Booked here for my mums birthday meal. 9 of us in total. Plenty of room for all of us. Proper pub food which is perfect. Good kids menu. Good size portions. Staff were very welcoming and happy 😊 excellent service. Spent about 3 hrs here. Whole family was happy and that's hard to manage with so many of us
Pleasant place for Sunday lunch and not expensive. However the meat serving in the roast is very thinly sliced and the portion of veg for two was small and limited. I’d say it was suitable for older folk but this should not be confused with a carvery so if you’ve got a hearty appetite, this might not fill your hole. Having said that, it was reasonably priced and the service was good with helpful and pleasant servers.
Staff polite & friendly, give you time to order,attentive and you don't feel rushed to finish and leave, price less than £8 for a small roast (excellent value for money)
