Top fish and chips, a little pricier than some places but worth the extra pound or two.
Excellent local fish and chips, expertly prepared and cooked in traditional dripping. Fish suppers cooked in vegetable oils do not digest as well as those cooked in dripping and so tend to upset the digestive system for several hours. If this is your problem with fish and chips, I suggest you try out this great little chippy.
First time visit. Fish cooked to order so leave time for that.. about 10 mins in my case. Defo tasty fish and lovely fat "juicy" chips, the way I like 'em. Small location but none the worse for that and the bonus is you see the fish fillet from cooler box to deep fat fryer to wrapping (and finally to stomach) ! Highly recommended.
Stunning fish and chips, cooked in Beef dripping, which makes everything sooooo tasty. The food is all on the pricey side however you have to pay for quality. There is a little bench so you can sit outside if the weather is ok, to consume the nomness immediately! This was my second visit and I had waited a whole year to return. Thank you Popsies for keeping the Beef Dripping tradition alive 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻
First time visit to this lovely fish and chip shop this evening for our late supper. Fish cooked to order and didn't take long. Very friendly guy/owner serving. The fish was absolutely delicious 😋 and plenty of chips that we shared. I would 100% recommend this fish and chip shop and will definitely be back again 👍😊
