The Best Cafes in Middleton, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom (2025)

Came today for a quick coffee and breakfast with my partner. Weather was great so we sat outside. Very quick service, food was outstanding, coffee was great and prices were exceptional. Definitely a new spot for us for the future, great all around highly recommended!

Fantastic local cafe serving great food and expertly made coffees. Since we discovered Amigo's, we always come by for breakfast, brunches and lunch. Staff are always friendly, and even when the place is packed out busy, food still arrives very quickly, and the quality is always consistently delicious. Very happy there's somewhere like this in Middleton. They're also family friendly and have high chairs and items suitable for children on the menu. It's also a brilliant workspace as they have free WiFi and some seating adjacent to plug sockets for charging any devices. P.S - Please excuse our photos, we would've taken more but my wife was too eager to get stuck in to her food on this visit (hence the poached egg she already started on). Coffees also looked brilliant, but again, we wouldn't be doing this place justice if we posted photos up of half drunken coffees!

Always fabulous, immaculate prepared and cooked food, clean always and such a pleasant young lady taking the orders, best café in the area for me👍

I always buy a breakfast wrap every Friday morning it fell on the floor which was my fault I don’t have his name but both lads in there made me one really quickly and replaced the full wrap. That’s great customer service and the foods always hot and on point and fresh best caffe in Middleton for sure wouldn’t go anywhere else. 5 stars for both guys at amigos

The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much . It is very comfortable to relax . They also have different club to go to.

I am a volunteer here on Tuesday and Thursday evenings so don't know about the food but there is a friendly relaxed atmosphere

Lovely experience. All staff were lovely .we had a special room as we were a group. The group paid for a a lovely luncheon. Thank you .

Food = Consistently amazing. Service = Friendly, chatty and can have a laugh. Atmosphere = Exactly what you’d expect from a top café. They may only be a small Middleton Cafe but JJ’s is out of this world. 100% Recommend!

Can’t recommend enough. Food is always lovely. Today my hash browns in the breakfast were missing (mistakes happen not a problem we are only human after all) however within 3 minutes of calling the chef had drove and delivered them to me. Now that is customer service and an example to others in how it should be done. Well done jj’s and thank you again

A proper cafe / takeaway shop , I had a small breakfast , it's was served hot & fresh, bacon was thick , the opion of a glass of orange was refreshing , I will be returning because I've got a welding round the corner , lucky me xx see pics

Me and my daughter have ordered here a few times.. the cold sandwiches are Devine.. the cornbeef salad with no lettuce is what a order and it’s packed every time.. the staff are really nice and friendly..

I've had the breakfast from here through Just Eat a couple of times and I've eaten in once, Lenas have never been disappointed. I had the mega breakfast on Just Eat today and for £7 you definitely get more for what you paid for. The portion was excellent, the bacon alone was big, plus the meal was absolutely delicious. 10/10

What a find I was going to another cafe, I’m very pleased I stopped here. This is a cash only cafe though thoroughly worth a visit. I had rag pudding !! What’s that ? Similar to a steak pudding in Preston. Toilets exceptionally clean. Excellent communication from the staff and very good service. All tables cleaned and ready for next customers staff on are the ball even when the dishwasher was broke they managed to keep on top of things. Indoors and outdoors seating A very nicely decorated cafe and very clean. Highly Recommended 👍

Ordered the breakfast special with a brew. The mushrooms were nice, tomato was alright and egg was not bad. The beans were like warm and the sausage was standard catering type. The bacon was a bit fatty. All in all, not bad. Decent brekky at reasonable price.

Had my birthday breakfast here with friends and family. Love the food here and service lovely as always 😍 only thing is they don't take card, so cash only. Would 100% recommend 👌

Very friendly and welcoming staff, chilled atmosphere. Loved it and would highly recommend. My daughter and I will be returning for breakfast.
