I am not sure why people queue round the corner for the cafe opposite when you can get great food and service at Vallegiata. The place should be so much busier as the food is great (all day breakfast yummy), nice coffee, fresh juice and nice team. Give it a go and don’t queue at the competitor across the road!

I've been wanting to try Vallegiata in Sunningdale since they opened, and today was the day! I can now confirm that the ample good reviews are well-deserved. We started off with a (pleasingly large) perfectly balanced aperol spritz - sharp, zesty, and strong! To start we shared the bruschetta which, while not traditional, was gorgeous. Rich, creamy ricotta dolloped onto crunchy sourdough and topped with legitimately excellent tomatoes - a rare treat in the UK I find. They were so sweet and juicy, and paired perfectly with the basil oil drizzled over them and the ricotta. For mains we both opted for pizzas. Both the capriciossa and the stagioni were excellent - a wafer-thin base and crunchy crust, fresh tomato purée and the quality of the fior di latte cheese was fantastic. The toppings were generous and tasty and you're also offered garlic and chilli oil on the side which is always a win. To top it all off, the service was faultless. Friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Honestly, the sooner you can get here for a meal the better.

A newly opened restaurant in Sunningdale which is definitely going to become a frequent visit for us! The food was absolutely delicious, and the team who work there are all lovely. They also have a dog friendly, covered terrace which is so handy for those with dogs. Highly recommend!

I visited with my family last week, and we returned only a week later! Both times the food was 10/10, the cocktails were delicious, and the service was fantastic from everybody. Even the chef popped out to say hello to my little boy who had just turned 1! Highly recommend if you’re looking for pasta/ pizza for dinner in the area.

Had lunch at this Sunningdale restaurant today with a group of Ladies, was very pleasantly surprised by the bf/brunch and lunch/dinner menus with a wide range of options. More importantly all the dishes on the menu clearly indicated allergy information (gluten, dairy etc). Ambience is lovely bright and airy. The food came out quickly, was beautifully presented and tasted great. They were able to do a couple of substitutions where required, and the service led by Effé and team was excellent. Plenty of parking either on the street or just on the other side of London road (parking lot very close by). Will be back!
