We recently needed our locks changed at our new house and reached out to Darren at Sherlock Locksmiths. Fantastic service! Darren really went out of his way to help us. Our back door mechanism broke and we found that because it was put together during Covid the parts couldn’t be got hold of anymore. Long story short, after speaking with multiple different sources, Darren managed to get us a like for like replacement and brought it straight over and got it done! Even though this was a frustrating experience for everyone, he remained kind and helpful throughout and didn’t charge us any extra even though he had to come out three times - would recommend!

Brilliant from start to finish. Door Handle and mechanism went just before we were about to go on holiday. Darren answered our late evening call and was able to get out to us the next day. Turned up at time agreed and sorted the issue at the agreed price. Labour & parts warranty provided along with advice on keeping the mechanism in good shape for years to come. Great service, was around in under 30 mins when we were locked outside. Very friendly, explained how our lock works and payment was very professional with card machine and email receipt. Price wise it was much the same as anywhere else I asked, maybe a few quid more expensive than a couple others I tried but for the service received I think worth it.

Visited the Boorer Lock & Safe Co. in the Folly Market. Explained the problem with our front door lock. Locksmith arrived on the dot next day as arranged. After stripping the unit down & discovering the fault Dan promised to find a replacement unit ASAP. This he did and returned to fit. Much to our amazement Dan treated his first visit as a survey & didn’t charge. After fitting new unit Dan carried out extensive checks. The total cost including parts was extremely reasonable. We are very pleased with the end result and the first class service. Highly recommended.

Had needed to renew our conservatory lock and handles for ages. Phoned Dan who came out the same day and measured up and took the lock details. Replaced and fitted them within 48 hrs all done. Great job, no hassle and fair price. Thoroughly recommend this company.

Dan managed to open an old blocked lock, which was original with the house, unusual and I would have regretted to have to replace it. He was very patient, took his time and managed to salvage the lock, took it to his workshop to make the adjustments and came back to refit it in perfect working condition. I can not recommend him highly enough! Totally professional and perfectionist at a very fair price.

James did a great job changing out a faulty ignition switch and also reprogrammed the gateway control module on my VW Golf MK 6, unlike my local VW dealer (Camberley) who showed very little interest in resolving the issue.

After thinking I had got an ignition problem fixed at a large garage. It was not. I was stuck in a Tesco car park. I called Steve out from Auto locksmith. He came out to me as soon as he could, understood what the problem was and although he had to order me a part he got me up and running again as quick as he could. I called Dave when I encountered a problem with my front door lock. I had attempted to fix the problem myself but wasn’t sure that I had been successful.
