The staff here are really friendly and approachable. I’m not from the area, but work as a community nurse there. My car kept showing reduced engine power. They fixed the problem, pumped my tyres and even sort out some electrical issues on the day. Perfect service, didn’t cost me much and I would definitely recommend this mechanic for car issue 🙂

Not just excellent mechanic,he is an honest guy too. When I came to England bought my car and quoted a few garages for oil change prices I was surprised how expensive it is.As I went to ask Paul I realised the others said much more. Barely could speek English that time but he wouldn't rip me off. And this was 13 years ago. He is the man who I would never change, even for a Formula 1 car mechanic.

Great garage always fair pricing and advice, always tries to fit you in at last minute notice where possible. Easy to walk back from garage in to wigan Town center. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Wigan area.

Excellent Service as usual, I’ve booked the van in for a clutch today having my mot last week. Very genuine company and definitely do a great job They also give sound advice which is respected by many. Very reasonable prices, in July/August I will be going back for a full service 👌 The week before I went to have the mot done I took the owners dog for a “little” walk Along the canal into and around Haigh Hall and back to the garage by the canal. They were about to send a search party out for us though we were just having a good time 😂

Got recommened for my Daughter who took her car to sam for some work on her bumper cannot fault the body work sam did he even fixed a fault the previous body shop who fixed it the first time around had done ,a bit shoddy hence not taking it back there . Anymore accidents with any of our family cars 4 in total then we shall book in with sam to sort out for us .Also the price was good aswell and was booked in and returned in the time scale given so its 5***** from us.cheers sam 👍

I've used Jay-mech garage a while and they have never let me down. Car has been in a few times in the past 3 months with different suspension/steering noises. Jay-mech were able to diagnose and repair the issues. Reasonably priced and also provide you with information on repairs.

Super super garage, We use them for both our cars and my son and daughter in law use them now as well! Just recommended them to a friend at work. I’ve been using this garage now for over 4 years. Having multiple cars, this garage has been a godsend when it comes to MOT time. I’ve never found them anything but honest and down to earth. Something which is hard to find from a garage in the local area. If there’s anything my cars need or if it comes down to testing I won’t even bother looking elsewhere, sometimes I’ve found they have busy periods but clearly this is down to the quality level of work and service and is to be expected and in these cases well worth the wait.

The staff are friendly and very professional. Arrived today with an engine fault after replacement timing belt by main dealer. The fault was diagnosed and resolved without charge. Which is customer service of the highest standard. You can be sure I'll be back for MoTs and service again.
