The tutoring was absolutely top notch and our son is thrilled with his result. Communication with us as parents was excellent. Thank you so much to Grainne and Kristina who were so amazing teaching both my children for the 11+ Kent test and for 11+ independent school tests. They were so patient, hardworking and caring which resulted in high pass marks and academic scholarships for my children's top choice schools. My daughter even requested to carry on with tutoring once she had passed the tests as she was having so much fun! It has been such a pleasure working with them over the last 4 years.

As a family new to the world of tuition and with some prior hesitation towards using such services, I cannot recommend My Tutor Plus enough. Our son is quite often hesitant to try new things with new people, but from his very first trial lesson with Vicki, his enthusiasm and confidence only grew each and every week. Vicki made the lessons fun, engaging and challenging and encouraged him to do his best every time. She instilled him with a newfound confidence and belief in himself that has paid dividends. Gráinne was on hand with regular support, advice and check ins to help us navigate the challenges and inherent pressure that the 11 plus process puts on children, and indeed the rest of the family. Our son also attended a couple of the holiday revision sessions with Andy, which he found engaging and fun, sometimes not wanting to end the Zoom session at the end of the day! Our son's incredible 11 plus results are a testament to Vicki, Gráinne and Andy's encouragement and care over the past 12 months.

Paul is a wonder tutor! My daughter always looks forward to her weekly sessions with Paul. Great communication with student and parent, excellent feedback and homework, enjoyable learning which is interactive and engaging.

Paul has been working with our daughter on maths GCSE for the past couple of months with the aim of getting her from a grade 2/3 to a grade 4. The progress she has made has been remarkably, we await to see what grade she gets, but I have no doubt had we had more time she would have been able to have got a grade 5/6. She really enjoyed the lessons and found the way Paul teaches maths made a very difficult subject seem normal. Paul showed an understanding and caring approach towards our daughter with the normal day to day pressures that a 15-year-old kid is under with exams looming. Teacher Paul is a Master of Teaching. My 13-year-old daughter is a big fan of Paul. One class in year 9 math made her realize how easy it is to grasp the essence of mathematical reasoning. One class on Victorian history inspired her to spontaneously commenced a interesting project of her own. She googled the Chinese chronology, did some research, and drew a series of clothing styles corresponding to each era. One month of preparation for the entrance exam gave her the opportunity to enter her dream school! It was teacher Paul who gave my daughter the confidence to make things happen.

Paul is professional and is focussed on planning the lessons by identifying my son’s needs. He has made a big difference to my son’s confidence and his enthusiasm towards learning, and he always comes out of the class smiling! Paul is very warm and kind and not only has the ability to deliver the ‘knowledge magic’ but does it in such a way that makes learning exciting.

My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. And of course, a huge thanks to the front team : Stephanie, Jinky, and Ilse. They have been highly supportive,very friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much for such a caring, perfect environment.

My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

Update- I had no hesitation enrolling my boys at RTC following the success they had with my first. Maria was brilliant with them and gave in-depth feedback every week. Thanks also to Ilse for being welcoming and approachable. I would definitely recommend RTC! My son prepared for his 11+ under RTC and passed excellently. I particularly liked the weekly feedback and the methodical approach to covering all the required topics across a range of subjects. Also the mock exams were apt opportunities to discuss strengths and weaknesses and agree steps forward to fill the gap. Special mention to Jo and Justine, and to Steph and Jinky for seamless front of house comms. All well appreciated.

Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

Jennifer helped my son with 11+ preparation and he really gelled with her patient, effective and child-focused approach. Not only did he fly through the exams, but he is so much more confident and effective in the classroom too. She is a real gem and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any KS2 or 11+ tuition!

Jennifer was fantastic with my son and really helped him prepare for his 11+ test. The environment was not pressurised, which was actually very important to me as I didn't want my son thinking passing the 11+ was the be all and end all. But he did pass and is now off to grammar school. Jennifer is friendly and my son enjoyed attending sessions with her - I would definitely recommend her!

Jenny helped both my twins pass the Kent test. She encouraged them but with a gentle, fun approach throughout. She was also very supportive to our whole family- on hand to answer any questions and providing advice to us parents but also listening to our feedback so we all worked very well together. The presence of her two family dogs (which my daughters requested!) in her home made the atmosphere even more relaxed and my daughters were very sad to say goodbye to her!

A big thank you to Tuition Academy at Maidstone for their support in helping my daughter prepare and pass the Kent and Medway test this year. The online resources, mock tests and additional practice resources both online and offline were very helpful.

My son attended Tuition Academy Maidstone for a year prior to taking his Kent test and Medway tests. The tuition and homework levels were perfectly pitched, my son felt supported whenever he had questions and he really liked his tutor. The holiday classes and mock tests available certainly helped him prepare for the final tests which he successfully passed.

Since my son started attending RTC Maidstone in October, his ability to stay focused in school has really improved, and his handwriting is a lot better. He enjoys attending and always looks forward to Lucie's class each week. Feedback is given after every lesson, which I find very useful. Lucie is very patient, warm, and accommodating. The office staff are very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I would highly recommend.

My daughter had her first lesson today and absolutely loved it! Lucie made her feel super welcome as soon as we arrived and the rest of the team were all friendly and approachable! Lucie is both professional and friendly and I would highly recommend RTC for all your tutoring needs!

Fantastic and fun support provided by Arthur, Bonnie and Henry. My boy loved the challenge of exceeding his own expectations, and attending the mock exams. He was confident sitting the exam and took in a variety of skills taught by the centre and from home. The groups were nice and small and the light hearted humour was welcome after a long school day.

Right tution company Maidstone gave my daughter the support she needed to pass her 11plus test we decided to enrolled her for both Medway and Kent test and she did very well in both tests. The teams are very friendly and reports progress each week

As a Kumon mum and class assistant, I can say that it’s a lovely place to work and the staff are all very good at making children feel at ease and helping them reach their full potential. My children are 2 years above their school level and this wouldn’t have been possible without Kumon.

This a fantastic Kumon Centre, my children having been doing Kumon for 2 years now. They have gone from strength to strength and with the gentle but kindness of Davina the Kumon Instructor we have had a fabulous experience. Highly recommend Maidstone Kumon Centre.

I have used Kumon, maidstone YMCA for the past 2 years. Amazing kumon centre. Kumon has allowed them to advance within Maths and English,where children are challenged. The learning environment is supportive and children get used to having "homework" routine at a young age.
