Volunteering as a Maths Tutor with Action Tutoring at King Edward VII School in Sheffield has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Over 1.5 years, I had the privilege of working with bright and eager students, helping them strengthen their maths skills and build confidence in their abilities. As an Action Tutoring volunteer, I’m very happy to be working with them. The support they offer to children needing it is amazing. Very organised workbooks to follow with the students covering the major elements that come up in exams. I also feel very supported as a tutor as well. I hope to stick with them for as long as I can.

A well organised charity that provides the material for you. I have enjoyed doing voluntary in-person English tutoring with Year 6, and feel the pupils have benefited from the opportunity to work in groups of no more than three.

Volunteering with Action Tutoring is a great way to provide support where it is needed, no matter where you are. On-line tutoring allows you to work around your other obligations and the excellent preparation and support provided to tutors means that you can be immediately effective in helping the students.
