Called Shears to help renovate our bathroom by tiling the room completely, putting in a new shower and flooring. The team are an absolute pleasure, very friendly and understanding with concerns, went the extra mile whilst in our family home with my children. Great service, Great team. Can’t speak highly enough of Ben and his team. We asked Ben to plan and carry out a renovation of our out houses to convert them into a dining room. From start to finish we were extremely pleased with the whole process, the team were punctual, tidy and carried out the work with excellent workmanship.

Shears Review This is actually my beautiful new bathroom that has been brilliantly installed from start to finish by Shears. As you can see from the photos, the workmanship is second to none. Wes from Shears managed the installation team from start to finish and nothing I asked him was too much trouble. The plumbers Dean and Ross were very friendly and professional as well. Craig’s and Wes’s tiling is amazing as you can see from the finish. Great plastering from Wes on the ceiling and Simon the electrician has done a lovely job of the new ceiling spotlights, alcove light and the storage mirror light as well. Danielle and Charity in the back office keep you up to date i.e. asking if anything needs authorising or changing etc. The company owner Ben Shears was also involved from the survey stage and his advice was also great. I would recommend Shears to anybody as a friendly, down to earth and professional company where you as the customer are looked after from start to finish. Thank you Shears and here’s to the new kitchen in a couple of weeks. This is also my beautiful new kitchen, expertly installed by Shears. Very impressed again with all the team, especially Andy and Matt the carpenters who installed and redesigned small parts of the kitchen as this would look better ie: boxes around pipes and the way the corner hidden panels would look. Any snags were expertly dealt with by contacting either Danielle or Ben and they both would not question anything but send the relevant person back to rectify these things. We were also very impressed again with the tiling, so much so that we decided to have the conservatory floor retiled and levelled which looks extremely good. Any damaged items in the kitchen were dealt with by Danielle direct with Wren who sent replacement items. Had the kitchen fully re-plastered by Wes who delivered a really good finish. Plumbing completed by Richard who did exactly what I wanted. Silicone finish by Dennis who is an expert at this. Electrics again all fitted by Simon who did a very good job. The Quartz worktop installers even commented on how nice it was to fit to units that had been installed level, a nice complement for Andy and Matt. I would recommend shears to anybody for kitchens or bathrooms

I have been using Tony for 3 years now for my boiler service and he has always been amazing. Very thorough in his work, takes his time, makes sure everything is correct and is just an overall lovely person. I would highly recommend for all your plumbing needs.

Tony was great, installed a new water pump a few months back for a reasonable cost. Last night I had a major leak from my water tank and he went out of his way after hours to come and fix it. Good directions on the phone and would recommend. 👍

Highly recommended this company. Tony and Guy replaced my leaking bath pipe. Really nice, polite and respectful lads. Even removed shoes before entering property! Excellent job and reasonably priced and also carried out a few extra minor repairs. Definitely use again 😁

I would give Tony 110% for his work every time. He is very friendly and professional. He always gives the most genuine advice which I appreciate and he tries to help me save money where I can. AB Plumbing are 2nd to none. We have used them for smaller jobs such as fixing an outside tap and servicing the boiler and have always been happy. Booked a boiler service , was told price and booked in straight away . Adam, arrived started servicing the boiler. We live in a park home so LPG gas had low pressure. Adam phoned Calor gas , arranged for them to come out the same day. He sorted it all out for me . Polite , gets on with the job, no mess . Would highly recommend AB plumbing . Hancox have just replaced my old central heating boiler with a new combi boiler. Their engineers Rob and Luke carried out the work efficiently and skillfully, tidying up as they went. They worked tirelessly and professionally and I was amazed at the amount of work they put in. The new pipework in my airing cupboard is a work of art, so much so that my husband took a photo to show people at his work. I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the moment and Hancox had promised to carry out the work as quickly as they could to minimise the time I was without heat whilst I'm vulnerable. They exceeded my expectations. I had a lump in my throat when Rob and Luke came back from getting some materials with some heaters for me to borrow that night to keep the house warm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hancox and will certainly use them again.

Have been using This company to service my gas boiler/ plumbing repairs for the last 3 years and have always had excellent service at a reasonable price. Yesterday I had the latest annual service carried out but also arranged for the engineer to replace my bathroom basin tap with one I had bought myself. Unfortunately my new tap was the wrong type so the engineer went and bought another one and fitted this. This was exceptional service. The engineer was also punctual, friendly and very professional. He also left everything very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this company.

Thrilled with the work Mark from Summit has done on my radiators that were barely coming on with my ancient boiler. He rebalanced them and got rid of air pockets that were trapped. Now they're coming on hot and he's reasonably priced for his time and expertise. Friendly, professional, reliable and helpful in educating me on all things heating. Will use Mark going forward and highly recommend.

We used optimal plumbing to renovate our holiday home bathroom,we trusted Ryan and Adam with the keys the work was great and they left the place spotless, it’s the second time we’ve used optimal would not hesitate to recommend also the price was reasonable considering the distance.

I am really happy with the work Adam and Ryan did on fitting my new kitchen sink waste pipes. They fitted me in around their jobs, were polite, efficient and very helpful. I had an issue with my dishwasher not draining later on and a couple of rogue slight leaks from my new sink and they came back, same day, and fixed the lot. I’d recommend them to anyone! Ryan and Adam took on quite a challenging job renovating our bathroom and at very short notice during a busy period before Christmas. They were very responsive and efficient, and incredibly hard working. Quite a few issues popped up through the process (such as discovering we had asbestos pipes) that they helped us with. We are really happy with the results and will use these guys again.

Reliable, professional and great quality work. I contacted Matt Plumbing and Heating about changing our kitchen tap and fixing a broken pvc pipe under the sink. Everything was done the next day morning. I am very satisfied with their job and will call them again when I need a plumber.

I contacted Ozzy late evening after my electric shower gave up mid flow. He took my details and told me he would order a new shower the next day. Having ordered the item and agreeing an installation time, Ozzy attended promptly. Upon starting work, he discovered a few issues with the original installation but stated that these would pose no problems for him. The work was completed quickly and with minimum ease and at a very good price. I have already decided that when my house extension is started, Ozzy will be the go to guy for fitting the new bathroom and shower areas. Cannot fault the work he's done and he's a really friendly person to boot too.

We have just had our entire bathroom fitted by Ozzy. I can't recommend him enough. He was very helpful in the run up to the job in advising how many tiles and how much flooring we need and has done a top notch job on the bathroom. Being a Victorian house and during a pandemic there were small things that came up along the way but Ozzy was fantastic at sorting them all, and put one hell of a hard weeks work in. Ozzy’s just done a fab job for us replacing a faulty heavy-duty valve in our airing cupboard (which required re-piping to do) along with installing some new bath taps. Great chap - great customer service (does what he says, when he says and within a very reasonable timeframe), leaves things clean and tidy and doesn’t charge the Earth. Would recommend without hesitation.
