Excellent setting, great wedding, really enjoyable. Staff were great, very helpful.

Thank you so much Donna for letting us use your beautiful venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, Donna has been so responsive to messages, so happy to let us view the venue and so helpful in recommending suppliers and ideas. Donna had the perfect balance between being present to help but also being unobtrusive and letting us get on and use the venue as we wished. We had so many compliments on the venue on the day, particularly on the gorgeous scenery which made the perfect photo backdrop. The venue is spacious (enough so that we managed to fit a large ceilidh in!) and really beautiful, even prior to any decoration. We had worried it may get a little warm, but this was totally unfounded - the front of the marquee is opened for fresh air and the temperature was perfectly controlled all night. We made good use of the camping field, and Donna was so accommodating in allowing glamping tents to be set up. At the end of the night, it was lovely to just be able to walk over to the next field! Donna (and Dave!) really do just give the sense that they have everything covered, from a 1-way system on the day to avoid congestion, to plenty of parking, and ample space for storage and vendors. Thank you so much, Donna - we are excited for your new Winery venture!

Great views at this venue which all our guests loved. Donna was responsive to our email requests and dealt with our guests and suppliers directly on our behalf which is a useful service. Her husband was most helpful on the event weekend. Donna herself snapped at me on our event day and wasn’t very helpful at all (her husband said she would help put up some things, she was short with me after I offered some constructive comments for future guests and drove off) - as though we were invading her land. This is a shame as they were close to being somewhere we would highly recommend, but think they should probably be nicer to their customers. But our guests loved it, and it was a chilled out venue to hire.

We would rate Donna and Dave's venue, kindness, and general all-round support with our wedding as 10 out of 5. Donna was very friendly and helpful, and replied to every question in lightening speed! She always welcomed us to visit the venue as many times as we liked, and gave us very helpful advice about planning and local services available without being pushy at all. When we visited the venue several times, it felt more like visiting a friend. Anything we asked was never too much for them, and Dave was great helping us set up the lights and the technical aspects before and on the day. We were able to use the chest freezer, and tables, cake table, chairs, dance floor, flooring etc all provided. They went above and beyond to make sure the marquee was perfect, and really went out of their way to fix a problem when we couldn't find the right flowers at the last minute. It was just everything we wanted and beyond - – they couldn’t do enough to make our day perfect. Lovely people, classy venue, stunning views and a beautiful marquee.

We recently had our Wedding Day at Poppydown Vineyard. We first viewed the barn around 12 months ago when we fell in love with it and we have watched all the different aspects of the barn come to life since while Donna & Dave have added their finishing touches. All of our guests absolutely loved the venue, and the views were just breathtaking! Donna & Dave were fantastic throughout the planning process. Donna helped us hugely through the planning, answering questions quickly and accommodated all of our guests going above and beyond. Dave helped us on the set up and ran the Wedding Day. We sent pictures of lighting ideas and decoration of the venue ahead of purchasing anything to make sure this was all possible and everything was accommodated to help make the day personal to us. Overall, our experience has been great and we would recommend this venue to anyone! Thank you Donna & Dave, we wish you all the very best xx
