I had been having such horrendous dental pain for the longest time. Townend managed to book me in for an emergency appointment a few months ago and since coming here all my pain has completely disappeared. I required some dental extractions and I had a huge fear of the dentist but this practise has truly been so incredibly warm and welcoming. From the receptionist to the dental nurses and the dentists themselves, such an incredible team full of brilliant service and compassion that goes such a long way. Thank you for all your help, I can finally go about my day to day without being in excruciating pain and crying all the time.

So helpful, empathetic and supportive. Went out of their way to help us. Eternally grateful especially after a terrible 4 days. So nice to find someone who listened and helped rectify the situation without any issues.

The whole team at the practice are absolutely amazing!! They are friendly, approachable and very professional. Suba and Shaun are perfectionists providing the highest quality dentistry and we are lucky to have them in Caterham.

This practise is the very best in every way! I used to be terrified of the dentist until I found Shaun and now I completely trust them. After checking the excellent reviews online I decided to give this dentist a try. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and I was booked in to see the hygienist the same day. Really impressed the hygienist was friendly and was so pleased with the results of my clean, would highly recommend.

A friendly, efficient and well resourced practice. The appointment reminder system is excellent and very hard to ignore. The only thing that irritates me a little is the use of online questionnaires to try to sell me additional services.

Richard is amazing with kids! We have been seeing him for many years. He has a great gift making the children laugh with his great sense of humour, but equally being professional. Would always recommend.

I suffer from major anxiety at dentists. From the moment I met Dr Bela, I felt safe. I've had four fillings and a crown rework, and at every point I've felt cared for by her, and the dental nurse Antonio's, utter professionalism and speed. Look, there's nothing fun about getting a filling, but all mine have been done with speed, great care and expertise. Yesterday, I had a bit of a panic attack, Dr Bela and the nurse were so generous with their patience and kindness, I felt very moved. I'd like to point out how lovely the staff are at reception too. Courteous, kind and warm. I'm a bit chatty and they never rush me! Dr Kataria saw me for a possible root canal and he could not have been gentler or kinder.

I had my first appointment with Dr Bela yesterday and I ended up having to have two filings. Dentists usually fill me with fear and panic but Dr Bela was so sweet and kind and I found I wasn’t worried at all. She talked me through all the steps and showed me exactly what she was doing with the camera the whole way through. I opted not to have any anaesthetic due to health reasons and Dr Bela was so gentle and made sure I barely felt it. Fantastic place I’m so chuffed and feel very reassured knowing I’m in very safe hands . Thank you .

I am most definitely not a fan of dentists. Today I had an amazing experience. Dr Kataria was such a caring patient person. Dr Kataria took time to explain and make sure I understood what he was going to do. He Showed me photos to explain the procedure. He is a very thoughtful person understanding the patient needs and making sure they are met. The technical experience he showed today was above and beyond. Dr Kataria showed so much patient with the treatment. I have never had such caring treatment and felt so relaxed. I left the dentist today feeling I had such a position experience . I was never in any discomfort during the treatment. Dr Katarias assistant was equally caring. I would have no doubt at all in reminding Dr Kataria

Timberhill is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Leanne and Carla are amazing hygienists - and I don’t say that lightly. Bella always has my best interests at heart and I genuinely look forward to seeing her, and Antonio is always helpful and friendly. Not to mention, Pam is a lovely receptionist and always a warm welcome. Thanks everyone!!

I would like to highly recommend the team in Dorking. I had been referred by my Horsham dentist to see Dr Pauline Lautard for Periodontal work and Sumeet Oberai for Prosthodontics composite bonding. I was anxious but l had no need to be. After Pauline numbed my gums l had no pain or discomfort throughout the procedure. With Sumeet numbing was not needed. He made me feel completely relaxed and again pain free. My teeth look very natural. I am absolutely thrilled.

I cannot recommend Surrey Dental Specialists highly enough! After a failed root canal elsewhere, I was referred to their incredible team for specialist treatment, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Lauren at reception was wonderfully polite, accommodating, and friendly, instantly putting me at ease. From the very first interaction, I felt I was in good hands. My treatment with Vipul Kataria was nothing short of amazing. I went in feeling very nervous, but his calm and reassuring manner quickly put me at ease. He explained everything thoroughly, was incredibly gentle, and I can honestly say I didn’t feel any pain throughout the procedure. Even the anesthetic injection, which I normally dread, was completely painless—an absolute first for me! Vipul’s attention to detail and his dedication to high standards were evident throughout. The teamwork between him and the brilliant dental nurse Emma was seamless. Together, they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. To my surprise, I experienced no pain at all after the procedure—not even the day after, which I found truly remarkable. Vipul, if you ever consider moving into general dentistry (though I know it might not be challenging enough for you!), please let me know. I would sign up as your regular patient in an instant! Well, no one really likes going to the dentist… but the care and attention to detail I have received from this practice is second to none. They will really look after you and they are experts in their work. Extremely kind and understanding of nervous patients and very personable. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. You couldn't ask for a better Dental Practice. I've been visiting the hygienist here for a few months now and she's been fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgable, informative, communicative and always asks me questions and checks on my comfort levels during the clean. I saw the dentist here also and she was also very professional, knowledgable and informative. I really like the way they explain what they're doing, WHY, the impact both long and short term and what I can and should do to improve. I would highly recommend this practice. It's clean, comfortable, welcoming and warm just like the staff. The ladies at the front desk are always smiley, helpful and professional. there's also the personal touch where they have a little joke and humour with you also.

My first check up visit here was super! Excellent young dentist, warm and very professional. He quickly identified issues, he was clear in explaining them to me and recommended treatments that fit my (NHS) budget. I saw the hygienist too and she was gentle and professional, she saw my sensitive teeth needed some part-anaesthetic which really helped as I had lots of build-up and gum redness; she left me clean and reassured. When I looked in the mirror I could see the darker areas of my teeth gone (which I thought could not be removed/cleaned), my teeth were shining again finally and no pain. Very satisfied and have already booked the next two appointments for both. It doesn’t look big from outside but it has lots of rooms (and friendly staff!), plus it’s right in front of the tram stop, and only few minutes from East Croydon station.

I called for an emergency appointment got one the same day. I am a nervous person when it comes to go to the dentist. But today I felt at ease . Lovely dentist who helped with my problem. And he’s assistant Faye was also brilliant. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Receptionist was great and gave a friendly welcome. Thank you .

It was first visit and I had taken my nephew too. The receptionist, a young man, was very kind and friendly. The dentist too was very professional and explained everything very well.

I had treatment here with Sara ... She is so lovely, and considerate... I am extremely happy with my treatment and results.

Having recently relocated to the area, I needed to find a new dentist so decided to try this practice (also having the start of a minor toothache, so decided to get on it sooner rather than later!). Dental nurse Larnie and Dentist Julia were both exceptionally nice and professional, dealing wonderfully with my nerves/dislike of dentist visits. Julia performed a very thorough exam and recommended a deep clean and removal/replacement of an existing filling which was failing. She made the deep clean as pleasant as that possibly can be, and even over the music I had playing I could hear her apologize when I flinched a couple of times at particularly sensitive spots, and she also maintained encouragement during the process. The filling was done very well, and she took great pains to ensure the bite was correct and natural before she was satisfied with the work. She did advise that the tooth may require root canal or extraction in the future, but for now we would go with the filling as they don't like to jump straight to more invasive procedures if they can be avoided. The office is immaculately clean and inviting and, even as a dentist-hater (sorry!) I have already made my six month check up appointment. I would definitely recommend this practice, and particularly Dr Julia for her skill, professionalism and compassion. Larnie was also lovely and encouraging throughout. 12/10 for sure

As a team they always do excellent work and are very thorough. Dr Isabel is very skilful and knowledgeable and explains everything in good detail and provides lots of options which is reassuring.
