I am vary happy with the work Tom completed to install a fence in my garden. Tom prepped and installed the fence efficiently and to a high standard. He removed all waste materials as agreed I would definitely recommend for garden and fence work.

Second job Tom has done for us. Previous job was to remove and re concrete some large concrete fence posts that had moved after 15 years. This job a car ran into our fence, broke the fence panel snapped the concrete post and gravel board. Tom came out same day to look and completed the work the following week. Great job done in a quick timeframe and a good price.

Tom and the lads did a great job removing our huge hedges and replacing them with a feather edge fence. Always turned up on time and were informative of all works throughout the job. Even the unexpected extras were no trouble. Would 100% recommend!

Hired Longwood Landscaping to transform our blank uninspiring new build garden, including standard tiny basic patio using a plan I made out without really visualising the final result. Simon arrived on time to look at the plan and confirm the measurements noted and to give us a quote. He discussed the plan in more detail and gave some helpful advice on possible different materials to use which reduced the cost. He promptly quoted on the two options and after making our choice we took his advice. The quotes were very competitive with others we had received. From beginning to end the whole experience was relaxed with help and advice from Simon at every step of the way. Simon and his co-worker Guy did an absolutely brilliant job, and stuck to the plan religiously, and the finished result is better than we could have imagined. They managed to keep the site clean, always mindful we have a shared drive with our neighbour, despite some horrendous weather and finished the job in no time at all. The guys were courteous and professional from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble for the guys, even helping a neighbour with some of the old slabs out of the skip. Probably why a number of the neighbours asked Simon for quotes for work on their gardens, including one of the builders. All in all would highly recommend Simon and Guy for any other project be it large or small. Many thanks to you both for your hard work and giving us a garden we can now really enjoy, that is when we get all our plants back from our Daughters.

Absolute wonderful, polite, friendly lads with a really tough job but with a little bit of mid afternoon snacks and cake to keep the energy up 😉 you have beyond exceeded our expectations of the final result. Limited access to be able to get in and out of the garden and the guys hand balled tones of material up 2 flights of stairs which wasn’t easy. We are so happy and so pleased with work you did! Honestly couldn’t have wished for anyone better to do the job. 5 stars just isn’t enough but unfortunately that’s the best we can do ⭐️

I have been using Black Fox for gardening work for a few years now. Thomas runs a very professional business and has the expertise to look after a garden really well. Absolutely delighted with the transformation of our yard by Tom and​ his crew. ​Over the last two and half years of total renovating our house out of more than a dozen workers/trades we can only recommend 3 to others one being, with no hesitation, Black Fox. Quality of work, attention to detail, suggestions to us of things we had not thought of, sticking to timescales and quoted figures. Richard, Lottie and Andrew were incredible at taking on our garden full of stone, brick and artificial grass and clearing it all to create the beginnings of a beautiful garden. They came at a really difficult personal time, and their kindness, patience and absolute competence allowed the work to continue without stress. It was wonderful to know that we could completely trust their advice and helped us make decisions as the project went on. They also went above and beyond to clean up the masses of mud created through such a big clearance job. Just a massive thank you to Richard and the team :)

Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. Thank you for doing such an outstanding job for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to others.

We asked Rob to maintain the garden at our parent's house until sold after they passed. Rob quoted turned up when he said and did a first class job returning as and when required. We wanted our garden redesigned to make better use of it, but had little idea what to expect. Helen took us carefully through each stage of the design process from initial ideas to planting, taking time to listen and discuss options. There was even a visit to the nursery to help select plants. We are glad that we took the plunge to have a garden redesign - it was an enjoyable process. We have worked with Helen Taylor & Associates for the past 3 years. We are a local community group, and now a Registered Charity ( No. 1189048) , which was set up in 2018 to help maintain and improve the parks which abut the River Wharfe in Ilkley. We had lots of ideas and plans about what we needed to do to achieve this goal. We can honestly say that without Helen and her colleagues, who give their professional time pro bono, it would have been much more difficult for us to achieve the amazing transformation in the parks areas over the last 4 years. I wanted to convert my back garden to incorporate a single floor extension and a courtyard garden in the other half. Helen visited for a garden planning day and produced a very stylish design, which I has completely transformed the space. I highly recommend Dave and his team for your driveway project. They did a quality job of our tarmac driveway. I was particularly impressed by how passionate Dave was about getting a great result. Everything was coordinated as planned and communicated, and any hurdles along the way were navigated no drama. Absolutely superb service and professionalism from HG Gardening, I can't recommend them highly enough. Punctual, reliable, efficient, excellent attention to detail and extremely good value for money. Please read on for a more detailed review: Our back garden needed a complete renovation. We were wanting a raised patio completely ripping out and having most of the garden on one level, a summerhouse tearing down and removing the flags from underneath, new turf laying, new fencing, a platform sloping down to the garden from the back door and a new porcelain tiled patio area... so a big job. We spoke to a few landscape gardeners and explained our vision for our garden and what we were looking for. Ben at HG Gardening was by far the most enthusiastic that we spoke to and we immediately felt that Ben understood exactly what we were after. Using his experience, sound knowledge and technical expertise he was able to offer advice and provide ideas that we hadn't thought of that we ended up going with (so happy that we did) and he assured us that what we wanted was do-able as he could fit a digger through our garage door to use for the removal of the patio (the biggest part of the job). Ben's quote was also the lowest price that we received, but I was assured that nothing was done on the cheap and only the best quality available materials would be used, as proved to be the case. Ben and his co-workers were extremely punctual, always turned up on-time and didn't stop working the whole time they were here. I can't believe how quickly the job was completed considering the work that needed doing. They were extremely polite, reliable, and efficient.
