Gorgeous dining room, beautifully fitted out, very grand indeed. The service was very good, with mainly young staff attending to diners. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with the room being moderately busy. Would definitely love to visit again on our next trip down to Englefield Green
Such a gorgeous venue for afternoon tea. The staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I wouldn’t say the food is amazing. It’s fairly basic for an afternoon tea. I was extremely surprised to see shop bought jam and the scones were stodgy. The cakes looked good but didn’t taste great and the vegetarian sandwiches unimaginative. However, we were offered as much tea as we wanted and a free glass of champagne. We would definitely recommend it for the atmosphere and reasonable cost and will return in the future.
Absolutely lovely restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food. One would've never guessed the location but it is stunning and so peaceful. We were a party of 6 including 2 kids and the staff was amazingly attentive and catered to everything really well. Whatever we ordered from the menu was delectable and super quality. We can't wait to be back again!
