I have been to many country parks and this one I have to say is one of my favourites. There is a viaduct in the park and a river running under it my family had a nice splash around, if I’d known about it before I came I would’ve got them a towel and appropriate clothing. Really nice for a walk and picnic. Would love to return again and explore a different area.

One of the best places to be in Manchester. Inside the vale, it feels like in the wild. You can smell the earth, hear the dancing leaves in the wind, feel life around you. If you live in Manchester - come for a walk. You will love it.
Beautiful country park with a wide range of wildlife. There are toilets and sometimes a coffee van ran by a lovely company that parks up. There are a lot of ponds and rivers and a small woodland area. Great for running cycling photography fishing walks and picnics. Hill up and down is quite steep but there is a small carpark
Me and my grandchildren had the most magical day at Reddish Vale yesterday. If you’re thinking of going to see Father Christmas with the little ones this is the place to go. They have thought of everything down to the last detail, elf workshop, gingerbread decoration, North Pole post office, singing reindeers and loads more My only regret is that this didn’t exist when my children were little
