FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. We are totally happy with the end result & would not hesitate to recommend FirstlightLandscaping Landscaping to anyone

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off. We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. Would highly recommend!

Simon was professional from the first time meeting to quote. Highly recommend and the concrete pad he has done for my log cabin is spot on! Definitely would suggest using them!

Limited access to be able to get in and out of the garden and the guys hand balled tones of material up 2 flights of stairs which wasn’t easy. We are so happy and so pleased with work you did! Honestly couldn’t have wished for anyone better to do the job. 5 stars just isn’t enough but unfortunately that’s the best we can do ⭐️

Hired Longwood Landscaping to transform our blank uninspiring new build garden, including standard tiny basic patio using a plan I made out without really visualising the final result. Simon arrived on time to look at the plan and confirm the measurements noted and to give us a quote. He discussed the plan in more detail and gave some helpful advice on possible different materials to use which reduced the cost. He promptly quoted on the two options and after making our choice we took his advice. The quotes were very competitive with others we had received. From beginning to end the whole experience was relaxed with help and advice from Simon at every step of the way. Simon and his co-worker Guy did an absolutely brilliant job, and stuck to the plan religiously, and the finished result is better than we could have imagined. They managed to keep the site clean, always mindful we have a shared drive with our neighbour, despite some horrendous weather and finished the job in no time at all. The guys were courteous and professional from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble for the guys, even helping a neighbour with some of the old slabs out of the skip. Probably why a number of the neighbours asked Simon for quotes for work on their gardens, including one of the builders. All in all would highly recommend Simon and Guy for any other project be it large or small. Many thanks to you both for your hard work and giving us a garden we can now really enjoy, that is when we get all our plants back from our Daughters.

Our first time ordering fire wood from here; very reasonably priced, quick and efficient service. Logs are very dry and burn well. Thank you Simon, we will see you again once we’ve run out!

Josh had amazing communication with us from the start. We showed him what we wanted and then we discussed some additional ideas and he gave us advice to improve the original design. He has done a fabulous job of re landscaping our garden and takes real pride in his work and craftsmanship. He is reliable and trustworthy. Josh is an extremely trustworthy, reliable & a hardworking individual. It has been a great pleasure to work with Josh. His work was amazing, very professional and of very high standard. The price was also very reasonable. Josh and his team also did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was completed. I would extremely recommend work to be completed by Josh and his team. We could not be more pleased with the work recently carried out by Josh Snowdon Landscapes. We had a plan and Josh (and Dave) made that plan a reality, transforming our bare new build patch into a garden space we can enjoy. We felt as a team Josh and Dave went above and beyond to ensure the finished space worked for us and was robust. Landscaping the ground left by the developers was occasionally challenging. It is so refreshing to work with someone who clearly cares about the work they do and takes pride (rightly so) in what they deliver. Would highly recommend and a pleasure to work with.

Very helpful, professional, and tidy. Dave advised a split level for our long sloping, overgrown, and bumpy lawn, provided estimates based on some concerns we had, and completed the work on time. He has transformed our garden from an untidy state to a very neat, usable, and level garden. Dave also tidied up as he went, keeping the patio and driveway clear, and cleaned it up after he wash finished. After the lawn had settled down he came and put the grass seed down. Highly recommend Dave, and we will be contacting him again when we need more help. He always advised of issues and provided us options to choose from.

Had Dave do my patio new steps and tidied up my drive well pleased with all the works nothing was too much trouble we kept adding jobs on and it wasn’t an issue just fitted us in when he could all jobs completed will definitely be using him in the future

I have been using Black Fox for gardening work for a few years now. Thomas runs a very professional business and has the expertise to look after a garden really well. Spoke with Ash a few weeks ago about a medium/big project and he was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way to understand if you are not a gardener. quote was a little higher than others but as i checked the photos and read reviews i decided to go with AJT and boy am i glad. on the day i expected them , my area has horrendous road works with tail backs from dawn till dusk and the van still rocked up on time, tick! trades people turning up on time? good start, two gentlemen, not guys get out and greet me in a very professional and courteous manor looking every inch they come from the country side, the posh bit, you know what i mean. asking me to take them through it once again so there would be no misunderstandings. From there they proceeded to gather their tools and with that i have a cuppa as i have a meeting in an hour. cuppa finished, look out my back window and TICK! these gentlemen had gone to war with my unruly garden and the transformation in just one hour was amazing, fastforward 5 hours both my front and back garden were brand new, weed free and the icing was they had put back my partially collapsed wall, little to no debris any where all waste in the van even pots and tools i had discarded over summer were neatly stacked away. Needless to say i am very, very happy with the results, some will qoute you lower price and do half a job AJT ask a little more but worth every penny and wont leave you with a mess or half a job 10/10 on all aspects from presentation of staff to quality of work and they do work no hanging around having 5 cuppas. I wanted to convert my back garden to incorporate a single floor extension and a courtyard garden in the other half. Helen visited for a garden planning day and produced a very stylish design, which I has completely transformed the space.
