First visit for Mother's Day afternoon tea - absolutely delightful! The food was prepared and served beautifully. Lots of variety and great value for the quality! Scones were some of the best we've had and the lovely ladies couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back again 😊

Lovely coffee and fantastic home-made cakes. Very friendly service and we felt like valued customers even though it was our first visit. Lost 1 star because they do not allow dogs inside (too cold to sit at the tables and chairs outside, but there was a dog bowl outside).

Wow! Found this lovely cafe by chance today. We fastened our bikes up and sat inside the food was delicious and well presented, very reasonable too.

20 of us visited for a Baby Shower. Nothing was too much trouble for Pauline and her staff member - we were welcomed, treated so well and the catering for 20 x afternoon tea was excellent! Food delicious and such great selections and value for money! We set out to support a small business and got so much back from them! Highly recommended and we will all be back, but maybe in smaller groups! Thank you so much!!

Went in with some old friends for breakfast, Andrea and Karen made us feel really welcome and sorted us a bigger table straight away. The place is set up brilliantly for it, with a great toy corner to keep little ones entertained. Food was spot on and great value, good selection of drinks and homemade buns were an added bonus. Will definitely be in again, either with kids or just for a quiet coffee and a chat.

My friend and I preordered afternoon tea as a birthday treat for an elderly lady. On arrival our table was ready for us, and our food was served promptly and pleasantly. There was a good balance of savoury and sweet, and everything was very tasty. The staff were attentive, and we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Would certainly enjoy this again.

I absolutely love coming to Andrea’s cafe in Walton. The cakes she makes are delicious and prepared fresh every day. The staff are really friendly and there is a home from home atmosphere. This is now my go to place to meet friends for coffee.

A very good English breakfast at a great price! The Cabin does different-sized breakfasts, what you get for each size is marked on the menu, which I like. They trim the fat from the thick and extremely tasty bacon, beautiful sausage and not a single grease mark on the plate! What more could you ask for?

Our first time at Buttons , I live local and drive past it every day. We had a girls lunch out. We didn't realise they had a heated barn area to sit in, so this was an added bonus. We we all very impressed. Excellent food , I had full breakfast and a cup of tea £10. My friend had the button burger which was highly recommended. All cooked to perfection. You order and they bring it to you in the barn seating area. Lovely choice of seating arrangements and throws to put around you in this chilly weather, plus it was heated as well. Well priced , lovely food , lovely service , we will be back. Dog friendly as well .

I've called at Buttons several times while out on my walks and always received quality food and drink and excellent service. This Boxing Day morning, we tried something very different, all our grandkids in one place at the same time. It was a big challenge, but Buttons were up for it. Sandwiches were pre ordered for sixteen of us, ageing one to eighty-five. Upon arrival, the kids had complementary chocolates, and us older folk had to make do with complementary bucks fizz (mmmm, nice). We had plenty of space at a couple of reserved tables in the sheltered undercover area. Hot drinks were served, and our breakfast sandwiches were cooked fresh for us. The food was top quality as always. Thank you so much to the ladies at Buttons, who made a special morning extra special today. Every one of our party commented on how nice the whole experience had been.

Lovely, lovely place. Masked up visit today with partner ...when we were asked where we were going to eat our food having requested 'take out' the team opened the garden area and were so lovely. The food and coffee were absolutely brilliant. Our happy place ...gorgeous new ring too. Thank you

The Spring is a wonderful little find. Food is exceptionally good with service to match. There is outdoor seating as well as a spacious indoor dining area that is part charity shop. You can pay by cash or card in the cafe and shop. All staff are helpful and welcoming. Reservations can also be made and on hot days if wanting a table outside it is probably best to do as this appears to be popular with locals.

Beautiful food platters. Julie really went above and beyond to help us out last minute with gorgeous sandwich and sausage roll/pork pie platters. And a very reasonable price. Can highly recommend her for your catering events. We must support local businesses. Thank you Julie.

Tried Julie's for the first time for a takeaway go large Bacon, Sausage and Black Pudding sandwich. Friendly service and made fresh to order, beautifully wrapped for me to take home. Very tasty. Hope to be back again soon 🤤

Absolutely lovely little sandwich shop loads of options and really well priced. The two ladies who work there are so lovely and there’s even a nice seating area if you want to sit in best place for a sarnie in Wakefield by far

As a fan of the Peddlar Markets and also The Distillery next door, I wanted to try the revamped cafe. I visited at 2pm and it was very quiet. I ordered a smash burger which came with chips. The food was lovely. Service was quick and staff were very friendly and chatty. Prices are good too. I'll be back to try out more dishes. Opening hours are limited which is a shame as this is somewhere I'd consider for a quick bite over the weekend whilst out and about shopping.

I had the pleasure of having a coffee here a few days ago - due to a cancelled train. I can tell you: I am happy it got cancelled! This place is a little gem! The staff are so polite, attentive and so professional. My coffee was delicious (best flat white ever!). Excellent service/atmosphere and an immaculate place, brilliant.

Had an hour wait before our train. Enjoyed a couple of drinks in here whilst waiting. Very friendly staff. Food served to others was prepared freshly and looked good. Much better service and value than a chain

Good to see the café on the station as reopened. The station it's self is very basic no facilities that's worth a mention. Sure the cafe will do really well, good selection of drinks and snacks. At least I can get a coffee when delayed, or before bordering.

Nice modern cafe with comfortable seating and powerpoints. Coffee and hot chocolate both nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Good to have a staff presence on the station and the station overall feels a lot more of a welcoming, modern and vibrant place than it used to.

The best cafe, 10/10 service and food. Such a lovely open, airy space with plenty of seating. Variety of amazing dishes to try from the menu and the coffee is always lovely. Definitely worth popping in if you’re in the area. This morning I tried the breakfast burger and it was delicious. Look forward to coming back 😊

Love love love it. Fabulous breakfast, probably one of the best full English I have had. There's a lot of very nice food to suit all tastes on the breakfast menu. Service from the lovely polite and friendly staff can't be faulted either. A real hidden gem. If I lived any closer I'd be there every day!

What a fantastic place this is. Really well run and the chef is great. Their themed food evenings are excellent. The food is second to none and not over priced. Their wine choice is impressive and the service is on point. Thanks guys we'll be back.

The food is very good, you have to wait a bit if you want to eat something fresh and good, so don't expect to be served directly. One thing I don't like is that they don't prepare any of the cakes they have displayed at the entrance.

Called one Saturday morning "pre shopping". It was nice and quiet as it was early on. Food arrived pretty quickly and was plentiful. It was nice and tasty with plenty on the plate. Only criticism, the door was open so it quickly cooled the food and the drinks. Sausages could have done with a little more colour too, they were very pale. When we visited, they did not take card pay so ensure you have cash with you.

This is my first time ordering from this place, and I am not disappointed. I ordered the large breakfast, and it was amazing! I was also given a complimentary chocolate wagon wheel, which was a delightful surprise. Everything was also individually wrapped in foil, which kept everything warm. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice little cafe serving good honest food at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend the home made chips! Dog friendly and lovely friendly team of people. Waffle loved the sausages!
