What a lovely little pub. Food was amazing and large portions. Staff were really lovely and accommodating. We loved our visit to this New Forest pub where the donkeys seem to live right outside the pub !

Was staying close by and passed this place many times. Decided to go for a meal at the end of our holiday. Beautiful setting and ample free car park, but watch out for potholes. Fabulous friendly service and gorgeous food. I had the pulled braided brisket cottage pie with horseradish mash and plenty of vegetables. It was delicious. My partner enjoyed steak pie with loads of prefectly cooked vegetables and lashings of tasty gravy. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wished we'd visited at the start of our holiday so that we could have returned to sample more from the menu. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and already looking forward to going again when we holiday in the area at the end of the year. 10/10 from us.

Really lovely home cooked food in huge portions sizes! We weren't sure what to expect given this was the only pub within walking distance, but honestly they must have a very good home cook in that kitchen. Service was great too, and very friendly. Highly recommend!
