Great little coffee shop, had half an hour to kill and popped in for a quick snack. Ham, cheese and mushroom toastie with salad together with a large latte. Saw the fresh pastries and couldn't help but get a strawberry danish.

Brilliant friendly place to come and chill out and drink/eat excellent tasty food. Anita is one special friendly lady x

MUST VISIT. We chose this place from the Google reviews and were very impressed. Moumita is a brilliant host, very welcoming and beautiful. We had the full breakfast one small one big. Perfectly sized, the ingredients are all locally sourced, traditional butchers sausage and bacon, bury black pudding 👌 and fully free range farm eggs, bakery toast. Moumita Cooked it all perfectly and in good time. Lovely tea coffee. It’s the best English breakfast I have ever had… and I have a lot. Will definitely be calling again. Don’t miss out! It’s that good 👌

The library, museum, and aquarium housed in the beautiful georgian splendour of le mans crescent in bolton, finally get the cafe for food and drink option the place has been crying out for. Popped in to do a little work, coffee and a mid-morning snack. Pastries from 50p offer great value alongside the americano, a little expensive at £3 but thats okay given the peaceful clean surroundings. The pain au chocolat was nothing special but for 50p it made a nice accompaniment to my coffee. Thr building is gorgeous and has been, for the most part, tastefully restyled. For digital nomads decent wifi (download speeds 163mbps) and power points in a quiet calm emvironment are perfect. Its spacious and light. Whats not to like? I'd love it if they got licensed and offered a glass of wine with lunch but hey ho, its a start.

Beautiful little cafe, got a sandwich, some pastries and a coffee to go on my way to work and they were so fresh and tasty, would highly recommend this spot!

You catered excellently for our 100 delegates. The food and refreshments were very good with lots of choice (including some special requests). The service was excellent, lovely friendly team. Clean areas and set up and clearing away was prompt. Thank you!

Oh what a night!! Having my 50th at The Drop Off was such a special occasion for me, it is simply the most phenomenal function room which creates an amazing atmosphere for all the guests. The lighting, the acoustics for the band, the dance floor all worked together to create a brilliant night. Working with Moira and Bryn planning the night was perfect, so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about it all. On the night Nathan ran the bar effortlessly and full of character. All that came were full of praise for you all in what you’ve created, you should be immensely proud of yourselves!! I cannot thank you enough for making my 50th a night I’ll never forget!!!

I had chosen The Drop Off for my 50th celebrations and they did not disappoint. Both Moira and Bryn looked after me so well and on the evening itself they were on hand to help out, nothing was too much trouble. All my guests commented on ‘the vibe’ and how gorgeous it was. For the buffet, I decided to go for the pies, chips, mushy peas and gravy…..wow it was delicious. If you’re looking a venue with the wow factor The Drop Off is for you. I highly recommend it 😊

Came in today and ordered hot chocolates, they were absolutely delicious!! All of the staff were friendly and service was quick. The chairs were comfortable and the atmosphere was cosy. Loved it, will come back sometime again:)

Never knew this existed, first time visit today but won't be the last, beautifully situated , plenty of parking, lovely food and great ambience, would definitely book before going as busy.

Lotties is a proper little gem, the staff are great and service is always with a smile. The food is great quality and good servings. Drinks are fantastic. The setting is perfect with great views. Definitely a must if you're in the area.

Excellent overall. Service was second to none. I have never been in a place so clean from the table to the toilets. Spotless. Girls all in uniform that looked lovely so friendly polite and helpful with menu. I would recommend this place. Food was lovely and leaf tea which I love. Owner is a lovely lady.

Found here by random chances, because we were trying to hide from the rain showers outside, gladly walked into this lovely tea room for a rest, got the signature Leckenbys Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows, also got the afternoon tea set, comes with scones, cream cheese, strawberry jam, and the cakes specials. Everything is fine, tastes fantastic and the staff are very nice and friendly, introduced the menu to us very patiently, definitely had a pleasant time during our stay at this beautifully decorated tea room, love it so much indeed !

Cosy little coffee shop, stopped by for a quick brunch. Had the salmon & egg on their artisanal bread which was great and a lovely cappuccino. Staff were delightful and attentive, I can see myself coming back in the future.

Great service, a really lovely team working hard in ever changing circumstances. The coffee here is second to none and they bake their own artisan bread, which was so delicious and really made the breakfast. I was pleased to see the egg yolk was a lovely orange colour, which says to me they use excellent quality ingredients. I've been to too many places and been served pale yellow eggs and it puts me off as you know they are just the cheapest bulk buy eggs and probably not ethical or sustainable. Will be coming back here a lot in the future, really glad my colleague recommended it.

Had lunch, visiting from Florida my friends took me here, very very nice place, food was excellent service was very good as well highly recommended would definitely come back.

Fantastic from start to finish. From the food which was faultless & very reasonably priced for the quality. The staff which are so friendly & welcoming, from the 2 gentleman at the door when you enter, welcoming staff front of house & servers, all are friendly & do what they can to make your visit as perfect as possible, especially a tall guy called Miltos. If you want a 5* experience at an average price, you will not be disappointed

Yet again, a fantastic meal at The Ivy! Fantastic service throughout from our server, amazingly tasty food. And honestly, it's not massively expensive... yes a little more than what you'd pay in a Spoons, but the food is top notch devine with a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful, personal service! It's our treat. You can pay less than £20 for a two course meal. Also, the App gave an amazing offer... double points... whoop! Thank you once again for an amazing experience.

We were initially drawn to the restaurant by its impressive exterior, and once inside, we were delighted by the stunning ambiance. While the staff were polite, they didn’t come across as particularly warm, though they were still accommodating. The food was decent, though not extraordinary. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we received a complimentary cake after our meal, which was a thoughtful touch and appreciated for the occasion. The restroom, located upstairs, was beautifully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the place. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, with a few small areas for improvement in service, but the hospitality and atmosphere made it memorable.

Had the most delightful Sunday brunch here! Greeted warmly by the Roof Terrace hostess, set the scene for a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was exceptional, really delicious , which combined with 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 attentive service from George, made for a most enjoyable and sociable Sunday! Highly recommended! 👌👍😋💋xx

Great little casual restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The food is fresh and tastes really good. Very well priced. The atmosphere when this restaurant is busy is hard to beat. The only downside is the very limited parking. On a return visit to the restaurant, we were seated in a covered outside area at the back of the restaurant, on a very cold night. Whilst there were two large heaters in there, it still felt cold. The service and food were still very good, but if we'd known in advance that we'd be seated in this area, we'd have cancelled the booking. Only two other tables became occupied in this area whilst we were there and we'd have preferred the option of waiting for a table in the main building.

Warm, friendly, great atmosphere with whole families having fun. The fried calzone was a great twist on a firm favourite. Well done.

Great food with great service. Visited Monday mid afternoon and we got 2 x 3 course meals, 2 additional sides and 2 large drinks for £60. The lasagna was exceptional - there is also a deal on during the week for selected mains. Will definitely be back.

Lovely wee cafe, quirky and welcoming. Good with dogs, allergies and accessibility, only problem is that toilets are up stairs unless you leave the venue and go back in through another entrance.

The Reading Room at The Barlow, next to Edgworth's cricket club and bowling green is a community spirited cafe which is interestingly appointed as a reading room as opposed to a typical cafe. Dog friendly, the haunt attracts regular custom which it satisfies with decent fare at reasonable prices.

Beautiful building, brilliant park behind for the children, great cricket ground adjacent and stunning views across! The ice cream parlor a short walk up the hill was an added bonus too! (The white horse pub is up the same hill for the thirsty/stressed mums n dad's too, also highly recommended!!) Beautiful stress free part of the area!

Visited here on the 22nd October 2024. It opened at 9am and there was a small queue waiting at 8:45am when we arrived. Upon opening, we were warmly welcomed and the place gradually started to fill up with a nice vibe. Both myself and my work colleague had breakfast and coffees. Food and drink was excellent, well presented and good quality. Staff were friendly and attentive, but not over bearing. It will definitely be my go to place on further visits to Bolton.

I visit Luciano's regularly to meet up with friends. I have enjoyed coffee only, breakfast and lunches. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food and coffee always delicious. Good price range. Must try an evening meal here soon!
