Met a friend for lunch. Lovely & plentiful food, lots of choice and all at very reasonable prices. Service was very good. Nice cozy pub ambiance. I would recommend booking in advance as it can get quite busy. We will definitely return.
We visited the Royal Oak for a Christmas Breakfast and meet Santa. Service, Food and whole atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely be visiting again more regularly in 2025
Lovely local pub, bar staff/waiters are always friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food is always good value for money and today I have to say presentation was spot on! Looked and tasted great. Well done team for all round great service.
We booked the festive feast for Christmas eve. What a delightful experience! We had a beautifully decorated table, the price point was just right but, most importantly, that was the best turkey we've ever had! We had such a lovely evening, the pub is beautifully decorated and it was so memorable. Thank you!
I visited The Royal Oak last Saturday for dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lovely blend of a traditional pub feel and a lively, friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we were well looked after throughout our time there. The food was excellent—fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. I had burger, which was perfectly prepared and generously portioned. The rest of the menu also looked great, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The service was prompt, and despite being busy, the team managed everything efficiently with a smile. The drinks selection was impressive, and the beer garden looked like a great spot to enjoy in warmer weather. Overall, The Royal Oak is a great place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
