Mary is an excellent tutor and I thoroughly recommend her.  My daughter has made wonderful progress since she started having lessons with her. Her own daughter was home educated and is currently studying at Cambridge University which highlights the standard of her teaching. My children are really enjoying their classes with Mary. They find her explanations clear & easy to follow. They love the notes she takes during the class. This helps them concentrate during the lesson and go back over things afterwards when they need to apply what they have learnt. Mary has a great balance of being warm and friendly yet firm enough that the children listen and know they are to take their studies seriously if they want to progress and achieve. Mary really knows her subject so well and we feel very blessed for our children to be learning from such a great teacher.

We cannot speak more highly of her exceptional teaching ability and particular skills in enhancing exam technique. Emma was always consistent in her ability to teach English to a very high standard whilst motivating our child to thrive in the subject. This resulted in our child achieving five marks below the maximum grade 9 in their GCSE exam. We think this speaks volumes of the standard and expertise that Emma provided and we would definitely recommend her as a tutor.

Teachers that were chosen to teach me the subjects were very kind and explained to me everything that i needed to know in detail even when i had problems with understanding. When there were problems they got sorted out quickly to not disturb my learning. Overall helped me achieve the grades that i wanted. Thank you!

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). Emma gave me great advice on how to approach exam style questions including how to efficiently answer questions. Emma was able to identify exactly what I struggled with in English which I didn’t even know my self and worked on that issue which ultimately lead to me getting a grade 8 in English language. My son made very steady and very fast progress with his maths ,all due to the amazing mathematics program Kumon has got in place. Kumon built confidence in him which he did not have at the time of joining.He started getting good remarks from the school which was very thrilling to hear. I recommend Kumon to any kid at any grade as it’s never late to start with Kumon, The team there are excellent at how to take your kid to the higher gear within a very short space of time.

I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! We then had some sessions during the summer holiday to get ready for the final day. My daughter passed the Kent test! I would like to thank Jeni for all the feedback and help she provided. A weekly lesson has proved massively beneficial for my daughter. Being attending for awhile for both learning math and japanese and defently must recommend as both Nicola and Alix teaching has been outstanding im learning a whole new language that i thought would be impossible to learn but over time its becoming easier to learn, with maths ive finally got a variety of skills that now im able to understand how different methords can help understanding algibra which is not my best subject. Tutor World really help my child, I tried others for lessons for the 11+ for my son. I was told he won’t pass as he lacks focus, but when I went to tutor world for an assessment, Ruvini was very helpful and told me with little effort my son could do well at the exam, am so happy I listen to her advice, as I almost gave up. Rowena has tutored my daughter for 13 months and she successfully passed her 11+ and taken her ISEB exams. A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

My daughter has been attending this tution for almost around two years and she always comes back with a smile on her face and telling me all about what she did 🤣 She absolutely loves it and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime sooner! Both my children attended in centre and online Compass sessions. My son completed the 11+ package and while there was frustrations with the package content and occasional online issues, the staff were always eager to help. My son had some great tutors, Taryn, Ben, Maddison are just a few that always made him feel relaxed and calm. In addition I cannot even begin to explain how much they accommodate families last minute changes or even the occasion where you have forgotten a session completely. My experience of the managers (Sian, Katie & Taryn) has been 100% positive; they are patient, polite and helpful. Both my children passed their Kent Test with good marks. Thank you 😊
