We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New Year in a superior double room. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed. I had an issue with the evening servicing of the room which was only carried out once during my stay. The breakfast was disappointing. The cold selection was limited and very portion controlled. Service was slow and the hot food wasn't very good. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and again the food was poor and our order was muddled up resulting in meals arriving at different times. The staff were friendly and tried hard to give good service but they were let down by the chefs. It was expensive and I didn't feel that it was value for money. However I would stay again and it is in a beautiful location and well maintained hotel.

Absolutely fabulous! What an incredible place with incredible people. The best service, and hospitality in England. Jamie at the front desk to the wonderful restaurant staff who stayed late and made us a five star dinner, beautiful and fresh sea bass with an amazing steak 🥩, breakfast this morning didn't disappoint either. Overall, an impeccable place with top people, love the history and the wine. Well maintained. Our room was stunning with beautiful views. Can't wait to come back. Thank you all for making our stay the best. Even the toiletries were super. Xoox

I regularly stay here for work and it's always a pleasure. The team go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The touch I appreciated today was the lovely lady on the front desk taking note of how cold I get (I'd asked for extra blankets) and suggesting to add to my preferences for winter to put me in a warmer room if possible. I didn't even know that was possible but it's such a lovely touch! Thank you again team!

My partner and I received a Christmas gift for a Luxury Spa Day with treatment and afternoon tea and we booked it in for Monday this week. We received a very warm welcome from Jack who explained everything to us. We both had a full body massage and we both said it had to be one of the best massages we've ever had. I had Kaitlyn (my partner can't remember the name of his therapist). We took time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and then had our afternoon tea which was delicious. Lovely little details like herbal teas and fresh pastries to nibble on if getting peckish. It really was a fantastic quality day. Thank you

We normally book Christmas dinner at another local pub but they were fully booked in October. So booked here so we had somewhere. If I’m honest wasn’t sure what it would be like but it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and relaxed. The area we were in was nicely decorated and the other families were lovely and friendly ( unlike my usual place!). The food was great, portions generous and we were stuffed! All in all it was delicious, welcoming and cheaper than the other place. Definitely recommended for friendly family experience. Well done team!

Been to The Feathers a few times over the years. Always great food and reasonable prices. Dan in particular was fantastic at helping arrange a last minute family meal and the young blonde waitress (sorry, didn’t get her name) was also very kind and helpful, would definitely recommend and will be back

We booked home cottage for our office Christmas lunch and it was fantastic. The food was great, the staff are lovely and super helpful. We sat 25 and parties of a comparable size get their own room in the pub which was amazing. Additionally, on the morning off I wanted to last minute implement a seating plan so I called the staff and not only were they lovely but they got everything printed and set up on time with essentially no notice. Would highly recommend for Christmas parties and is all round a good pub!

The Home Cottage regularly host wine tastings, complete with lovely small plates, all guided by the wonderful Poppy! Not only is the food 10/10, but Poppy’s knowledge of the wine is superb. Such an engaging evening, excellent value for money - could not recommend more!

My family & I booked The Home Cottage for my late husband's funeral reception. The staff handled the booking, the assigned area for us, plus the food and drinks to perfection. They were simply marvellous. The food was good. Their fried chips grabed my guests attention much so that we asked for seconds. They obliged. The room was warm and well ventilated. Their facilities were clean and easy to access and use. My sincere thanks to The Home Cottage for making my guests and family feel welcome on such a sad occasion.

One of the best dinner I have ever had it was my first time trying Portuguese food and I was delighted. There's also English food available. I went there for a birthday party and the food was spectacular, great variety to choose from and very reasonable prices. Very friendly environment with a huge garden to enjoy during summer days. Totally recommended!

Catching up on reviews, I popped down for the Carol service evening in December. Pub was packed! Lovely open fire, they had mulled wine on the go as a seasonal treat, but the bar generally has a great selection of drinks! Staff were all friendly and efficient as it was really busy, but we weren't waiting long! The food was so nice! I've eaten there a few times and it's full of flavour! We all got given booklets with the lyrics, which was a nice touch. It was really well organised. We had a really lovely girls evening and would come back for similar events.

Thai Food was sooo delicious! We got massuman with prawn and a side of prawn toast and spring rolls as part of the lunch menu. Really reasonable price. Staff were also very nice too. Definitely would recommend

We came here after my appointment at East Surrey hospital. Fasting makes me really hungry and needs good food. Already pointed this place otw to the hospital and we are finally here. Huge car park. Big restaurant and clean. The first time I felt that the restaurant served us like we were at hotel The staff are really friendly and professional. The food is delicious and the desserts are yummy. We will come back again as the restaurant has a huge menu to offer.

Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. Beatrix the waitress went out of her way to surprise him with a Birthday dessert. Meal was excellent cooked to perfection. We have been here a few times and enjoyed the experience every time.

Nice local pub in Redhill by the Church road. Went with family friend for the first time for a drink as they r living in the area. Has front outside seating. They have large back garden nice and loads of seating. Perfect for private hire and celebrating special occasions. The decors inside amazing! Has well maintained toilet facility. Loads of drinks to chose from. Plenty of parking by side road. Though road is busy at times Recommended. Will try the food next time. Definitely coming back.

The service was fantastic, thank you Sarah! My only criticism is of the way in which the food is served. The food itself is kept under a heat lamp, however it is served on a cold (not slightly warm - a stone cold) plate, and the food cools down very quickly. The flavour of the food was good, there could be a little more sauce with the cauliflower cheese however it was very good for the price. Would recommend.

Great venue, loved random decor, we had a nice time just having drinks and catching up. But I ordered the chips, and thought a bowl would come out, it was absolutely tiny, lovely tasting, just so so small!

In Redhill, Wetherspoon definitely has a worthy contender in the name of Posadero Lounge. I came here with a group of friends not knowing what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised with their Tapas Tuesdays, where you can get an order of 3 tapas for 12.95 and get a free drink as well, as long as you come 5 PM onwards. The place is like different places/ambiance depending on where you're seated. The food was delicious and we're definitely coming back here for gatherings with my friends, ready to try their other offerings next time. Great food and a nice place to sit back and relax. Loved their toasted pitta bread. Definitely need a second serving.

Stopped off here for dinner after bowling at the Light. Nice selection of food on the menu and it wasn't too busy Monday night. The staff were very helpful and we were well looked after. The service was quick and the food nice 👍
