I recently had to have a root canal filling, Dr Elena was brilliant. She explained everything before hand and successfully completed a tricky procedure. Very approachable and takes time to listen and encourage a nervous patient.

The Lorna Doone Dental Practice is small but that enables them to provide very personal service. All aspects of treatment are carried out in calming and reassuring surroundings. Procedures are clearly explained beforehand. The technology used by both the dentist and hygienist is of a high standard. Overall, the quality and results of treatment are higher than we have previously experienced in dental practice.

I had a dental emergency that caused me a lot of pain! My normal private dental clinic, who I am with for 3 years now, could not offer me an emergency appointment to have what appeared ro be a simple routine and minor procedure - I had to wait for 1 week to have an appointment...Dr Elena Birch, offered me an emergency appointment within 2 days of my desperate call to the practice, even though I was not a registered patient with them. She was very professional, but most importantly humane and empathic, and helped me at what was a true emergency! All communication from making the call, talking to reception, and having the procedure was easy and swift! I am really grateful for the help. Really lovely surgery with super friendly staff. I am always nervous before any treatments, I really hate needles and generally I am always stressed out. I just cannot stop thinking how bad I will feel and how much it will hurt but Elena is doing wonders. I didn’t feel anything of the injection and it worked so well, no pain, no discomfort at all! I felt I was in safe and quick hands during the whole procedure.

She is well qualified and my experience has been very positive especially with a very tricky root canal filling. David Birch is on reception duties and is very friendly with a good sense of humour.
