I went to Hills for my MOT a couple of months ago, the guys there are so lovely and it was such a great price too. I’ve recently gone back to get my brake pads changed and Paul was so helpful and kept me up to date every step of the way, even letting me know the price before he did the work. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sort my car out. Like I said, the guys there are brilliant and I can’t recommend them enough!

I turned up at Hills with a dodgy exhaust without prior arrangement. They put it straight on the lift, diagnosed the problem and gave me a price within 20 minutes. Ready for collection the next working day and cheaper than quoted. It doesn't get much better than that. Great people and professional job. My new go to garage. Cheers.

Paul and the crew were extremely helpful with running diagnostics on my Fiesta and getting it through an MOT. It was great that they could fit me in at short notice and I had good communication from Paul throughout works undertaken on my car.

I nipped in on the off chance as my gear knob had come off, and I had no clue how to fix it. But a super easy job for someone who knows what their doing. John was amazingly helpful and friendly and fixed the issue within 2 minutes at no charge as I believe no parts were needed. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Booked in for MOT and Repairs over the phone. Arrived and was talked through the plan of action, which John seemed very confident and knowledgeable about. I needed a fair few repairs and whilst completing them John had greased any areas where necessary free of charge. I was expecting my car to be in the garage for a few days but they managed to source the needed parts the same day and I was able to drive home in the early afternoon. Customer service was excellent, I was even walked through and shown the repairs made with the new parts. Couldn’t recommend more, and it was especially nice that they didn’t talk to me like an idiot seeing as I’m a girl who clearly has no knowledge regarding cars.

Amazing help from John! My car had a flat battery in the train station car park & I walked down to ask if they had jump leads to help me start my car. John offered to keep my car in overnight on charge to ensure the battery was fully running again. Very helpful and lovely guys! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

So nice to take your car to someone you can trust to know what they're talking about and won't overcharge etc. After getting the initial recommendation I now travel quite far to use these guys, and every time I drop my car of I feel completely confident that it's in the best possible hands. This latest time my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree and I was prepared for a serious bill. It was quickly diagnosed to one relatively cheap faulty sensor and didn't cost the earth. Can't recommend them enough, if there were 6 stars I'd give them another one.

Called them and got booked in for the next day, had to replace all brake discs and pads, dropped the car at 11am and it was ready by 1pm, very fast and reliable service. They’re BMW specialist (the real ones certified from BMW Manchester) so there is no doubt they did a great job with my 520d brakes, driving comfort was like a brand new car. Prices are really reasonable and accessible to almost anyone for the high quality job they do. They became my one and only choice as mechanics, won’t go anywhere else from now on!!

One of the best BMW Specialist I dealt with Did a gearbox service front and rear diff and suspension arm. Very well priced and kept me informed all day and even had the car washed when I picked up which is the cherry on the top.

Once again, I can say that there's only 1 BMW specialst place you need to go to for all your repairs and service, if your looking for honest advise and excellent quality service at premium level but not at stupid priced like the main dealer, make sure you call the men at Daren Wood.

I was super impressed with the service I received from Jermaine today. I'm visiting my sister in Manchester from London. 2 days before we were due to go away, my car developed a number of issues. I called Jermaine after calling round several mobile mechanics and he he gave me the best quote. Then the very next morning he came out and fixed my car just in time for me to go away the next day. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Jermaine could have really taken advantage of the fact that I was in a rush and desperate for my car to be fixed ASAP but he didn't. This guy is the most genuine, salt of the earth mechanic I've come across. He came out to see me and did a thorough check of my vehicle, went through the stuff he spotted and options for repair. He has been very transparent about prices and time it would take to complete the job. He has communicated with me during the week about parts and confirming the day and time he would arrive which made it easy for me to plan my week.
