We first found The Orangery Suite within the few days after we got engaged in Mauritius. We emailed Becky whilst we were still abroad and viewed the venue the week after we got back to the UK and the venue looked amazing, even in the British rain! We looked at one other venue, just to say we had compared it to another place, but we knew instantly that it was the perfect venue for us. We are active people and can get bored easily, so all of the games and activities really appealed to us, along with the beautiful grounds! Becky, Scott and Louise have done the best job since taking over the venue and have really refreshed the look, including refurbishing inside the orangery suite and the outside bathrooms. Everything looked great on the day and it ran so smoothly, thanks to all of their efforts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they helped answer and resolve any questions I had. All of our guests have commented on how perfect the venue was and what a good find it was. They all enjoyed playing all of the games, especially the mini golf, badminton, table football and basketball net! They were also so welcoming of our 2 dogs, Ted and Alfie, who also really enjoyed the day being ring bearers. There were no restrictions on how long they could stay or where they could go and it was so nice to know they were just as welcome as all of the humans! It really was the best day ever and we are so grateful to The Orangery Suite!

I have no words other than above and beyond. My husband and I Loved our wedding reception at the orangery suite. The staff and team were amazing, friendly and so thoughtful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

We recently booked the orangery suite for our daughters first birthday and it was a beautiful day in a stunning venue! Accommodated a large number of people as well as ticking all the boxes for amenities. A very big thank you to Louise, Becky and Scott who went above and beyond for us and our guests and really made the day one of a kind, special and memorable! Highly recommended!

We thought we were just looking for wicker thrones, but instead found Claire, who transformed our visions into a more beautiful reality than we could have ever expected. Claire went above and beyond to help us curate our day and we cannot thank her enough. The props are beautiful and Claire styled them perfectly, she even went out of her way to help us set up the venue and add the final perfect touches. We are so pleased to have found Own your Throne, we cannot recommend the company and Claire enough.

We were super lucky to have won a competition on Instagram to use the 'Lush Botanical Backdrop' at our wedding. It was really beautiful and worked perfectly as the focal point in our ceremony and then later as a photobooth backdrop. I didn’t think planning a wedding abroad could be so easy! I can’t recommend and thank you enough - Deborah was amazing, even with my probably sometimes silly questions I’d ask late in the evenings, she was always so happy and quick to reply! And the coordinator on the day of the wedding at the venue was just as amazing, so attentive and made the day flow effortlessly. We had the most perfect and couldn’t have asked for anything more 💕

Deborah and the team made planning our wedding in Portugal seamless. Everything was very well organised from the choices of vendors and recommended timings of their booking to the payment schedule and I didn’t feel stressed once during the process. Deborah was always available to answer questions even during evenings and weekends which was very much appreciated! Our day couldn’t have been any better, Carla made sure everything ran perfectly smoothly and lots of our guests commented on this. Gemma was such a great help for our wedding. We chose to do a very much DIY wedding which meant there was alot to organsie so Gemma was extremely helpful in terms of giving advice and sharing excellent suppliers for our wedding. We had regular catch ups and she was so helpful in regards to putting a schedule together for the day and letting me know what would work best, as this was something I found quite overwhelming to do myself. She was then there for the weekend, popping in to help with set up and discuss the next day, and helping making decisions I was being indecisive over! On the day she was fab, I was so pleased to have her there, she knew the venue really well which made life much easier. She was fab!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. We used Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding at Abbots Court and couldn’t have been happier with the service provided! From the first visit to the styling barn with Dawn right up until the wedding day itself and after the event, Dawn was on hand to help with any questions we had. We opted to set the venue decorations up ourselves the day prior to the wedding and this was made so easy as the beautiful arches were set up for us and the rest of the items we ordered came in extremely organised boxes which saved a lot of time. Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

Truly magical is the only words I can use to describe our wedding decor. I had a vision in mind and put all my trust in "a touch of class". I actually changed venues just so I could use them and I'm so glad I did. From the first message right until the day communication was prompt and informative and the day itself just blew us away ! The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

Katie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish with helping us plan and pull off our wedding day. She was always there if we had any questions or needed any advice during the planning stages. The styling on the actual day itself was amazing. Flowers and decorations were stunning and Katie always found clever ways to move and re-use the flowers etc to enhance every stage of the day without being wasteful! Having her coordinating on the day was so helpful, it meant we didn't have to worry about everything else going on and we could focus on getting ready and getting married! Wow, Ellie!! I first enjoyed one of Ellie's ceremony as a guest at a friend's wedding. Her energy, enthusiasm, wit, story telling and care and affection made the ceremony a truly special and memorable time. It was an easy choice when it came to my own wedding who should be our celebrant. Ellie, once again blew the guests away with a ceremony exactly as we wanted - laidback and relaxed but to make every guest fell and play a part. Noone expected to be proper belly laughing throughout and everyone said they've never been to a ceremony like it, but it was they'd been to! Ellie listened to what we thought we wanted and guided us with great ideas and was better than we could have ever imagined. Eternally grateful for making our ceremony so memorable to us and all our guests ❤️

Ellie created and delivered our Handfasting Marriage Ceremony. I cannot rate her highly enough. She first offered a couple of consultations to get to know us, our story and find out what we wanted from the ceremony. From the offset Ellie was very easy to talk to. She is also incredibly intuitive, so this made the ‘script forming’ stage very easy. She even picked up on subtleties from the ways in which we interacted during our consultations to perfectly represent us as a couple within the ceremony speech. On the wedding day Ellie was super helpful with practical (and emotional) tasks. Her warm and calm approach certainly made my groom feel at ease while he waited! We have had so many glowing reviews from our guests with regards to Ellie and the ceremony. Some family members who are quite religious even said that this was the best wedding they had been to, and that the ceremony was surprisingly inclusive and interesting. I attended a beautiful Wedding Handfasting Celebration facilitated by Ellie in December 2021 for some dear friends of mine. Ellie was exceptional. She was engaging, genuine, calm and welcoming to everyone. As a facilitator she was inspiring and I felt honoured to be present. I have attended several of the Women’s Circles that Ellie has hosted. They have been beautiful, awe inspiring, safe and powerful. Ellie creates the most incredible space, where women can just be. Well to start off, this is the easiest 5 starts that I ever gave in a review. If I could give 20, i would!! We got married at the most incredible, stunning & unique wedding venue that is Axnoller House at the beginning of July and have wished every day since that we could rewind and go back. From when we first stumbled across the venue online last year and arranged to visit one sunny August afternoon, we absolutely fell in love. I could never describe the feeling in our tummies that we had as we looked round the place that day, we knew it was the place where we wanted to hold the most important day of our lives. We were met by Alo the owner who is the most charming, glamorous and lovely lady you will ever meet. She instantly oozed passion and enthusiasm for weddings at Axnoller! She showed us round the entire place letting us take as much time as we needed to ask our one million questions and take all the photos we wanted. She explained that the opportunities and possible arrangements are endless! Axnoller is the incredible stunning setting, and you can make your day exactly how you want it and they will help you organise it all! In the 11 months planning, the team were in constant contact, every week, politely reminding you and letting you know that there are decisions to be made, things need to be ordered etc. etc. - it was like having a wedding planning service for no extra cost! At the same time though, we were left to our own devices, getting in some suppliers they hadn't had before e.g. a pizza van! which some venues can be funny about as they only want to use their own list of contacts. Not a problem at all for Axnoller though! Alo was also fantastic with recommendations for us - they have an entire supplier list they share with you. Alo's incredible taste shown in how she has created Axnoller meant that we knew any recommendation she had would be excellent. We booked immediately her recommendations of string quartet, cake maker, videographer & florist (to name just a few) which saved us trawling the internet aimlessly. Needless to say, they were all fantastic and we couldn't have been happier with their work. When our special weekend finally came round, we couldn't have had a better 3 days. Friday night we had a paella cooked by Gordie the in-house head chef which was excellent! We hired long wooden tables from Virginia's vintage hire (another recommendation) and the Axnoller team set them up in Burgraff garden which was an amazing evening and the best start to our weekend! Everyone was buzzing! Waking up in Axnoller house on the wedding morning was a dream. Our entire day ran like clock work, thanks to Alo & her main event coordinator Tracey who was extremely organised, warm & lovely - we knew when we first met her that she knew exactly what she was doing! I felt so relaxed, care-free and just knew that they had everything under control - exactly how I wanted to feel! We were extremely lucky with the sunshine which pretty much shone all weekend for us as a real bonus. Our ceremony was stunning and unique at the front of Axnoller house - our guests were absolutely wowed by the entire place, saying it feels like somewhere in the South of France! The Sunday was another incredible day for us, the team set us up in the marquee for a BBQ cooked by Gordie and his fab team, Alo took extra care to re-use all of the flowers from the day making the set-up look amazing! We really appreciated that. If you are looking for an incredible venue that is yours for the weekend, ran by amazing people who care so much and provide excellent personable service with care & attention to detail to make your day exactly as you want it, then book Axnoller! You won't be disappointed and will cherish your Axnoller memories for years to come, maybe even booking in another visit - we can't wait for ours already! We can't thank Alo enough for the best weekend of our lives. I can't recommend this venue highly enough!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at Axnoller. Absolutely everyone that came was blown away with the beautiful venue, accommodation and the views. We had our classy but relaxed and personal wedding on the Saturday and then had a fun fancy dress party day on the Sunday. We had the time of our lives and every need was met. We were incredibly impressed by all the employees as they were professional and respectful. We can't wait to go back with our friends and family for a holiday to enjoy what all the accommodation has to offer. Thank you to all the Axnoller team for giving us the best wedding ever!
