I've been to the salon twice now and found it a relaxing and welcoming place. Laura did a fantastic job with my haircut, she really listened to what I wanted and I have had so many compliments since. Second visit I had a colour and was again impressed with the guidance Laura gave me on the shade. I'm very pleased with the result. Will definitely be back! Thanks.

I have been a client for years now and recommend the place wholeheartedly. John is a top hairdresser, really talented, friendly and funny, and the salon is beautiful, clean and pleasant. Prices are fair too. Great place.

Loved the whole experience. Staff were very attentive without being over powering. My hair turned out exactly the colour I wanted. No cutting took place. Again what I wanted. All in all Ryan did exactly as it said on use tin. Perfect. Lots of compliments too from friends.

Best hairdresser’s ever! I was anxious about going to a new hairdresser’s having moved away from where my old one was based and hadn’t had my hair done in ages so needed a full transformation! My friend recommended George Frank in Didsbury and so I went for it! Not only is Sean the loveliest person ever, but he is an absolute wizard with hair! He always takes so much care, makes sure it’s perfect, gives a luxurious head massage, and I always leave feeling so confident, pampered, and happy! All the other staff are also so lovely and they serve delicious refreshments. Have had a full head of highlights, T bar, and will back for a half head refresh just before Christmas! Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you George Frank! 🤩👏🏻✨

Never usually leave reviews, but I had the loveliest experience at the Didsbury salon with Jenni🥰 Made to feel comfortable from the moment I had my consultation and felt really listened to, which meant I could put my full trust in the process!! It felt like Jenni put so much effort into my hair and really listened when I said I wanted it to look natural… which must be really hard when you’re being asked by a brunette to be as blonde as possible😂 Jenni is also so lovely and the easiest person to speak to for a full 4/5 hours appointment! X

Rachel did my balayage about 2 years ago, really amazing service from her. I've since moved away, but I'm writing this review now because I've let it grow out and I still get compliments on on it. Whenever I go to the hairdresser's they're always amazed how naturally it's grown out and comment that how well it's been done. Would recommend Rachel if she's still at George Frank Didsbury!

Came in today for a balayage with a red tone and it came out so much better than i could have imagined. Elena and Jamie lynn did such an incredible job with my hair and they were all very welcoming. A lovely environment, will 100% be returning!

Gemma is fabulous, I have every faith in her colour decisions, and she cuts hair really well. My friends are always complimenting and asking who does my hair. The salon as a whole is lovely and right on my doorstep. Worth every penny :o)

Visited Jamie Pickstock today with little knowledge on what I wanted to do with my hair. It turned out so beautiful, I’m obsessed. Not only were the staff attentive and generally lovely people, but they explained each step to me and made me feel very comfortable. I walked into the salon nervous and walked out completely beyond happy. I was someone who was always scared to get her hair cut and worried how it would turn out and unsure what would work for me. My hair felt heavy and lifeless. I feel vibrant, younger, love the new length, the layers and the fringe so much. Jack is lovely and is a total artist, very knowledgeable and took time to talk and consult and also listen to my worries. I look forward to my next appointment. Establisment is also very clean, smells lovely and overall very warm and welcoming.

In a word - Excellent Jamie used to cut my hair several years ago before I moved away from the area, and I was happy with that. During the pandemic, I certainly let my hair go a little wild. The time came when I needed to put out the SOS call and get my hair sorted. So I reached out to Jamie to try to get it sorted! I was certainly not disappointed. He did an amazing job which I’m really happy with. He was very attentive and listened closely to my wishes and was able to use his skill and judgement to make suggestions that fit with my aspirations! He’s also very good company and a pleasure to deal with! I’ll be back! Thanks Jamie!

I’ve been coming to Jamie and the team at Two Two Eight for some time now and seen everyone there . The products they use are gentle for my scalp , I love the Davines product. Jamie and Beth are always friendly and salon always spotless . Chat is good too but enough time to relax and do some work whilst my colour is on always . I feel refreshed and love my hair every time . Highly recommend to all .

Lovely salon! Very welcoming and comfortable. Amy was absolutely brilliant. I didn’t really know what to ask for but I showed her a picture for reference of the colour I wanted. Best hair experience I’ve ever had and I am obsessed with my new balayage! It is beautiful, has so many colours running through it, and the root smudge looks super natural. Tash was absolutely amazing, and everyone in the salon gave it a super friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I also feel that a lot more time and care was put into my hair than at other salons at the same price point. I will certainly be returning!

I visited Casey Williams Studio as part of Hair Reborn having lost all my hair during chemo, I was very anxious about attending but all the girls made me feel so welcome that I relaxed quickly. Jessi was absolutely brilliant, my guardian angel sent to make me feel a bit more me again. She is a professional and that shows in how she explains what she feels is best for you, and how she transformed my hair into something amazing considering she didn’t have much to work with. I had my first ever manicure today. Emma was absolutely lovely. I'm really bad at small talk but I found conversations really easy with her. She is a beautiful credit to the business. My work mainly consists of manual labouring but Emma made my hands look pretty and girlie again. I will be back.

I went to Katie for my bridal skin prep- she tailor made a 6 month programme for me which focussed on specific skin concerns I had. She was extremely knowledgeable and I trusted her throughout, my skin has never been better and my makeup artist on my wedding day commented on how my skin had improved. I loved going for my facials, it was so relaxing and Katie makes you feel so comfortable and gives really good advice on how to improve your skincare. Katie also did my classic lashes and brow tint and shape the week before my wedding and they looked incredible. Thanks so much Katie, I couldn’t recommend you enough 🤍

Cutest shop ever! The sweetest stylists and receptionists! I am visiting from another country and got a wash and blow dry with a trim and it looks beautiful! Very warm and welcoming and even offered me drinks. Gave me information also on nice products to use! Hair came out just how I liked it they listened to everything I wanted. Would definitely recommend!!

Julie did an amazing job of my nails! Due to a miscommunication, I got a standard gel manicure instead of BIAB which meant my nails were weak and breaking. Julie fixed my broken nail for free and rebooked my appointed the following week to re do my manicure to correct the error and strengthen my nails. Amazing service and beautiful nails, would recommend! 💅
