I’ve used Dave on a number of occasions over the last few years and most recently, on a substantial house renovation. I can’t speak more highly of Dave. His work is absolutely faultless. He is a master craftsmen and a credit to his industry. If you want a joiner who produces top quality work, someone that you can trust and takes pride in his work as well as being tidy and punctual, look no further than this man.

We have had our internal doors changed, Mike did an amazing job and worked tirelessly for two days. He was very professional and knowledgeable and we couldn't be happier with his work. He turned up when he said he would and was punctual. We totally recommend his services.

So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. Nothing was any problem he always checked at each stage that we were happy. It looks amazing looking forward to using it over the summer. I would most definitely recommend Mark.

I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! In all, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend S R Bell Carpentry and Building enough!

Rami has a solution for everything! I was very impressed by all of the work he’s done for me. Including paint the house from top to bottom, building a breakfast bar, built in cabinets and wardrobes, bed, media wall and stair runner. The house looks brand new and I couldn’t recommend Rami enough. He goes above and beyond to make things perfect and is an all round great guy!

Can’t rate Jordan’s work and communication highly enough. He has absolutely transformed our lounge with the shelving he has designed and fitted (requested a larger base to support our tv and he managed it without it looking monstrous). Everyone that visits is wowed by the work he has done. It was such a pleasure to deal with Jordan, that I asked him back to redo my sons wardrobes and shelves. Again impeccable, speedy work with great comms. He’s also just a really friendly, genuine guy.

Jordan designed and built cabinets, shelving and desk space for our home office. He had good ideas for the use of the space, his workmanship was high quality and he was very professional. My personal favourite was the space for our coats & shoes! We were so pleased with the results and would recommend him for similar work.

Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves. Top marks!
