Jason did various jobs for my elderly mum. Chopped down a small tree, trimmed some bushes, cleared all the autumn leaves up and fixed a fence broken by the wind. Returned my call straight away, turned up on time and even rang me to let me know he had finished and my mum was really happy. A big thank you from me and my mum

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. The design by John and the installation by Darren and his team was of the highest quality. My uninteresting lawn with borders and a tiny patio was transformed into something wonderful with a pergola, raised pond, large planters and patio but still with enough grass for a game of football or cricket to satisfy the grandchildren. Darren and the boys worked virtually non-stop for 5 weeks, often arriving in early morning darkness. Their attention to detail was remarkable and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for", it is worth every penny. Visitors always comment at how wonderful the garden looks. Thank you to everyone involved, especially to Darren and the boys.

Hands down the best landscaping design and installation professionals in this region, if not the UK. The team are very patient and attentive to every detail in the garden. Our garden came a cost but we can say without doubt we are overjoyed with the outcome and the follow up service. John and his team have kept an eye on the garden to ensure the warranty period is honored and have been proactive in providing follow up care at no further cost. If you want outstanding design, installation and after care then you must go with these guys.

The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off. Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. Spending time in the garden today has proved a welcome escape from the wider world. I would highly recommend Austin Gardens and are now planning on getting the team to rework out back garden.

Richard, Lottie and Andrew were incredible at taking on our garden full of stone, brick and artificial grass and clearing it all to create the beginnings of a beautiful garden. They came at a really difficult personal time, and their kindness, patience and absolute competence allowed the work to continue without stress. It was wonderful to know that we could completely trust their advice and helped us make decisions as the project went on. They also went above and beyond to clean up the masses of mud created through such a big clearance job. Just a massive thank you to Richard and the team :)

Austin's Gardens were excellent when it came to designing, landscaping and planting my garden. Richard really listened to what I wanted, came up with imaginative ideas that fit my budget, and then delivered on time with work that was neat and professional throughout. He worked with other constructors (conservatory and driveway), and was flexible and an excellent communicator. Unreservedly recommend him and his team!

We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. We have just had our front and rear garden plus our driveway completely remodelled by Wren fencing and landscaping. I am so pleased with what Luke and his team have done. After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.

Kyle took on a very big challenge with our garden. Not only work wise but access wise as we are a mid terrace and access round the rear. KB Landscapes was recommended to us by two of my wife’s friends who they have also done some good work for. They completed a make over on our very overgrown and unsightly garden. Dale and his team did an excellent job in putting in our new lawn and replacing the brick paving borders. The soil and turf used were top quality and the finished result is great. They quickly transformed a rubble filled hole to a lovely lawn. I do not hesitate to recommend then and will be using them again in the future for another section of lawn in our front garden. We recently had our patio done with D&C Lawn Turf Specialists and are over the moon with the result! We couldn’t have asked for a better finished product! From the start communication was brilliant with extensive emails showing knowledge on the subject really helping us select the exact design and style we wanted with their recommendations and responses to our ideas. Would 100% recommend D&C lawn turf specialists, Dale and his team are professional, polite & extremely hard working. They were also very accommodating with a last minute change in the scope of works to include a concrete base for an outhouse. They kept us informed of progress and estimated completion throughout and the final result exceeded our expectations. We were given comprehensive aftercare instructions and the lawn is already looking amazing. Dales attention to detail and professionalism was second to none, the before photos do not do justice to the task they faced of a new build garden that consisted of mainly puddles with quite an incline, we look forward to many years of a puddle free lawn! We had a drainage issue in our back garden that had been getting worse each year to the point where we couldn't walk on the grass. There was standing water everywhere. Dale and his team talked us through a solution, explained how it would work, dug the channels and pits, laid the pipes and grit, then layered the soil and sand on top before placing the turf neatly on top. The team worked really hard on this, it's a 10m x 10m garden and we couldn't get machinery down the side, so this was a big effort. They were really diligent in the way they went about the work, they kept us informed along the way... it was a pleasure to have them round! Ours is a new build garden, which are notorious for issues such as this. We knew the ground wasn't prepared properly and that we'd likely hit issues like this. Nothing was beyond the team, they made us feel reassured and thanks to their hard work it feels like we have our garden back again — and when the weather is nice, it's the biggest room in the house, so well worth the investment! Thanks guys, amazing work! Couldn't recommend you highly enough. Basically, if you just want a problem sorting, no matter what size/scale, these guys will sort it for you without a fuss.
