Visited here this evening for an evening meal with my partner & 2 children hadn’t booked but was found a table promptly. Our server Liam was a bubbly individual extremely polite & very friendly & above all very attentive making sure we had all we needed, I work in hospitality myself & know how demanding the role can be despite this Liam had a smile throughout despite being fairly busy. Top marks for that 👍🏼 The food was beautiful & good value for money all 4 of us cleared our plates including my fussy eating daughter which is rare. Overall experience was 5* and we will definitely be back!!!
A lovely surprise how good this was. The food was excellent beautifully presented tasty and good size portions. Friendly helpful service and a lovely clean pub environment. Great beers. Will definitely be going again. Really enjoyed it
I have just returned from my Christmas lunch at the Griffin. What can I say, from first arriving to leaving it was a perfect day. The food was in abundance, the starter I had was salmon was gorgeous, well presented and served by lovely smiley young ladies. I then had the turkey. Wow, the plate was full of well cooked food, hot and very tasty. I then had Christmas pudding, that was delicious. I would like to express my compliments to the chef and all the staff who worked so hard to make the day special. There were no complaints from any of us and we had a table of 13 some having beef, and a different pudding but all said it was absolutely great. Thank you 😊 💓 Also thanks to the landlord and landlady who stood around constantly to make sure their ship ran smooth, which it did. Thank you 😊
First ever visit to The Griffin. It was curry Thursday. Absolutely beautiful best curry I have had for a long time. The service was fantastic from walking in we were greeted by Jack and he looked after us through the meal. Will be visiting again soon and will recommend to family and friends.
