When we walked into Southdowns Manor we just knew it was going to be the venue for our wedding. Every one of the staff we interacted with could not have done more for us. Lia was our wedding planner and regularly stayed in touch from the moment we booked. As the big day got closer, she walked us through all the things we needed to do and asked every detail about how we wanted the day to go. When we weren't sure, she was happy to offer her opinion and guide us through. On a couple of occasions, she picked up some problems with our choices and helped us work through them so that it wouldn't cause any issues on our day. We went for the 2 day wedding package, which was such a good choice. It was lovely to spend time with some of our wedding guests before the big day. The food was such good quality and plenty enough for everyone. Lia was there to greet us and our guests, showing everyone to their rooms. When she left, the bar staff took over and looked after us and our guests. No ask was too much, including them providing some extra pillows for our guests. Lia arrived early the next morning as breakfast was being served for our guests. Breakfast was simply delicious and set everyone up for the big day. Lia and the team worked tirelessly in the background to make sure everything went to plan. Whenever we needed her, she was there. We loved everything about our day and a big part of that is down to Lia and the team at Southdowns Manor. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

As a wedding photographer, Southdowns Manor is always a pleasure to work at. The venue is absolutely wonderful, with its charming atmosphere and lovely grounds providing the perfect backdrop for a wedding day. There are so many unique spots for photos, making it easy to capture stunning and memorable moments for the couple. The staff are fantastic—friendly, professional, and always so helpful, ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the day. Their attention to detail really enhances the experience for everyone involved. The bridal prep areas are another standout feature—spacious, well-lit, and thoughtfully designed to create a relaxed and beautiful space for the morning preparations. Southdowns Manor was everything we could have hoped for and more! Lia and her team went above and beyond for us in the lead-up to our wedding. Lia was the perfect wedding planner—reassuring, patient, understanding, and never pushy. She even proofread my invites, which was such a thoughtful touch - when I needed to make sure things just right! The venue itself is stunning, and on the day, everything was exactly as I had envisioned. The whole day flowed beautifully, and even with some difficult relatives and last-minute changes, Lia handled everything with such grace. A wonderful venue, offering a number of rooms for wedding guests to mingle chat or dance. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely no rubber chicken dinner here.

Came here for a friend's wedding and the venue was wonderful inside and out! Plus the room we stayed in for the night was so clean and cosy.
