Managed to still squeeze me in on the day for colour and a cut despite the original hairdresser being ill. Really appreciated and absolutely love my hair, happy to have found a new local salon. Thanks guys!

Best hairdresser’s ever! I was anxious about going to a new hairdresser’s having moved away from where my old one was based and hadn’t had my hair done in ages so needed a full transformation! My friend recommended George Frank in Didsbury and so I went for it! Not only is Sean the loveliest person ever, but he is an absolute wizard with hair! He always takes so much care, makes sure it’s perfect, gives a luxurious head massage, and I always leave feeling so confident, pampered, and happy! All the other staff are also so lovely and they serve delicious refreshments. Have had a full head of highlights, T bar, and will back for a half head refresh just before Christmas! Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you George Frank! 🤩👏🏻✨

Never usually leave reviews, but I had the loveliest experience at the Didsbury salon with Jenni🥰 Made to feel comfortable from the moment I had my consultation and felt really listened to, which meant I could put my full trust in the process!! It felt like Jenni put so much effort into my hair and really listened when I said I wanted it to look natural… which must be really hard when you’re being asked by a brunette to be as blonde as possible😂 Jenni is also so lovely and the easiest person to speak to for a full 4/5 hours appointment! X

I visited George Frank Salon following a friend recommendation from a client of ‘Zack’. I was looked after by ‘Sean’ who listened patiently as I described the look I wanted. Sean is an extremely talented professional. The results were amazing. I was impressed with the fact the Salon insists on a proper consultation and patch test ‘prior’ to the hair appointment. This proved how professional they are, which put me at ease from the get-go. Sean went out of his way to explain everything in detail and offer lots of advice, which I really appreciate. Another friend mentioned that they thought the salon was a bit expensive, but I honestly found it to be quite reasonable. Especially for a high end salon using decent products with such an experienced team. It's certainly no more expensive than aywhere else. These days any salon isn’t ‘cheap’, and you definitely get what you pay for at George Frank. Worth every penny. Pros: They help match you with the best specialist consultant for your hair type, not just the first available. You can also read up on each hair consultant’s background and experience on the website. Luxury, relaxing experience, not just rushed in and out to get bums on seats. They only use decent salon brand products. They answer the phone promptly and you can hear properly when calling to ask about services (great customer service, thank you Ben who took my calls). Decent website with transparent prices and an efficient online booking system. Extended opening hours available for clients with busy diaries. No annoying 'hard upsell' of products or services during the visit. But a decent array of salon quality ‘treats’ available. I did buy a shampoo and blow dry spray, recommended by Sean, which I am very happy with. Cons: I didn't discover them years ago. I don’t usually write lengthy reviews like this. But it was such a great experience all-round, I figured I would make the effort. Thank you Sean and Team!

Rachel did my balayage about 2 years ago, really amazing service from her. I've since moved away, but I'm writing this review now because I've let it grow out and I still get compliments on on it. Whenever I go to the hairdresser's they're always amazed how naturally it's grown out and comment that how well it's been done. Would recommend Rachel if she's still at George Frank Didsbury!
