When my husband and I initially met with Georgia at MatthewOliver Weddings, there was an instant connection. After a few weeks of initial planning, we had some unforseen circumstances arise and had to stop with proceeding on our planning. When we were ready to resume the wedding plans, Georgia was able to work us back into her schedule. We spent the next year and half planning our dream European adventure. Georgia was the perfect planner for us. She took all of our initial requirements (location, airport proximity, historical property, handicap accessibility) and found the perfect venue. Georgia managed every detail and vendor throughout the entire process, culminating in the best weekend of our lives. From sourcing local Flamanco dancers for the welcome party, to scheduling and planning site visits and tastings, to the carefully thoughout stationary, Georgia and the Matthew Oliver team took care of everything to insure that we had the best time with our guests. We cannot thank Georgia and the team enough for providing us with a weekend full of laughs, friendships, and memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.

The strength of the Matthew Oliver team is their relationships, which when it comes to weddings, is one of the most important qualities for a wedding planner. Because of their close ties with everyone in the industry, we were able to pull off an incredible destination wedding with ease and in budget. They were extremely resourceful when it came to all of our wild requests— they found a way each time to execute our vision. Lastly, what you find is that you spend most of your time with your wedding planners and vendors during the wedding and planning process. You definitely want to like these people during such an important moment. We are lucky to still call Matthew, Bertie and team our friends and they will definitely be in our lives forever!

My Husband and I had a bit of a chaotic start to wedding planning, starting without a wedding planner we booked a venue that fell through and were totally in over our heads. Then my TikTok algorithm presented me with Georgia, and I'm so glad it did. After Georgia scoured three different countries (for months), we then decided to have the wedding five minutes away from our home in Scotland- she didn't show one ounce of frustration. Admittedly, we were worried this was a bit less glamorous than the venues the MO team were used to but Georgia's priority is for her clients to have the wedding that is perfect for them. Not only did she save the day, in the end she planned something that felt so intimate, personal and perfect for us. Georgia worked seamlessly with all of our vendors throughout the planning process, kept us on track with what we needed to be doing and was there to lend an ear if we ever felt overwhelmed. On the weekend of the wedding Georgia and her team (Bertie and Danny) were everywhere at once, they ensured the whole weekend ran exactly to plan. They worked tirelessly, but with smiling faces, they didn't show it. They are all brilliant and there wasn't a single guest who didn't mention how fantastic they were. The ability to plan an event down to such fine detail and yet maintain a sense of complete calm is a skill that should not be undervalued. Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. Lovely property with the vineyards literally "touching" the tasting room, magnificent views. Matched by a knowledgeable and charming host serving some exceptionally well made sparkling wines. The range of styles is precise with each having character and pose. September Vineyard Wedding. We first discovered the vineyard coming to a tasting day and were blown away with how beautiful it was and the incredible taste of the sparkling wine! We approached Andrew about having our wedding there and he told us he was renovating the vineyard barn so we could chose between the barn or a marquee wedding. We were extremely honoured to be the first legal ceremony at the vineyard, holding our ceremony outside underneath the beautiful oak tree. We chose the barn for our reception and evening dancing. The whole setting was absolutely beautiful, including the courtyard that guests enjoyed for our horse box bar and evening fresh air. Our whole day was an absolute dream, we’re so unbelievably lucky with our wedding photos as the vineyard is the most beautiful backdrop. Andrew and Sarah were present all day, showing guests where to park, taking photos, showing guests around and being wonderful hosts. We visited the venue multiple times before our wedding to make decisions and Andrew was always there to greet us with a glass of bubbles. On the day we ran through the order of events, Andrew prepared us and our caterers lots of snacks and nibbles to meet our vegan dietary requirements. Every small detail was considered and we felt very looked after. We can’t thank Andrew, Sarah & Melanie enough and would recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate venue. Tom & Murray were absolutely fantastic! From the initial consultation to get our quote, Tom instantly reassured me that we were going to adore their style and service, as his friendly nature shone through. Nothing was too much trouble at any point. We had an amazing engagement shoot where Tom calmed our nerves and really helped us be comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day, they were a blessing. Ready to jump right in with ties and button holes or making breakfast, they really kept the day together and running smoothly!! Each and every one of our guests were full of praise for them and adored their laid back photography style that wasn't invasive. Not only do we adore their photos of us (sneak peak has got us so excited for the next instalment!!!), their personalities are also a massive reason why they should be your choice of photographer. We will be singing their praises and recommending them forever more!

Murray and Tom are amazing! We absolutely loved getting to know them and having them as part of our wedding day. They were professional and friendly and felt more like guests by the end of the day! We also had an engagement shoot with them, which was really wonderful and helped us to feel at ease. We really love the photographs, they capture the day perfectly and were just as we had wanted - casual and relaxed, really capturing the mood of the day! The presentation box and mini album that we received were a really lovely touch. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, they are really really lovely guys, and a real laugh, they put us at ease from the start and we are usually quite camera shy! We are so so happy we went with Tom and Murray for our wedding photographs. They were friendly, easy going, flexible and helped out with literally everything (whether that was helping the groom with this tie or fiddly buttons on the wedding dress)! They exceeded our expectations and made us so relaxed. As the groom is not a natural in front of the camera, they made sure to take the shots in a way that allowed him to relax and have fun with it. It was like hanging out with friends when we had our couple shots and then during the reception they seamlessly assimilated with the guests and popped up as and when we needed them. I love all the photographs and I only wish I had more!! All our family and friends raved about the photos and just said they perfectly captured the essence of our wedding day. I would highly recommend Tom and Murray to anyone getting married - I couldn't fault them!!

I cannot emphasise enough how fantastic Tom and Murray were in capturing our wedding day. From the first day we met them through to completion of our wedding album, we were so chuffed with everything they did for us. We booked them before covid and our wedding was sadly postponed several times due to the pandemic, but they were so accommodating and helpful throughout. It was so important to us to have photographers that made us feel comfortable as they would be with us for almost the entire day and they did just that. Two genuinely lovely gents that felt like friends by the end. Having two photographers made such a difference as we were able to capture the most memorable shots from several angles without even knowing where they were half the time! And it meant that both bride and groom got some great shots during the morning prep. I would highly recommend you book one thousand words photography for your wedding. We will always be grateful for their ability to capture the classic shots whilst throwing in a bit of humour along the way.

Incredible, stunning wedding flowers! Jessie simply made our wedding with her incredible flowers. Whilst we had an idea of what colour and style we wanted, Jessie met with me ahead of the wedding where we discussed all things flowers over a coffee. Jessie has an eye for detail and considers every aspect of your wedding flowers. Her unbelievable knowledge of flowers, natural gift of knowing what combinations work well together and impeccable professionalism makes her the dream florist. The flowers stole the show both on the day where so many of our guests commented on the variety, vibrancy and style of our displays but also in our wedding photos. You can absolutely trust Jessie to do an incredible job with your wedding flowers and put in 110%. You can really tell that she loves what she does and cares about making your flowers the best they can be on the day and this all shows in the end result.

Our Wedding Flowers were out of this World! We met Jessie before the wedding to talk through ideas and colours and came away feeling confident that she understood what we wanted. Oh my goodness, when I saw the flowers on our wedding day, I was completely overwhelmed, they were beautiful and exceeded all expectations. My bouquet was exquisite. In fact, ALL our flowers were absolutely stunning. Jessie had worked real magic in her workshop with the bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, hair combs and flowers for the cake. Then we arrive at the venue! The floral spray for the ceremony / top table and the goblets were glorious explosions of pinks, with other subtle touches that we had talked about. A true work of art. Jessie you are an amazing florist and were wonderful to work with. If you are a Bride looking for a wedding florist, I would wholly recommend Jessie and West Dorset Wedding Flowers.

Jessie was incredible! I have zero idea about flowers and this was one of the tricky parts of planning the wedding but Jessie made it so much easier and enjoyable. She was always helpful and patient when I needed to make changes and ask millions of questions. She has amazing taste and got our style so perfectly so I could trust her advice and expertise. Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. We had the perfect wedding at Axnoller in June 2017. From the moment we saw it in a magazine we knew we had to choose it. We came to see it about 18 months before the wedding and were blown away by the attention to detail in each house and how focused Alo and Tracy were on delivering the best wedding possible. In the months leading up to the big weekend we met more of the team, including the greatest chef of all time, Gordie, and continued to be cared for in the best way. It may have rained on our big day but the team couldn't have been kinder, making sure that we didn't get too down! The houses were all fantastic and the hot tubs were a particular treat. We had a BBQ on the Friday night and again the Axnoller team could not have been more helpful. The mixture of Alo's fantastic style and Tracy's care, consideration and precision to make sure the day goes amazingly was hugely appreciated. Whether you are having a wedding, a celebration or just a weekend away in any or all of the stunning houses, rest assured you are in for a weekend that you will never forget. Amazing. Thank you!!!

Well to start off, this is the easiest 5 starts that I ever gave in a review. If I could give 20, i would!! We got married at the most incredible, stunning & unique wedding venue that is Axnoller House at the beginning of July and have wished every day since that we could rewind and go back. From when we first stumbled across the venue online last year and arranged to visit one sunny August afternoon, we absolutely fell in love. I could never describe the feeling in our tummies that we had as we looked round the place that day, we knew it was the place where we wanted to hold the most important day of our lives. We were met by Alo the owner who is the most charming, glamorous and lovely lady you will ever meet. She instantly oozed passion and enthusiasm for weddings at Axnoller! She showed us round the entire place letting us take as much time as we needed to ask our one million questions and take all the photos we wanted. She explained that the opportunities and possible arrangements are endless! Axnoller is the incredible stunning setting, and you can make your day exactly how you want it and they will help you organise it all! In the 11 months planning, the team were in constant contact, every week, politely reminding you and letting you know that there are decisions to be made, things need to be ordered etc. etc. - it was like having a wedding planning service for no extra cost! At the same time though, we were left to our own devices, getting in some suppliers they hadn't had before e.g. a pizza van! which some venues can be funny about as they only want to use their own list of contacts. Not a problem at all for Axnoller though! Alo was also fantastic with recommendations for us - they have an entire supplier list they share with you. Alo's incredible taste shown in how she has created Axnoller meant that we knew any recommendation she had would be excellent. We booked immediately her recommendations of string quartet, cake maker, videographer & florist (to name just a few) which saved us trawling the internet aimlessly. Needless to say, they were all fantastic and we couldn't have been happier with their work. When our special weekend finally came round, we couldn't have had a better 3 days. Friday night we had a paella cooked by Gordie the in-house head chef which was excellent! We hired long wooden tables from Virginia's vintage hire (another recommendation) and the Axnoller team set them up in Burgraff garden which was an amazing evening and the best start to our weekend! Everyone was buzzing! Waking up in Axnoller house on the wedding morning was a dream. Our entire day ran like clock work, thanks to Alo & her main event coordinator Tracey who was extremely organised, warm & lovely - we knew when we first met her that she knew exactly what she was doing! I felt so relaxed, care-free and just knew that they had everything under control - exactly how I wanted to feel! We were extremely lucky with the sunshine which pretty much shone all weekend for us as a real bonus. Our ceremony was stunning and unique at the front of Axnoller house - our guests were absolutely wowed by the entire place, saying it feels like somewhere in the South of France! The Sunday was another incredible day for us, the team set us up in the marquee for a BBQ cooked by Gordie and his fab team, Alo took extra care to re-use all of the flowers from the day making the set-up look amazing! We really appreciated that. If you are looking for an incredible venue that is yours for the weekend, ran by amazing people who care so much and provide excellent personable service with care & attention to detail to make your day exactly as you want it, then book Axnoller! You won't be disappointed and will cherish your Axnoller memories for years to come, maybe even booking in another visit - we can't wait for ours already! We can't thank Alo enough for the best weekend of our lives. I can't recommend this venue highly enough!

We can not get enough of this venue!!! All our bands love playing here, it is such a great space for live music! iPop & Girls International performed here once again at the weekend and the atmosphere was electric!!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at Axnoller. Absolutely everyone that came was blown away with the beautiful venue, accommodation and the views. We had our classy but relaxed and personal wedding on the Saturday and then had a fun fancy dress party day on the Sunday. We had the time of our lives and every need was met. We were incredibly impressed by all the employees as they were professional and respectful. We can't wait to go back with our friends and family for a holiday to enjoy what all the accommodation has to offer. Thank you to all the Axnoller team for giving us the best wedding ever!

Ashley Wood Farm is just the most phenomenal place. We rearranged our wedding 6 times during the pandemic so we could get married here. It did not disappoint. Bee and Ralph were wonderful and supported us throughout the whole journey. We finally got married in July a few weeks ago and thanks to them, we had the most incredible day. The gardens were stunning, the atmosphere was amazing and we could not have asked for a better place to get married. We stayed in the lodge for one night after the wedding which was perfect too.
