Have spent may Happy hours here. The surrounding grounds are so peaceful and refreshing to be outdoors even with children visiting for there camps/residential is nice to walk around and listen to the laughter. The main house has a very rich history dating back to a tudor hunting lodge, and the Gold Room is a key centre piece. It was recently purchased by Foxies Future a Charity who aim to keep it open for Children and the wider community to enjoy the outdoors. They will be opening hopefully in February 2025 so get booking.

Very enjoyable day exploring the house and grounds and finding out about the girl guiding history surrounding Foxlease. Wanted to visit before it is sold. Hopefully, it will be renovated and offered to the public and guiding as an activity centre for all to enjoy for years to come. So many amazing opportunities for young people.

A Guiding activity centre that also rents accommodation and pitches to non-guiding visitors. We stayed in the bell tent village. As well as our tent, we had altar fires and a shelter including storage, toilets and showers. Lots of activities available on site and good road links to the New Forest area. Not well publicised, which may be one of the reasons guiding want to sell it, although there is a strong movement among grass roots members of guiding to try and prevent this.

We camped on the site for 4 nights! It was very peaceful and quiet! We know it's possibly not going to be in guiding hands for much longer as that is a real shame! So many on site activities that you can book and a short walk into the local village! Please keep it Girl Guides!
