This practise is the very best in every way! I used to be terrified of the dentist until I found Shaun and now I completely trust them. From the time you ring and speak to the receptionist to when you're being helped by the dental assistant and finally to treatment, service is excellent. They all go the extra mile. Talking of miles, I travel over 50 round trip for this dentist. If you live in Caterham, you are very lucky to have this practice on your doorstep. Thanks for all you do Townend.

The best possible dental experience! The practice feels welcoming and relaxing, while also being highly professional with modern equipment and fittings. I am a very nervous patient and I can highly recommend this practice (Dr Kush Raval in particular). The time taken to explain everything and discuss options with you is fantastic. I have been going here for many years and the whole team here are amazing. I would recommend them to anyone for the high quality care that is provided. I had a tooth extraction at short notice and felt comfortable and confident throughout - not something I thought I would ever say! Thanks so much!

After checking the excellent reviews online I decided to give this dentist a try. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and I was booked in to see the hygienist the same day. Really impressed the hygienist was friendly and was so pleased with the results of my clean, would highly recommend.

A friendly, efficient and well resourced practice. The appointment reminder system is excellent and very hard to ignore. The only thing that irritates me a little is the use of online questionnaires to try to sell me additional services.

Amazing practice ! Dr Patel saw me last min with an emergency which was causing me a lot of problems ! He helped me straight away and got me out of pain as well as explaining all options for future treatments well. Thank you so much to him and the lovely practice manager for squeezing me in to!! I have had a good experience here. Dr Patel is thorough with his examination and gives a care plan with options where available. Going to a dental clinic is something i never look forward to but the team are nice and i don’t feel like I’m being fleeced. There’s a small parking to the rear of the building as well, which is always helpful.

He always took the time to explain everything carefully and in a way that I could understand, considered my priorities, and involved me when deciding on treatment next steps. I suffer from major anxiety at dentists. From the moment I met Dr Bela, I felt safe. I've had four fillings and a crown rework, and at every point I've felt cared for by her, and the dental nurse Antonio's, utter professionalism and speed. Look, there's nothing fun about getting a filling, but all mine have been done with speed, great care and expertise. Yesterday, I had a bit of a panic attack, Dr Bela and the nurse were so generous with their patience and kindness, I felt very moved. I'd like to point out how lovely the staff are at reception too. Courteous, kind and warm. I'm a bit chatty and they never rush me! Dr Kataria saw me for a possible root canal and he could not have been gentler or kinder.

Timberhill is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Leanne and Carla are amazing hygienists - and I don’t say that lightly. Bella always has my best interests at heart and I genuinely look forward to seeing her, and Antonio is always helpful and friendly. Not to mention, Pam is a lovely receptionist and always a warm welcome. Thanks everyone!!

I had my first appointment with Dr Bela yesterday and I ended up having to have two filings. Dentists usually fill me with fear and panic but Dr Bela was so sweet and kind and I found I wasn’t worried at all. She talked me through all the steps and showed me exactly what she was doing with the camera the whole way through. I opted not to have any anaesthetic due to health reasons and Dr Bela was so gentle and made sure I barely felt it. Fantastic place I’m so chuffed and feel very reassured knowing I’m in very safe hands . Thank you .

Dr Evison is a wonderful dentist. She is patient and professional and is obviously very knowledgeable and qualified. She spent time explaining every step of the procedure and gave time to answering any questions I had. Her approach is confident, kind and secure and this was very reassuring. Dr Deepak Sumal yesterday gave me a dental implant and skin graft treatment. The appointment was nearly three hours long and I imagine must have been quite intricate work! Dr Deepak and Pauline, the nurse, put me at ease from the outset and I didn't feel nervous or apprehensive at all because of them. They were warm, friendly and professional from beginning to end. Throughout the procedure I was reassured and made to feel relaxed and comfortable. Before and after the treatment I had everything explained to me and was asked if I had any questions. I have complete confidence in Dr Deepak and would highly recommend him for this procedure. With thanks to him and Pauline for a pain-free and relaxed experience.

Then every person you will come into contact with; the front of house, dental nurses, dentists, hygienist... couldn't be lovelier or more helpful. I have had some good dentists in the past. However, Catherine and her team by far outshine any of them! As soon as you walk in the experience is outstanding. Both ladies at reception, Gerri and Julia, are friendly, welcoming, considerate and kind. Debbie, the hygenist is brilliant! Every time I have been to the dentist, even occasionally as an emergency, Catherine has been incredibly skilled with the work, kind, professional and explained the process. I always feel as though I'm the only patient in the practice. I couldn't recommend this dental practice more highly and I am so thankful to be under their exceptional skill and care!

Best dentist in the borough for sure. I had paid a visit to discuss an issue I was having as I had made a bad decision to get a silver tooth cap done by a jeweller who mould/sell clip on temporary silver tooth caps for aesthetic purposes which is known illegal and ended being stuck on my molar for a year & tried everything to get it out, went few dentists to help but were unable to help. While we started the process they were very welcoming, kind & helpful, giving me advice for future reference towards my teeth as this metal is unhealthy. Dr. Paul & Beth helped me take out a silver tooth cap that was stuck on my tooth for a year & figured out few options to how they could take it out rather then saying “there is no other option” like other dentist would say to me. At the end, we came to an agreement that drilling into the silver tooth and cut it out now would be a better option. Now I feel confident & glad to see my natural tooth back lol. Thanks to Dr. Paul and Beth.

Really friendly staff and bright airy dentist studio. They informed me that my tooth had cracked and that I would need a cap, I was able to pay in installments and when it came to the day they made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. They informed me of the time it would take and that they would have to shave down my tooth first, they gave me regular breaks and although the sensation was odd I was suprisingly in no pain or discomfort. Would definitely reccomend to those who are nervous about visiting the dentist!

Attended Selsdon Smiles Dental Practice for a root canal procedure. As per most of any visit to a Dentist I was extremely anxious. I need not have worried, my Dentist "Kishen" put me at ease from the off with his reassuring and patient attitude. He took time to explain the procedure. After the initial injection to numb the area the procedure was painless and undertaken with care. Could not fault my experience.
