This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We ordered croquettes, fried chicken, truffle flatbread, short rib, lamb rib, the layered potatoes, beetroot’s and broccoli, followed by the basque cheesecake and the sticky toffee pudding. I can’t fault a single item. Every one of the four of us loved everything we ordered and will definitely return. Delicious food, great ingredients, absolutely delicious! Lovely owner too!
Arrived at the restaurant Christmas Eve at 8pm. Warmly greeted by the staff and shown to a table. The menu on offer for Christmas Eve was simply fantastic and I really loved the fried chicken starter(simply had to have another with the mains).
We had a wide selection of starters and some of the mains like the beef rib and lamb. This place is a definite gem and is going on my revisit list to come back for more.
When you start your visit with having the door opened for you by the staff, you’re onto a winner! BEST FOOD we’ve had for a long time. We think it’s just the spot the local area needs! We will 100% be back! We’d say they’re under charging for the quality!! Excellent.
We visited cafe continental on Friday. We love the tapas style menu. The only difficulty is deciding which of the delicious dishes to pick. I think me and my partner ordered half the menu. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had fresh oysters from the Specials. The half roasted chicken was delicious, really juicy. And Crispy potatoes Gorgeous. Will definitely be going back again
This place exceeded all expectations, the food was incredible. Can’t wait to visit again and again and again. Lovely interiors and atmosphere, friendly and fast service. The music was also class! My partner loves sticky toffee pudding and he said this was the best he’s ever had. Super reasonably priced for the amazing quality!!
