Perfect stay here this weekend! The location was perfect, food & service was faultless and the room was very comfortable. My favourite touch was the many critters outside. I could’ve spent my entire stay hanging out with the goats, rabbits and geese. We will be back! Thanks again, Katie & Tom 🪿🐇🐓🐐

Well this has really been a perfect stay from start to finish. The location is so pretty with amazing walks on your doorstep. The pub and accommodation is superb. We stayed in the shepherd hut 2. Food was unbelievable. Really well cooked and lovely produce. The staff are what make this 5 stars all round for me. They really made us feel so welcome and we're so lovely and very funny. We laughed so much on this little trip. Everyone is so friendly apart from the geese. They 100% had it in for us. We will definitely be returning. I think this will become an annual trip. Thanks so much for making our stay so special 💗

Amazing location. In the middle of nowhere. Food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable. would highly recommend. We will be definitely visiting again. Lots for the kids to do too while you’re eating.

The hotel was top. Breakfast brilliant, the whole package is/was thoroughly designed for all clients,, disabled most importantly. Rooms sorted for disabled clients, including all facilities downstairs, pub, restaurant. Plenty of outside stuff going on for little/BIG kids. We'll worth a visit even if not staying. Food worth the visit

We booked lunch for a family group and after a blustery walk, it was warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and helpful, quick to take our orders and not rushing after we ate. The food orders all arrived at the same time. Each is well presented and there were many comments of great, delicious and wow as we ate. The place is very clean, toilets kept spotless (important for some of our group) Obviously a popular spot to eat and drink. We will visit again in the summer. Many thanks to the kitchen staff, bar staff and servers for making our lunch a lovely experience.
