We regularly come for a weekend breakfast or brunch and wouldn’t go anywhere else. As other reviews have said, the food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Whether you are after something sweet or savoury, there is a great choice and some brilliant specials. The service is also excellent and a special mention must go to Taylor, who is a real star. It is definitely worth the wait if there is a queue outside (and they will lend you an umbrella to keep you dry)!

Great full English breakfast! Especially the beans, eggs, and mushrooms. Smoked salmon as an extra is also fresh. Sausages and bacon are a little bit too oily for me so I didn’t finish. Potatoes are a bit hard to bite. Cartado to me is too sour (just personal taste). The staff are kind and warm. However I waited for 20 minutes after ordering and I was very hungry. But the taste worth it! Next time I may try a pancake. What’s more, is there any one know what the black stuff on the fork is? It seems like toast but has a taste of meat. Really appreciate!

Stopped by Cafe 19 for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience! I had the pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and delicious, while my wife enjoyed the French toast that was just as amazing—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Both dishes were generously portioned and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making for a really enjoyable morning. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty breakfast spot!

Visited this place when visiting Manchester. The place is walk-in only at the weekend for brunch. We waited no longer than 20 minutes for our table. The menu has loads of choices. The French toast and pancakes looked amazing. I ended up choose a Full English which was cooked well and had great tasting meats. I recommend this as a brunch place.

Tried the cafe for the first time yesterday. Initially wanted to grab some coffee but ended up having pizza as well. I had mocha, which was really good as not too sweet nor blunt. The Piccolo pizza 🍕, and it was top notch, spicy as it claims.

Would absolutely recommend. Food was delicious, coffee was lovely, and service was great. The owners were so friendly and the place had a really good atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

I am a regular at this point! Family owned and run and they are the loveliest people I have ever met. Some of the cakes are home made (super delish). Brought my family and friends here multiple times, none of them had any complaints either🩷

Been coming here for the past 1 year, such a nice place. Reccomendes it to all my mates. Coffee is top notch, so is the food and the dessert. The owner and the staff are all lovely, always makes me feel welcomed. Highly highly recommend!

Great little cafe with a wide selection of food and desserts at fair prices. The service was good and atmosphere very relaxed. Everything is halal and they have good vegetarian and GF options. They also have their own branded coffee (which I didn't try). There is outdoor seating available and a garden area at the back which was closed, maybe it could be used a children's play area. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit.

Nice place for a good ol' Sunday roast or for classic breakfasts. Very relaxing vibe, and the staff are nice too. Went here several times and always just had a great time.

Had an amazing time with my friends. Absolutely in love with the vegan options and the atmosphere of the place. Would be great to propose throw blankets for tables that are set in the "veranda" though, it can be chilly even with the heaters on. 🙏

I recently visited Evelyn’s in Manchester and enjoyed their vegan zattar mushrooms. The dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a solid option for vegan diners. However, I was a bit disappointed that the vegan version is priced the same as the regular option, even though it doesn’t include the egg. Adjusting the price to reflect the reduced ingredients would be a fair improvement. That said, Evelyn’s is a lovely spot to catch up with a friend, especially in the colder months when its warm and cozy atmosphere is particularly inviting. Despite the pricing quibble, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

What a pleasant Wednesday night dinner. We had no wait and the service and food was excellent and on time. We were told the dishes are smaller and for sharing. Although the sizes were much bigger than the Spanish tapas style. The 3 of us shared 3 meat dishes, sea bream and sumac chicken and lamb chops. We shared 3 veggie dishes, the courgette, leeks and cauliflower. Also, the two desserts they offered were delicious.

Fast service, friendly staff. We had the ECB Breakfast: full English with a Middle Eastern twist. I also recommend the 0% martini cocktail…a lovely preprandial palate-cleanser.

When we came in it was one of the kitchen staff that needed to ring the bell for the waiters to see and welcome/ seat us. Though the restaurant was nearly empty. They very put us on a small round table. Very uncomfortable. On the other hand food is really good. Tasty and fresh! Really recommend sumac chicken and the humus! Take a bit more care of your customers as you have great scene, fantastic food.

Had a fantastic morning at the Latte Art training course in the Barista School. The teaching was amazing and it was so fun to see the coffees getting better and better as the morning went on

First, let me start with something unusual, which is a barista school. There is a coffee roaster. I expected the coffee to be like any other specialty coffee, but it wasn't anything like that except for the professionalism of the coffee art. The taste of carrot cake is slightly devoid of cinnamon flavor. Service is slow, with only two baristas working the cashier and making coffee. The cafe's atmosphere is terrific and carefully designed to create a unique experience. The prices are great as I got two flat whites and a carrot 🥕 cake for only £10. I recommend visiting the professional cafe. My review is subject to the time and place I came at, which was 10 am on a Saturday. What I don't like, you might like, unlike me, so I invite you to try the cafe.

We attended for a 3 hour barista course hosted by Dale and really enjoyed our time. Dale is very knowledgeable and a great facilitator for the session. The training is well structured and gives plenty of opportunity to practice making espresso and latte art techniques. Left with a greater appreciation of the skill involved and confidence that I can make a good coffee!

My husband and I took part in the Beginner Barista Course this afternoon with Dale and had an amazing time. Dale was so enthusiastic and patient with us all, answering all our questions and re showing us techniques. 3hrs absolutely flew by and we learnt loads - absolutely recommend. Top tip - don’t drink any coffee before because there’s plenty to taste during the course!

I recently visited Sugar Junction with a friend, and we had an absolutely delightful experience! 🥰 Lavender Latte ☕️ This was a highlight of my order. The latte had a beautifully subtle floral aroma without being overpowering. The balance of sweetness and lavender notes was spot on, and the creaminess of the milk made it incredibly comforting. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for something unique yet satisfying. Scone with Cream and Jam 🥯 The scone was fresh and had a perfectly crumbly texture that paired excellently with the thick, rich clotted cream and fruity jam. Each bite felt like a little bit of heaven. Ambiance & Service ✨ The cafe itself has such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Sugar Junction delivered delicious drinks, heavenly scones, and a relaxing ambience on every front. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu! Highly recommended. 🌟

Such a lovely atmosphere and cute vibe. I bring my mom to enjoy the afternoon tea and it was perfect. I loved the scone so much. It was fluffy and perfectly match with cream and jam. I also loved the brunch and rest of the cake and tea as well. Definitely recommend🥰

Had lovely afternoon tea, maybe should have ordered one to share!! The cafe is quirky but worth a visit. Our only small negative is we wished we had been asked which cake we would like, pistachio is not my thing.

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve the best hot chocolates and probably one of the best brownies within Manchester! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.
