I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. The design by John and the installation by Darren and his team was of the highest quality. My uninteresting lawn with borders and a tiny patio was transformed into something wonderful with a pergola, raised pond, large planters and patio but still with enough grass for a game of football or cricket to satisfy the grandchildren. Darren and the boys worked virtually non-stop for 5 weeks, often arriving in early morning darkness. Their attention to detail was remarkable and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for", it is worth every penny. Visitors always comment at how wonderful the garden looks. Thank you to everyone involved, especially to Darren and the boys.

John was excellent on the design, taking the time to understand our brief and coming up with a design that we were really happy with. There was clear communication throughout the process so we knew what was happening when. The Yorkshire Gardens team who did the work were brilliant. Very hard working (the build coincided with a long heat wave!) and very friendly. They didn't mind explaining what they were doing and accommodated a couple of tweaks here and there without complaint. We were delighted with the outcome and six months later that's still the case. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yorkshire Gardens, particularly if you want the design and execution of a garden project.

Hands down the best landscaping design and installation professionals in this region, if not the UK. The team are very patient and attentive to every detail in the garden. Our garden came a cost but we can say without doubt we are overjoyed with the outcome and the follow up service. John and his team have kept an eye on the garden to ensure the warranty period is honored and have been proactive in providing follow up care at no further cost. If you want outstanding design, installation and after care then you must go with these guys.

My mum has just had her garden done and this is her feedback.... A job very well done by Graham and his team. We just had our back garden transformed, with new bespoke tiles and some beautiful looking steps, spaced out safely to avoid falling and made larger than before to give more depth to the overall look, which is stunning and will be so much easier for us to maintain. We would highly recommend Graham, a great team, very professional and does the job on time!

Fantastic experience with Garden Revamps, laying artificial grass and building planters and decking. From getting our initial quote from Graham to agreeing on the works to be done, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Once they started on the job they kept us well informed of their progress and got the job done to a great standard, love our new outdoor space. Would highly recommend!

I can’t fault Graham and his team. They were putting in a long concrete path to give a flat access to our church hall. They were working by the Church and school and were really helpful to people by trying not to get in their way when dropping off children. Graham kept in touch every day to ensure we had everything we had asked for and the path is perfect and many parishioners have commented on the excellent work. I would definitely recommend Garden Revamps. Adding to this review as they have now finished the second section of work putting up a 6ft fence and two more gates covering a large area. Just as with the other job, arrived on time did the job professionally and worked hard to finish it for us. Looks great. Again would highly recommend and we will certainly use Garden Revamps again.

Graham and his team were excellent. Friendly, hard-working and a great price. The lads turned up early every day and did a fantastic job. Turned our derelict garden into a gorgeous patio and level grass area within a couple of weeks, around 140sqm. Their ideas on how to solve tricky challenges with differing heights and awkward corners were well thought out and their attention to detail was outstanding, they really care about what they do. Thank you Barry and Adam for all your hard graft and thank you Graham for managing everything in the limited time that you had.

We recently had our patio done with D&C Lawn Turf Specialists and are over the moon with the result! We couldn’t have asked for a better finished product! From the start communication was brilliant with extensive emails showing knowledge on the subject really helping us select the exact design and style we wanted with their recommendations and responses to our ideas. Work was completed to a very high standard and the attention to detail was immaculate. Everybody was extremely friendly and no question or concern was ever too much! Would recommend to anybody wanting any work done on their garden!

We had a drainage issue in our back garden that had been getting worse each year to the point where we couldn't walk on the grass. There was standing water everywhere. Dale and his team talked us through a solution, explained how it would work, dug the channels and pits, laid the pipes and grit, then layered the soil and sand on top before placing the turf neatly on top. The team worked really hard on this, it's a 10m x 10m garden and we couldn't get machinery down the side, so this was a big effort. They were really diligent in the way they went about the work, they kept us informed along the way... it was a pleasure to have them round! Ours is a new build garden, which are notorious for issues such as this. We knew the ground wasn't prepared properly and that we'd likely hit issues like this. Nothing was beyond the team, they made us feel reassured and thanks to their hard work it feels like we have our garden back again — and when the weather is nice, it's the biggest room in the house, so well worth the investment! Thanks guys, amazing work! Couldn't recommend you highly enough. Basically, if you just want a problem sorting, no matter what size/scale, these guys will sort it for you without a fuss.

Would 100% recommend D&C lawn turf specialists, Dale and his team are professional, polite & extremely hard working. They were also very accommodating with a last minute change in the scope of works to include a concrete base for an outhouse. They kept us informed of progress and estimated completion throughout and the final result exceeded our expectations. We were given comprehensive aftercare instructions and the lawn is already looking amazing. Dales attention to detail and professionalism was second to none, the before photos do not do justice to the task they faced of a new build garden that consisted of mainly puddles with quite an incline, we look forward to many years of a puddle free lawn! Dale and his team did an excellent job in putting in our new lawn and replacing the brick paving borders. The soil and turf used were top quality and the finished result is great. They quickly transformed a rubble filled hole to a lovely lawn. I do not hesitate to recommend then and will be using them again in the future for another section of lawn in our front garden. After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.

We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. Richard, Lottie and Andrew were incredible at taking on our garden full of stone, brick and artificial grass and clearing it all to create the beginnings of a beautiful garden. Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. Roy was fantastic ! Our fence had blown down in the bad storms we had recently, I called Roy after researching fencers in Leeds and he came up as one of the the highest rated. Roy was very polite and helpful, you can tell that he is very experienced and gave me sound advise on how he is going to do the repairs and gave me a very reasonable quote. The work was completed timely and without any mess, Roy is very hardworking he was working in sub zero temperatures and into the night just so he can get the work completed for me, I would have no hesitation employing Roy again. Lee and Sean came to do our garden renovation in the worst 2 days of the year. Lee rang the day before to confirm and they worked from the minute they got here at 8am - 5pm. Even in the rain. Atkinsons let us down with our promised delivery of our panels and on the 2nd day when they’d still not rung or delivered, Lee went over to Castleford to collect it in his van. They came back this week to sort the adjoining panels with out neighbours and what a job !! There was a wall underneath some strategically placed concrete posts. Wow these boys work !!! They sorted out next doors for them and even cut down some branches that overhang in our garden. Decking and shed painted... Lee rang someone he knew about the old fencing and The Waste Team were here within 20 mins to take it away. I’m gobsmacked at how amazing my “make do and mend garden” looks. We all need a makeover - especially nowadays. Thanks again lads. Told Hubby I’m gonna keep Absolute Gardeners on retainer.
