We’ve been working with Shelley to get our rescue dog in the door after bad associations built up at our last vet. Today, Trixie happily let Shelley cut her rear dew claws and I am over the moon with how far she’s come after around 5 visits. The confidence clinic is an amazing service that all vets should have and the response to our little bag of nerves is in stark contrast to other vets!

I can't recommend Mildmay Veterinary Hospital highly enough! Every vet and nurse we've encountered has been exceptionally friendly, attentive, and caring toward my dog, Momo, putting both of us at ease with their gentle approach. The reception staff are wonderfully sincere and responsive, always quick to assist with inquiries and make bookings convenient and stress-free. Each visit has been a positive experience, and I truly appreciate the warm, professional environment they maintain. Knowing Momo is in such capable and compassionate hands gives me great peace of mind. Thank you all for your outstanding care!

I was not registered with Mildmay when my dog started having a heart attack aged 15years- my own vet in fairoak didn’t pick up their emergency number and then became engaged- I phoned Mildmay and they couldn’t have been more supportive- the nurse on the phone was so kind and reassuring and the care I received as they had to put him down was the best I have ever had- he is the 8th dog I have owned. Can’t praise this team enough and will register my next dog with them when I am ready to get one.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of Bella, our forever loved cat. Bless her, she was very sick. All of you we have met and talked to at Mildmay, were so friendly and kind, very professional and understanding. If we ever have a pet again, we will definitely choose you as our vet x

Excellent Veterinary Practice, wonderful staff. Clear pricing, very caring & popular vets. Having used a few practices over the years in the Andover Area this is our Vet of Choice.

Sadly my African Grey who was 31 suddenly was very ill, so I took him to a local vet in Portsmouth. They rated this place and we drove all the way from Portsmouth. We came in at reception not having an appointment and they took him straight away to be looked at urgently. The vets who we spoked to and dealt with, were respectful, professional, polite and gave a clear and honest overview of his condition. Sadly it was a very sad day by saying good bye to my mate. But I know you guys tried your very best to save him and he was in safe hands for the last couple of hours of his life and I want to thank you for this.

It’s with a broken heart we lost our rabbit Hagrid last month at 2.5 years old. He had been a poorly rabbit since birth and Antons never failed to find us an emergency appointment and always gave fantastic care. Hagrid had two long admissions with his heat tilt and stasis with multiple surgeries including ear flushes and dentals. The team at Antons always kept us up to date on his progress and recommended the best course of action. There are no words I can find to thank the fabulous team at Antons enough in helping us keep our Hagrid for as long as possible. Thank you.

CC Winchester acted with the upmost care & dedication which was major surgery for my dog. Very lucky to have them as a vet. Highly recommend them.

The reception staff and the vets are so lovely and incredible! Fit me in on the same day with my puppy when I had a concern and are always so welcoming. My puppy absolutely loves it there and all the attention he gets from the girls! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Reasonably priced too compared to other vets 😁

I should have given an excellent review for Stable Close Vets years ago! They have given consistent outstanding care for two of our dogs. Colin saved our dog a couple of years ago and spotted that he had bloat/twisted bowel which is fatal if not treated immediately. More recently our dog had a cyst removed and the vets carried out a full check up on the dog at the same time. We have always found this family-run vet to be professional and friendly providing a very high standard of care and value for money.

Becky is unbelievably good vet, great attitude, super professional and adapted to my dog’s character. Would thoroughly recommend Becky and therefore Stable Close.

I had an excellent experience with this vets. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative throughout the entire process. The vet who tended to Koko was exceptionally kind and gentle. He handled her with great care and made sure she felt comfortable and at ease. It is evident that Koko is in good hands, and I truly appreciate the compassionate treatment she received. I've been with this vet practice for a few years now and since day 1 both the vet team and reception staff have been very warm, understanding, kind and attentive to my pets needs. The vets have always been lovely and happy to answer any questions and I even got a follow up call about my pet to see how he is doing the following day. Every vet I've seen here is passionate about animals and has treated my pets like they were their own.

Exceptional care for my dog Eddie by truly knowledgable specialists. Eddie was referred in the middle of the night and after a two hour journey to Winchester I was welcomed by Eliana, Jorge and the clinical team who immediately jumped into action. Their care for my dog and concern for my piece of mind has been unmatched from specialists to front desk to nurses. I highly recommend Anderson Moores, in case of urgent care. Also it is located at a beautiful, clean and well looked after premise in the countryside. Thank you so much team for fixing my darling boy!

Our Westie, Pixie, underwent TPLO (on both legs) surgery in March. It was traumatic for her and us, but with Anderson Moores' skills and care, we could not thank the Team enough, especially that of her Consultant, Kate Holroyd. We have an almost 2 year old American Bulldog Gus, who has just had TPLO surgery, I cannot praise Anderson Moores enough for their service, from the initial consultation with Maria who spent nearly an hour explaining what she surgery entailed, how she would do it and the recovery process we were instantly put at ease, she was clear, concise and above all kind, the professionalism, empathy and kindness shown to us and Gus throughout has been amazing. Juan Carlos too has been amazing, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the recovery process now, and is a long road ahead but feel we are In the best hands, at no time have we been made to feel a nuisance with the endless worries and questions we've posed, top notch service, top notch vets, admin team and nurses. A great practice 👌

Excellent service from start to finish. Obviously extremely expensive, but trust our dog to steal and eat grapes on a Sunday! The receptionist, vet and nurses were all lovely and treated us and our dog very kindly.

Very efficient service starting from the initial phone call to leaving the surgery. The staff were all very friendly with a calming nature which is lovely when you yourself are anxious about your pet. I also liked the fact that we were welcomed at the door and reassured that nothing was too much trouble. I only gave four stars because the out of hours costs were quite high BUT we were given the amount at the initial phone call and like a large proportion of owners you cannot put a price on your pet

Cat came home with injury in evening and we used the after hours service. Very good. Thorough, full explanation, staff very pleasant, the vet was patient and carried out many tests on our cat overnight and made him comfortable with painkillers.

After visiting Vets now Bittern, we were directed to the Winchester Branch as they has a smaller work load. We were greeted by Milly, Lucy and Candice. They were extremely empathic and made us and our dog at ease. They promptly checked our dog's wound and did blood tests. They were very knowledgeable and we could feel that they cared. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the practice.

All four dogs in our household came down with Kennel Cough and with one deteriorating fast at night I rushed him to the out of hours vet. Very quick, efficient and professional service leaving me greatly reassured. Thank you.
