Came on time - rang me beforehand to check, very friendly, polite and helpful. Job well done - there were unforeseen complications but Michael took it in his stride and wasn't at all preturbed - just got on with it. Very professional. Job completed to very high standard. At last! A plumber who is willing to 'go the extra mile' – in every sense! After literally months of trying to get a local plumber to even come and look at a small leak in an old lead mains pipe, we were forced to look further afield. We are now glad we did. We are so happy to have found Michael who kindly came to our aid, in spite of the fact we were out of his usual area, and the problem is now fixed. Friendly, approachable and very reassuring, he had the sort of expertise which only comes with years of experience. Although, they were only with us a couple of hours, he and his son both had the sort of quality which inspires trust. We will definitely call them first for any future plumbing needs.

Neil came out at very short notice to help with a leak in a very awkward place in my kitchen, and also an almost-inaccessible stoptap problem. I had expected a lot of disruption as I'd been warned by others that the job could be very complicated. However, Neil was very honest in his assessment and took the time to find a simpler way to resolve the problem without sacrificing quality. The job was completed promptly and the kitchen was left clear and tidy afterward. Very pleased with the work and the end result.

I made contact with Neil after my wife was getting messed around for 3 weeks with a lot of conflicting advice from several other plumbers. I spoke with Neil and he did his research upon pictures supplied for my Grohe mixer shower. I was advised of what part to source and communication from Neil was excellent. Neil was very good at his job been doing plumbing for years. He is a man that likes to get on with the job. He put us another up to date toilet in (which was on an angle) also put a new sink with cabinet then he removed an old radiator for an upright towel rail. Called Neil to help with a leak in my bathroom. Very impressed with his response which gave me the confidence to let Neil upgrade my bathroom with a false wall, shower, shower screen, bath and tiling. Thrilled with the work Mark from Summit has done on my radiators that were barely coming on with my ancient boiler. He rebalanced them and got rid of air pockets that were trapped. Now they're coming on hot and he's reasonably priced for his time and expertise. Friendly, professional, reliable and helpful in educating me on all things heating. Will use Mark going forward and highly recommend.

We had a leaky sink. I saw Matt's brilliant reviews and messaged him with a photo of the leak and what I thought the problem was. Matt arranged to visit the next day and he did. He wore boot covers on our carpet, was polite and friendly, and fixed the leak quickly after carefully diagnosing the issue. Excellent service from start to finish and at a very competitive price. If you need a plumber, I highly recommend Matt.

Matt is a very polite individual who works hard to get the job done. His work is very meticulous and tidy. Excellent service. Teodor did an excellent job servicing my boiler and replacing a radiator for me at an affordable price. He completed the task in a timely manner, was very professional, and left no mess behind. He walked me through everything he was doing and answered any questions I had. New bathroom fitting - Theo did an excellent job from start to finish and we could not be happier with our new bathroom. The standard of workmanship is excellent. Need a new boil to fitted as the current one had been here since God was a boy. Tedor came round to replace the boiler even though the old boiler didn't want to go and throw up a couple of issues just to see if it could be kept. These issues were not planned or quoted for and he fixed them with no issues. Was here for 8 hours as the job turned into a bit of a nightmare for him but the price remained the same. This is not the first time nor will be the last we have had Tedor over and I can't recommend his services highly enough.

Needed a boiler replacement urgently. We also had very slow water from our taps and sinks along with the issue of the water getting cold within minutes. Spoke to a gentleman Genti. He was very professional and booking him was very simple. Sent over some photos and he was down the very same day to inspect the job. Boiler was installed with a hot water tank within 3 days with full gas safe certificate and all warranties registered. Never had an issue with water or heating since. I would highly recommend GD Plumbing for any plumbing work!

I’m very grateful to Gee and his team for the plumbing and heating work done in our home. We needed various upgrades and repairs to the central heating, hot water and underfloor heating. Gee and his team work hard, and do a thorough job until it’s all finished and everything working well. I feel like Gee is a genuine guy who really cares. GD plumbing are highly professional services. They have done a bathroom installation in the utility room, under staircse toilet installation, a few radiators installations me. The complex shower system and all the hot and cold water plumbing and electrics have been done to high standards. The tiling and doors etc are also done with high aesthetic standards. They have been very reliable and approachable for any issues afterwards. All the work was finished in short period as promised. I will highly recommend them.

Outstanding. Gee and the team did an outstanding job replacing our kitchen flooring, removing our kitchen island and reassembling to do a “propper job”. We just trusted them to get on with the job and came back to an immaculate kitchen. Have been using This company to service my gas boiler/ plumbing repairs for the last 3 years and have always had excellent service at a reasonable price. Yesterday I had the latest annual service carried out but also arranged for the engineer to replace my bathroom basin tap with one I had bought myself. Unfortunately my new tap was the wrong type so the engineer went and bought another one and fitted this. This was exceptional service. The engineer was also punctual, friendly and very professional. He also left everything very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this company.

We were very pleased with the service from Hancox Gas and Plumbing. They installed a new boiler for us and kindly moved the location, replacing old pipes (which resembled a level of Mario Bro’s) and simplified it. In a nutshell, very professional and well organised company who I would definitely use again.

Hancox have just replaced my old central heating boiler with a new combi boiler. Their engineers Rob and Luke carried out the work efficiently and skillfully, tidying up as they went. They worked tirelessly and professionally and I was amazed at the amount of work they put in. The new pipework in my airing cupboard is a work of art, so much so that my husband took a photo to show people at his work. I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the moment and Hancox had promised to carry out the work as quickly as they could to minimise the time I was without heat whilst I'm vulnerable. They exceeded my expectations. I had a lump in my throat when Rob and Luke came back from getting some materials with some heaters for me to borrow that night to keep the house warm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hancox and will certainly use them again.

James is friendly and professional, as well as very knowledgeable in what he does. He is also very respectful, and always cleans up the area he's worked in, leaving things tidy... and working! Would definitely recommend.

I am really happy with the work Adam and Ryan did on fitting my new kitchen sink waste pipes. They fitted me in around their jobs, were polite, efficient and very helpful. I had an issue with my dishwasher not draining later on and a couple of rogue slight leaks from my new sink and they came back, same day, and fixed the lot. I’d recommend them to anyone! Excellent service from the 2 guys at Optimal Plumbing and Engineering Ltd. I had an issue with lining up an inlet valve to the pipework for my downstairs toilet after replacing the floor, called them at 10:30am and they attended same day. Both were extremely polite and friendly, they tidied up after themselves and most importantly got the job done at a reasonable rate. Fantastic service and company and I will not hesitate to use them again in future!

We used optimal plumbing to renovate our holiday home bathroom,we trusted Ryan and Adam with the keys the work was great and they left the place spotless, it’s the second time we’ve used optimal would not hesitate to recommend also the price was reasonable considering the distance.

Ryan and Adam took on quite a challenging job renovating our bathroom and at very short notice during a busy period before Christmas. They were very responsive and efficient, and incredibly hard working. Quite a few issues popped up through the process (such as discovering we had asbestos pipes) that they helped us with. We are really happy with the results and will use these guys again.

Shears Review This is actually my beautiful new bathroom that has been brilliantly installed from start to finish by Shears. As you can see from the photos, the workmanship is second to none. Wes from Shears managed the installation team from start to finish and nothing I asked him was too much trouble. The plumbers Dean and Ross were very friendly and professional as well. Craig’s and Wes’s tiling is amazing as you can see from the finish. Great plastering from Wes on the ceiling and Simon the electrician has done a lovely job of the new ceiling spotlights, alcove light and the storage mirror light as well. Danielle and Charity in the back office keep you up to date i.e. asking if anything needs authorising or changing etc. The company owner Ben Shears was also involved from the survey stage and his advice was also great. I would recommend Shears to anybody as a friendly, down to earth and professional company where you as the customer are looked after from start to finish. Thank you Shears and here’s to the new kitchen in a couple of weeks. This is also my beautiful new kitchen, expertly installed by Shears. Very impressed again with all the team, especially Andy and Matt the carpenters who installed and redesigned small parts of the kitchen as this would look better ie: boxes around pipes and the way the corner hidden panels would look. Any snags were expertly dealt with by contacting either Danielle or Ben and they both would not question anything but send the relevant person back to rectify these things. We were also very impressed again with the tiling, so much so that we decided to have the conservatory floor retiled and levelled which looks extremely good. Any damaged items in the kitchen were dealt with by Danielle direct with Wren who sent replacement items. Had the kitchen fully re-plastered by Wes who delivered a really good finish. Plumbing completed by Richard who did exactly what I wanted. Silicone finish by Dennis who is an expert at this. Electrics again all fitted by Simon who did a very good job. The Quartz worktop installers even commented on how nice it was to fit to units that had been installed level, a nice complement for Andy and Matt. I would recommend shears to anybody for kitchens or bathrooms

Can’t speak highly enough of Ben and his team. We asked Ben to plan and carry out a renovation of our out houses to convert them into a dining room. From start to finish we were extremely pleased with the whole process, the team were punctual, tidy and carried out the work with excellent workmanship.

Called Shears to help renovate our bathroom by tiling the room completely, putting in a new shower and flooring.
