We first visted the venue just under a year ago and were blown away by the gorgeous views, chilled atmosphere and the mix of contemporary/rustic charm. Luckily we were able to secure the last available date in 2023 and it certainly lived up to our expectations! We celebrated our wedding at Hope Farm last weekend and had the most fabulous day. Sue and the team were welcoming and attentive, whilst also giving you the space and freedom to decorate and enjoy the venue as you pleased throughout the weekend. The facilities are beautifully finished and we had countless compliments from guests who particularly enjoyed the different areas on the farm to explore in between the main events of the day and not just being stuck inside a stiff hotel/venue.The alpacas and baby goats were a massive hit with our guests - the perfect photobomb for our gorgeous pictures! A beautiful venue with treasured memories, we hope to one day come back as guests or maybe to celebrate an anniversary! Can't recommend it enough x

We will never forget Hope Farm for making us feel so special, and for making our wedding celebration extra special too. When we first met Sue, we knew that Hope Farm was the venue we wanted to get married in. The animals, the landscape and the warm welcome we received told us that we simply had to get married here. Sue and the team at Hope Farm covered every corner in helping us plan the day and made us feel like we had their absolute support all the way through whenever we had questions, throughout the planning stages, the night before and on the day. We feel so lucky to have come across Hope Farm for our wedding, and to have been able to have our wedding here. Our guests said it matched our personalities perfectly, as we personalised the day with help from the Hope Farm team. It even inspired our friends to make the move on their partners too due to the romantic and relaxed setting of the whole event! Having had our wedding there last weekend (31st August) I can honestly say that this is BY FAR the best venue around. Sue, Nigel, Matt and Georgia worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly alongside our caterers. Nothing was too much of an ask. Wonderful venue, beautiful decor already in place and really not needing much additional decor to be provided by ourselves, it was the most perfect day.

Gorwell Farm was where we chose to have our wedding this summer, and we could not have chosen a more perfect location for our special day. The cottages are spacious and comfortable for the morning-of preparation, and the barn and surrounding grounds are just idyllic. It really was the perfect space for our wedding. Mary and the team were great in the run-up to the wedding and on the day. It meant we didn't have anything to worry about. Also a shout out to the bar staff who were absolutely fantastic!

We chose Gorwell for our wedding in July 2024, booking two years prior. Mary and the Team are fantastic, you can really tell that they want your big day to be a success. Mary was full of recommendations for vendors, which was amazing as it can definitely feel overwhelming. Throughout the communication was fantastic and there was no such thing as a silly question. Gorwell Farm hosted our wedding (and accommodation) and was excellent from beginning to end. It’s. A beautiful, rustic venue but has been fully modernised and updated with all conveniences for a wedding whilst still retaining the rustic feel. All queries were addressed quickly and we couldn’t imagine it being any better.

Went to a wedding reception here. Wow what a beautiful place Hiden out of the way. Really lovely venue. Drinks were very well priced at the bar. Amazing settings for an all in one wedding day. Camping facilities available but didn't use these.

My husband and I were privileged to work with Danielle at Bellissimo for our wedding last year. It was an honour to have Danielle supporting us in the run up to, and on the day of our wedding. We worked with Melanie for our wedding at Came House last year, and can honestly say she is one fantastic woman and the best wedding planner we could have hoped for. She is so experienced and organised, gave great advice throughout whilst listening to all our ideas. Her knowledge of the area and suppliers (as well as all her hard work) really helped to bring our vision to life. This was no easy feat as we had quite a few parts to fit into the weekend, but Melanie made it work! We had the most incredible weekend of our lives and we couldn’t have done it without Melanie, Bellissimo and the team at Came House.

Danielle was the venue manager and planner extraordinaire for our wedding at the English Oak Vineyard this summer, she did such a wonderful job at ensuring everything was well coordinated and thought through, gave great advice and honestly went above and beyond to make sure that our day went perfectly. We are beyond grateful to Melanie for the incredible work and dedication she put into planning our wedding at Came House earlier this year. From our introductory call until our wedding, Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Melanie’s attention to detail is unmatched. To give one of many examples: without request from us, Melanie remembered my sensitivity to mosquito bites from an earlier conversation and arranged mosquito plugs to be placed in the bridal suite. This small but incredibly thoughtful touch meant so much. It’s this thoughtfulness and pre-empting of potential issues that really sets Melanie apart. Melanie always responded promptly to our questions/emails, often late at night or over weekends. She was incredibly patient and always put us at ease. We feel very lucky to have had Melanie and the Came House team for our wedding. Thanks to their hard work and care, we were able to enjoy the day without stressing about the details. Nicky was amazing, responded to any questions very promptly, the arch and the barrels were brilliant and really set the tone to the wedding. Drop off and collection all was brilliant too, highly recommended

Nicky was so helpful! I had a vague idea about what I wanted, and she sent me a ton of ideas from her warehouse (even more than what's listed on the website). The prices are super affordable and her customer service is top notch! I'd highly recommend!

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.

We hired Winterborne Hire & Styling for our wedding in July and honestly it was the easiest, best decision we made for our big day! Dawn was so helpful and understood our vision the entire process. She really listened and ordered in pieces we needed to really bring our colour scheme and vision to light. I can’t recommend them enough!

Winterborne were absolutely brilliant and so helpful throughout our wedding journey. They decorated our ladders with faux plants, and the results were stunning—the photos speak for themselves. We received so many compliments, and you honestly couldn’t tell the plants were artificial. In the lead-up, the team was incredibly supportive. They ensured everything was set up quickly, allowing us to move on with the rest of the decorations without feeling rushed. They even offered additional staff to help with other decorative elements, which was such a kind gesture. We just can’t recommend Winterborne enough!

Absolutely fantastic job from Winterborne Hire & Styling! We rented some beautiful table decorations and flower pillars that complimented our wedding venue perfectly.They have a great range of items in their showroom and Dawn was so helpful and patient in taking through what items to choose. They are very professional and coordinated directly with the venue and had a delivery option making it seamless and efficient (one less thing for me to worry about!). Highly recommend :)

Winterborne Hire and Styling were incredible at making our day extra special. I visited their lovely show room a few months prior to our wedding. After discussing what we needed, they produced some spectacular arrangements to suit the theme for our wedding and to match our fresh flowers. They delivered them on time and installed them ready for the big day, so we did not need to lift a finger. We are so glad we went with them as the arrangements really elevated our ceremony area. We have worked with Rosie on events including our own open weekends and she is an absolute joy to work with. She is great at organising people, extremely friendly and approachable. Not only is she creative but she is able to take your ideas and turn them into something truly spectacular. We recommend Rosie to all our clients and look forward to working with her lots more in the future. If I was getting married again (which I am not planning on) I would hire Rosie immediately!

Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We have collaborated with Rosie on several events to date with our bell tent and luxury loo hire; she is a joy to work with and consistently creative. We hired Abbots Court for the weekend for an extended staff Xmas party. Incredible venue, that I’ve been to for several weddings. All the team loved it, beautiful house and location. The outside caterers were fantastic. Great cocktail barman provided. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether a corporate weekend away, friends or a wedding.

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. I didn’t think planning a wedding abroad could be so easy! I can’t recommend and thank you enough - Deborah was amazing, even with my probably sometimes silly questions I’d ask late in the evenings, she was always so happy and quick to reply! And the coordinator on the day of the wedding at the venue was just as amazing, so attentive and made the day flow effortlessly. We had the most perfect and couldn’t have asked for anything more 💕

Gemma was such a great help for our wedding. We chose to do a very much DIY wedding which meant there was alot to organsie so Gemma was extremely helpful in terms of giving advice and sharing excellent suppliers for our wedding. We had regular catch ups and she was so helpful in regards to putting a schedule together for the day and letting me know what would work best, as this was something I found quite overwhelming to do myself. She was then there for the weekend, popping in to help with set up and discuss the next day, and helping making decisions I was being indecisive over! On the day she was fab, I was so pleased to have her there, she knew the venue really well which made life much easier. She was fab!

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love the location and the accommodation. It lacked a few kitchen essentials as we do like to cook and eat in but the rest of the cottage is very comfortable with a lovely wildflower meadow just outside. Owners very helpful, friendly and love dogs. The footpaths from Marshwood Manor are a bit overgrown but there are beautiful walks all around the area. We will definitely go again.

Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. The cottages make for a lovely place for family/wedding party to stay and get ready on the day. My only comment is the cottage kitchens could do with a bit more kitchen utensils/plates/basic necessities etc, we didn't have enough knives and forks on the Hayloft for the people staying there

A lovely holiday home. We stayed in the Hayloft and had a great time. The owners are close by and very helpful, and their dogs were equally lovely. We were 7 adults and 3 kids. The play areas were good and the children spent a lot of time outside. The lovely kitchen table meant we spent a lot of time together which was good.
