Needed the Totton branch for a replacement barrel and keys for a friend who's son had lost his keys at school. The person at the branch was outstanding going above and beyond to help us on the phone and even offered to wait after closing if we were later getting there. I visited this shop to obtain new internal door latches. The level of service I received was very good. I was able to return a latch that didn't fit and the owner then sourced the correct size for me. I would visit this shop again in the future for similar locks and door furniture.

Best place to get your key cut. Only £5.70 for a standard key in 2023 (other keys may be much more). Good selection of locks at good prices. Loads of cool key related things great customer service

Having been to an alternative company, to cut some keys and being told I was too late in the day (even though they didn’t close for another hour), I decided to drive further and try SSL. So glad that I did. The guy was extremely helpful and was happy to help, even though they were closing in 20 minutes. Customer service is hard to find, but I found it today at Southern Stronghold.
