The Best Restaurants in Ash, Surrey, United Kingdom (2025)

Great little eatery in Aldershot off the main parade of shops. I had the Mutton curry prepared mild without excessive chillies with paratha, superbly cooked, tender and flavourful. Something else which I tried was the Veg Thukpa a noodle soup which was tasty, wholesome and which was also excellent. Service was quick and very friendly staff who efficiently explained the offering and took order. It's not the ritz so expect a basic clean environment which can get noisy with the TV showing Nepalese popular music and dance shows. Toilet was clean and there is a place around the back to wash your hands, so definitely use your fingers to experience an authentic Nepalese meal. Would definitely be going back to try the Momo's as well as some of the other dishes.

Food is great and spicy 🔥. They ask for a spice level and you can order as per your preference. Thukpa, momo must try dishes. The staff is very friendly.

Great service, staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Amazing atmosphere and delicious foods. One of my favourite was nepali authentic koda (millet) ko dhido thali. I highly recommend Om restaurant.

This is a new restaurant, serving Nepalise foods. The mutton curry was delicious although served in a small bowl. The chapati and aloo paratha were delicious. Good athmosphere and great customer service.

I remember having amazing laphing here (both dry n jhol) !!! Very authentic n takes u back to Nepal ❤️ even the ambience and environment, something about it as soon we walked in felt like it was a place back home ❤️ We loved their khana set and tareko machha too!!! Lovely Nepali vibe with friendly staff always with a smile on, and the food was good being served pretty quickly, only the prices are a little higher than I saw in the previous reviews. You can park off the streets or at the Aldershot train station parking lot.

A delightful solo visit to! Despite the family-friendly vibe, the staff was attentive and accommodating. The Aloo Paratha, Vegetable Fried Momos, and Puri Tarkari were all bursting with flavor - a true vegetarian feast. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place, very much worth the long drive from London. The food was packed with flavours, every dish we had was fresh and delicious. This seemed like a family run restaurant, the staff were really sweet and the ambience felt very authentic. Highly recommend the Jhol Momos and Chowmein! And there’s plenty on-street parking nearby.

An incredible meal at Curzon. The staff were lovely and very accommodating, the food was delicious, every dish we had was so tasty and different, plus the onion bhaji was the biggest i've ever seen. We can't wait to come back.

We used Curzon for a takeaway delivered to our home and the service was excellent. The portion sizes are enormous so be prepared! Luckily as we were at home we were able to put half of it in the fridge and have a second meal the next day! Recommended.

my partner and i have just moved to the area for a few weeks, and this was the first restaurant that we've tried. Absolutely incredible food (especially the chili paneer!), the service was friendly and quick enough considering the caliber of food. There was also some singing going on which added to the Nepali authenticity. We will definitely try to come back again before we have to leave, 100% recommend.

What a lovely restaurant! We had a selection of the starters but they weren't the best, a bit tasteless to be honest. The camembert had no taste and yet it was supposed to have rosemary and pecan flavours, quite disappointed. The nicest thing we ate ,by far , was the chicken crackling and jue starter, that was amazing. We will go back to try some of the mains and give the food one more chance. 🤞. The service was great though and the atmosphere was nice , I loved the restaurant itself, decorated SO nice it felt like we was on holiday.

Lovely food. Beautiful surroundings. Absolutely love the decor. Love that they are dog friendly too. The only very slight thing I found a bit irritating is the very strict no smoking or vaping policy on the patio area. The designated smoking/vaping area is a bit dingy and well out of the way. Luckily we aren’t heavy smokers and just refrained. It wouldn’t stop us returning but might others. Also worth noting that men have to wear sleeves. My partner was wearing a vest as it was a sunny day- and it was allowed on that occasion.. but we were asked for him to bear it in mind if we return. Staff were lovely, and friendly and polite. Desert list was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Be prepared to have difficulty choosing🥰

Such a quirky place to eat!!The decor and art work makes you feel like your in the heart of London without having to trek down there! Even the toilets had a cool decor, it felt like I was abroad for a spilt second! Hats off to whoever designed this place! Food was delicious , though the the portion could be a little bigger. I ordered fish and chips and my fish felt very thin. Though it was delicious in taste. I was also very pleased with the quality of the kids meal for my son, they actually make effort for the kids which I find rather rare these days. Vibe was so chilled and staff were friendly too. The only reason I haven’t give it 5 stars is due to the fact that staff can get a little too relaxed and so I found myself having to get my own menu , ask for cutlery for my meal, and keep getting up to ask staff for smalls things like Mayo. But it wasn’t too much of a bother , once I approached staff they were helpful .
