Serving beyond the bar was somewhat disorganised but venue was clean and views far-reaching. Plenty of space for guests to move around outside. Super sunset from the veranda.

Really liked this place. Didnât use the dining bit or shops, but the spa was really lovely. Our cabin was modern and clean, the site spotless, with recycling facilities. About 15 mins from Lyme Regis. No EV chargers on site, but there are two 150kw bad boys in Holmbush Car Park, Lyme R, brilliant. We will be back.

What a wonderful place.. stunning scenery in a secluded location, quiet and peaceful get away! Beautiful lodges and amazing facilities. Spa is small but the hydropool is amazing. Not far from Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Loved every second and would highly recommend to everyone.

Had a lovely Christmas and New Year here even brought in the bells at the clubhouse with a cracking family friendly disco and party. Glad we stumbled on this place as we will be back now looking at the ownership side of it as want to spend a lot more family time down here.

I stayed overnight in the art deco room (Room 4) and everything was great. The bathroom was right out of a luxury boutique hotel - fantastic. It would be impossible to improve on the shower. But that was nothing compared with dinner. I ordered the fish and chips. They gave me THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS I'VE EVER HAD. Incredible. That really took me by surprise and is a reason to return on its own. What a chef. Breakfast was good too. The team were very friendly, letting me into the restaurant a few minutes early for a coffee while we waited for the kitchen to open. I went for the continental. I overheard one of the team had quickly nipped to the shops because I had ordered yoghurt and they had run out. That's service. To sum up? The Crooked Swan really cares about their customers. They have really thought about how to make each stay a special one. It would be better if they had a car park but that's no huge issue as there's a public one a short walk away. Even if they wanted a car park, there really isn't room to build one!

Magnificent stay here, twice now. Small inconsistencies with food, but understandable. Hannah, Lee, Trina, Jess, Meg, and Oliver, amazing team, brilliant service, always happy to help. Props to them, words cannot describe how brilliant it was here.

Stayed in room 5 - the room was so lovely but the bath let it down for us. You could tell the bath needed maintenance (tried to be hidden by the bath mat being cleverly laid within the bath) and it looked like there had been some kind of leak underneath. Making us very wary of using it. This resulted in us just using the shower⊠this creaked majorly when we walked in to it⊠bit concerning! Apart from that, bed was so comfy. Window could be open nice and wide. Loads of space. Lovely service upon entering & leaving. We had food in the restaurant in the evening and couldnât fault the food, it was so lovely. Location doesnât have car park (known after a bit of digging as not explicit on website).

Hands down one of the best boutique hotels around. Stayed in room 6 three times now. And thereâs literally no where else around like it. Amazing bed, bath, shower even the lighting is perfect. And the food, well Michelin star worthy in my opinion. The Staff are very friendly and there is always a warm welcoming atmosphere. There are many options for parking just minuets walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something new, you will not be disappointed.

Great food, fantastic service and really well priced. A kids meal for ÂŁ8 with dessert and a drink is great value.

I can firmly recommend this restaurant. We came here for a dinner and were very surprised. Everything was exceptionally tasty and very well decorated. Service was fast, the waitresses were all friendly. The food took a while but the place was full. We sat in the dog friendly garden. We had three starters to share, prawns, the cauliflower and BBQ pulled pork. Especially the cauliflower was awesome. To the point. Lots of spices, great sauce, spicy. The fries were crisp even covered with sauce. We then shared the fish curry. Another surprise. Also spicy, the rice was perfect, crisp vegetables and a delightful sauce over the shrimps, the fish and the mussels which were outstanding huge. The prices for such high quality are very OK. The negative reviews could be explained by the season. We were told that during summer vacation the near campground is flooded with people who then also flood this place.

The best roast I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Beautifully presented, perfectly cooked roast pork.
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely amazing roast and Iâve eaten a lot of roasts!! Huge portions and the meal included cauliflower cheese at no extra cost. Lovely pub garden in a beautiful little village. Golden Cap on a nearby so Iâd recommend a long walk along the gorgeous Jurassic coast followed by a roast at this gem of a pub

Really lovely country pub with a local atmosphere and great service. The food was exceptional. I love a burger believe me and I reckon the double bacon smash burger was one of the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!! My fiancé had the chicken and leek pie and was equAlly impressed! This little gem is a must visit if in the area. Oh very dog friendly too, our little puppy spread himself across the pub for a nap whilst we ate!

What a great village pub. We were on holiday in the area and decided to go to this âcommunityâ pub and what a great decision. Food lovely and great friendly locals. Charming landlady. These are the sort of places that should be supported. I unhesitatingly recommend.

Marshwood Manor

Rating: 4.6 (61) Price Level:

When we started planning our wedding we wanted it to be like a weekend away with all of our family with a wedding thrown in. We were in love with Marshwood Manor as soon as we walked into the bar and as we saw the cottages, the wildflower meadow and the woodland Bower for the ceremony we knew this place was for us. Marshwood Manor was a home away from home for us and our guests. It is idyllic. For our wedding we did not need over the top decorations, installations, flowers as the setting has a natural beauty of its own.

Fantastic wedding venue, being a guest was a pleasure.

A lovely holiday home. We stayed in the Hayloft and had a great time. The owners are close by and very helpful, and their dogs were equally lovely. We were 7 adults and 3 kids. The play areas were good and the children spent a lot of time outside. The lovely kitchen table meant we spent a lot of time together which was good.

Lovely place, nice spacious rooms with air conditioning, decent telly and comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy, with a nice powerful shower. I really had to dig deep to find any fault with the place, and the only thing I did find wrong was that the toilet roll holder was was a bit loose. The continental breakfast had a good range of food, and was a nice way to start the day.

My bestie Jane and I visited Moreton church, a beautiful tranquil place. We decided to be ladies that lunch and stopped at the Frampton Arms where we had a lovely lunch. The pub has a charming atmosphere, where the staff are chatty, friendly and our food was delicious and at a reasonable price, well worth a visit.

What a lovely place! We stayed here for 1 night. The room was so cozy and clean, the shower was fantastic. Sunday roast dinner and bread pudding after were absolutely delicious. Continental breakfast in the morning, which was free, had a great variety and assortment of yummy things. The stuff was very courteous and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Just had a two night stay here at this beautifully presented pub/b&b. Staff were friendly and helpful, always polite. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Itâs on the train line which doesnât feel intrusive. The food was really nice in the evenings (didnât eat lunch there), we were a big group one evening and there were two small issues but they were sorted. The first morning, arrived to breakfast and it wasnât ready and staff didnât know why, they quickly sorted it out tho. The only downside for us was breakfast, as there is no hot option.
