Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. If you are looking to conduct an event in Dorset, definitely check out this company. 5 * from me

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We hired Abbots Court for the weekend for an extended staff Xmas party. Incredible venue, that I’ve been to for several weddings. All the team loved it, beautiful house and location. The outside caterers were fantastic. Great cocktail barman provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether a corporate weekend away, friends or a wedding.

I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

Julie is the most incredibly talented lady, focusing on the finest details to make your dream day a reality- Julie made my vision come to life for our wedding on 20.06.14. Julie went above and beyond in so many way to bring the whole wedding theme together... even to the last minute spritz of Jo Malone so it smelt divine as our guests arrived. I will treasure all our stationary forever. And recommend Julie to everyone getting hitched!

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

I was very lucky to have won the Canvas and Dreams competition; which meant I was able to choose from one of their packages. I went for the Cinema Package, so I could have an outdoor cinema experience with some of my friends. The service this company provided was absolutely amazing. The set up was very quick. They were very friendly and even added special touches, such as marshmallows, sweets and popcorn. The interior was lovely and comfortable. Blankets and seating enough for all of my friends. The sound system was very very good and had a wide selection of movies to choose from. They even left an instruction book, incase we got stuck with anything. All of my friends, myself and even my children absolutely loved the cinema experience. Collection was also very quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outdoor cinema experience or something special for a kids birthday or any special occasion. Emma and her business is incredible! Her response time for start was second to none. I used canvas and dreams for my cousins birthday back in May, and had such a fab experience I knew I had to use her again for my dads surprise 60th Disco The second Emma arrived to my house we greeted with a big hug and even though storm Bert came and changed us being able to have a marquee, Emma kept calm and decorated the house like a professional venue. I usually do it but it was so nice to spend time on other parts than the main organising. I have attached photos below and next time I have an event, I will 100% be contacting Emma again :) 10/10

I booked the pink sleepover igloo dome for my teenage daughter and her two friends, it was even cuter in real life than the pics I saw on Instagram, little lanterns, fluffy rugs and glittery pillows. Emma was really helpful and patient with me fussing about dates and the weather. It was put up perfectly and it definitely had the wow factor! I loved not having to think about anything, from bedding to projector set up, it was all done for me, such a treat! Would totally recommend, and if I can book with canvas and dreams again in the future I will.

Georgi @ Scarlett Rose Events made our day run so smoothly and stress free! From the beginning, Georgi was incredibly helpful and receptive to any questions we had. She's very well connected with vendors and was able to rely on her network when we were looking for some additional vendors. She took over one month ahead of our big day and was so organized and efficient!! She brought her expertise and made us think of so many details we would have missed otherwise. On the day, somehow Georgi was everywhere all at once. She worked so hard and kept us to time! We had such a stress free day and could truly enjoy the party because we knew Georgi was handling everything. Above all, she is the kindest and loveliest person and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know her throughout this process. As someone who originally didn't think we needed a coordinator, I now would highly highly recommend having someone on the day - specifically Georgi!! She also helped us with hiring some decoration items and was very flexible when we added things last minute. I cannot recommend Georgi enough for your day!!!!

We were planning an outdoors wedding and Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events was extremely accommodating when we only wanted to hire sashes for our chairs. Georgi was so friendly to talk to when we were organising it and I felt like that part of our wedding decor was in safe hands. When the British weather decided to give us rain on our wedding day, Georgi stepped in last minute and allowed us to move our wedding inside and provided the most beautiful wedding arch dressed for our ceremony. It looked amazing and can only thank Georgi for coming to our rescue and creating such a beautiful wedding space. I would 100% recommend Georgi if you are after decor and set up for your event. The only reason why we didn’t hire more items from Georgi is because we just didn’t need it but her stock looks beautiful.

We stumbled upon her website and instantly felt safe and comfortable entrusting her with my daughter's most important day. Georgi helped us find wonderful vendors, guided us through British wedding customs and legal considerations, spent hours on Facetime getting to know our vision and even helped us plan a Hen do and rehearsal dinner. She took care of all the details and made sure the wedding day itself went flawlessly. We know we never could have accomplished what we did without her gentle guidance and amazing spreadsheets. Well what can I say?! Our wedding day was an absolute dream from start to finish. The team is absolutely incredible, with special shout outs to Emma for her impeccable organisation and to Andrew for his flawless service. We had several mobility challenged members of our party and they left this event feeling like they’d been treated like absolute queens! The most perfect day at a dream venue Patrick and I had the most incredible experience getting married at Mapperton. From the moment we first visited we knew it was the perfect venue for us due to how flexible, versatile and stunning it is. Holly our amazing wedding coordinator was one of the reasons we chose the venue and is a true asset to Mapperton. She was there to take us through the whole process, being a fountain of knowledge for amazing suppliers in the South West and nothing was too big an ask. Most importantly she made sure our day ran like clockwork and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests have given us so many compliments saying it is the favourite wedding they have ever been to and this is all thanks to the hard work put in by the team at Mapperton. We can't wait to pop in, take a walk around the stunning Italian gardens and visit the Mapperton family to remember our special day.

WHAT A VENUE! Having shot at venues all over Mapperton is just incredible. It has everything, and I mean everything. Multiple choices for the ceremony, STUNNING grounds, gorgeous barn. It honestly has it all. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and really take care of their suppliers - which means they take care of their couples. It's a dream venue!

We worked with Melanie for our wedding at Came House last year, and can honestly say she is one fantastic woman and the best wedding planner we could have hoped for. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We had our PERFECT wedding at Moonacre in August 2024 and highly recommend!! The venue was beyond magical and suited us perfectly. The planning process was super smooth and we never had any issues at all with Moonacre. Great for: outdoor ceremony, beautiful trees and outdoor space, onsite accomodation, lots of space, flexible entertainment, choose your own catering (really rare in this area for wedding venues!!), relaxed vibe, child-friendly, lots of decoration included, straightforward pricing with no hidden extras, wedding coordinator included, fire pit, whimsical wedding photos surrounded by nature (credit to Tegan Maccann who we absolutely loved :D), bar and bar staff provided/included (drinks packages to choose from and create your own) Not for you if you want: Lots of space for a big bridal party to get ready onsite, winter wedding (it's closed!), bring your own bar Long version: Hayley and Dominic were helpful, friendly, professional and above all flexible. The marquee is really nice and very large, and has enough decor already that we actually didn't spend anything on additional decor for the marquee as we didn't have a formal table set-up. We had an outdoor ceremony with both live and recorded music (they had enough sound equipment to suit our needs!), a relaxed family-friendly BBQ with mixture of indoor and outdoor seating (no seating plan) and lots of garden games and ping pong (hired from Simply Flower - also recommend). We had loads of young kids there and they had a brilliant time running around and there was none of the stress for parents of a formal indoor venue or sit-down meal. After the meal we gathered everyone round the fire pit for our speeches which was magical and made for some lovely photos as everyone was standing grouped together! We had family and friends stay in the onsite glamping accommodation and loads of friend took up the camping option which was a nice surprise - eating bacon sandwiches from a friend's camper van sat round with all the campers the next morning was a lovely moment, as was sitting out by the fire-pit with the final guests at 1am and seeing a shooting star. It was amazing to have a free-flowing wedding day with multiple different spaces for people to mingle and relax or dance to the band, a lot of guests have said it's one of the best wedding venues they have been to :) We got a great discount on the venue hire for booking "short notice" (booking in January for August same year). Such a beautiful place. Went camping and the field was secluded, surrounded by trees and pine forest. Great views all around. Very peaceful quiet and well maintained. Not too many camping pitches. There is a nice covered area with seats and also a fridge, plus place to burn open fires. Nice powerful shower and clean toilets. Owners are really friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

This is our 3rd time staying, we love this place! We've attended an amazing wedding here, stayed in Monty the motorhome, Bertie the Bus and Dan the van. Each has had everything we need for a short break away. Showers are hot, accommodation and toilets are clean. It's so peaceful and perfect for the kids to safely explore and see wildlife. Also a good base to explore local attractions like monkey world, the tank museum and Beaulieu museum. Dominic and Rachel are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be returning again
