Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Adrian has just completed a job for us - he has fitted 5 internal doors to a very high standard - he was very punctual, clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble and he suggested that we put a door on the opposite way which now makes the room twice as big. First time using Art of Joinery. Very impressed by the quality of Artur’s work. Importantly, a very good honest guy. Very knowledgable and will always provide the best solution regardless of how difficult or how costly. Highly skilled and has top of the range tools to help achieve the finish. I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. Also, the care Stewart took when installing it was meticulous and showed how much pride he takes in his work. And rightly so. Photo to come soon!

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

Contacted Mike to provide a quote for some internal wooden doors. He came down and measured up and gave us a trade book to look through. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a quote which was really well priced. He fitted us in after a few weeks later and got 6 internal doors fitted along with hinges, locks and handles. He completed the job whilst we were in work so he is very trustworthy. The work was completed to a very high standard. He is very tidy and took time to clean up. I would 100% recommend using Mike for any joinery needs and would go to him again if I needed anything in the future. Top bloke. Thanks again 👍🏼
