I manage a flat in a group of four flats in a converted house in Islington. We needed our fire alarm system updated to be compliant with regulations in the communal area and in all our flats. Chris and his team installed the new fire alarm system, lights and alarms in each of our flats. They were very professional, provided excellent workmanship, competitive with pricing and were very good at communicating with us all. I will be contacting Chris to have further electrical work done in the future.

Mayday are brilliant. I've been working with Chris to upgrade all the domestic down-lights in my small flat over the last six months, from old legacy lights to mains-powered LED spots, and he's been so helpful in providing sensible, practical, appropriate solutions, despite all sorts of weird light-gremlins creeping in - and he always completes the work quickly and neatly, I couldn't be happier. He's also a patient troubleshooter and reliable problem-solver. Great service, highly recommended!

Incredibly efficient. Mayday came in to fix a dumbwaiter that had broken down. They were quick, organised and very professional. If ever you have any electrical work needed in the future - I couldn't recommend Mayday enough!

I first met Chris around 4 years when he changed a light for us at our apartment in Princess Park Manor. I was really impressed with his professionalism and speed. It’s so easy to work with him and he has become our trusted electrician. We are really grateful we found him and would highly recommend. My experience with this company was very positive, Colin was able to do a last minute bit of work on my flat. He arrived very quickly and was able to complete the job perfectly. He also even went and grabbed some additional spare bulbs for me. I would recommend Colin he was very polite and helpful.

Colin is great! He came round and changed, moved and installed two wall lights for me, including the channeling in the plastering and replastering after. He was efficient, stuck to the quote and was a a very nice/friendly/professional guy - great job! I would very happily recommend him/ ask him next time I need an electrician.

Colin did a fantastic job on our flat. We needed quite a few things done, spotlights, light fixture replacements and socket installation and Colin and his team got it all done within a day and for a reasonable price. Azad was really wonderful! Responded right away and came to see the work which needed to be done. Assessed and gave me a good fair quote. There were a few different jobs and he came 3 times, always when he said he would. The jobs were done to an excellent standard and we were very happy.

Byron visited us to help diagnose a fault we've been having with our oven. He was courteous, efficient and communicative throughout explaining his findings in an easy to understand way. He has provided consistently excellent service in the past helping us diagnose a problem with the electrics of our boiler over the phone and assisting in the sourcing and installation of a range hood. I can’t thank Byron and the SES Electrical Contractors team enough! After waking up to no electricity in the house, I spent hours calling other electricians but couldn’t find anyone available. Called in the morning one day last week as something was triggering the fuse box. Billy was able to attend later in the day, he kept me up to date through the day with his ETA and when he arrived he was really friendly and chatty, found the fault and left us with working electricity. There was a part that needed changing, Billy again kept in contact and arranged to come back on Saturday morning to fit, turned up on time, tidied up after himself and explained everything clearly. Really happy with the service we recieved and felt the costs were reasonable and fair, especially considering a same day emergency appointment. Would definitely book Billy again if we needed any work doing.

Had a major electrical problem with my house alarm. I had amazingly prompt service. In this case it was Ben who was so helpful and experienced. Sorted it well within the hour and even voluntarily got my WiFi, which had nothing to do with the alarm, working again. He’s my hero. And I love the efficiency of the office, email confirming appointment etc..which I think was down to Trish. I can’t wait for my next emergency so that I can call them in again. (Okay, maybe that’s going a bit far…but I love them).
