Laco Cafe&Bistro is a hidden gem that I visit whenever I get a chance. Even with my limited free time, it’s a spot that never disappoints. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit feel like a mini escape. Their menu has a great range of delicious options, always fresh and thoughtfully prepared, whether you’re in the mood for a light snack or a full meal. If you’re looking for a place that combines quality food with a welcoming vibe, Laco Cafe&Bistro is perfect for both quick stops and lingering when time allows.

had the French toast with an iced vanilla latte, and they were absolutely sensational! The French toast was incredibly soft and fluffy, bursting with flavour – easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The coffee? Sheer perfection. The iced vanilla latte was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just what I needed. To top it off, the owner, Marian, is such a lovely person, which made the whole experience even better. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

The place is not very large, and you need to wait in line to get in. The serving speed is not very fast, but the food is quite good. However, the drinks could be improved—my cappuccino was a bit weak. The staff are very polite and courteous.

If you are in or near Stockport, I would recommend maybe walking by or something to see if it is or will be open. I went to look at this place with the family, but it was not open when Google Maps said that it should have been open at the time (This was twice, if I correctly recall). We plan on walking by it again tomorrow; hopefully, it will be open when it should be so. Edit (15/2/2025): Managed to visit with the family, at an earlier point. Tried the French Toast, and while it was quite filling (due to how much there is), it was nice. Also had a mocha, and it was good. As for moving in the building, it can probably be relatively busy, so I would maintain basic caution, but you should be fine.

What a beautiful little cafe. Staff are super friendly, regulars are a plenty and my sausage barm was super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

We ordered a Christmas eve platter, it was absolutely amazing, the food was excellent & the presentation was lovely, all tied up in a big bow. It was perfect, no cooking for me & it also lasted us for Christmas day evening too & delivered straight to my door! I'd definitely recommend, if I ever need a buffet in the future I'll know where to go. Thankyou.

Absolutely brilliant spot for breakfast- staff were absolutely lovely, couldn’t do enough for us! The breakfasts were all lovely, perfectly cooked and big portions and the cookies we had after were amazing. Fantastic value for money, very welcoming and I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area

Found this today by accident as we pushed our grandson out in his trolley. Lovely people and great coffee. Good prices too ! Choices of non dairy milk and although we didn’t eat on this occasion, I noticed vegan alternatives which is wonderful! Thank you

I love this place. We visit the hideout every weekend either for a sit in full English or breakfast barms to takeaway and every weekend they are absolute perfection! Richard and his staff are second to none, service is always great and the prices are very reasonable. Great value for money (&quality!). Their barbecue events are equally great. The food is delicious and with such a friendly atmosphere you really can't go wrong. I also love their home made Portuguese tarts, that are usually sold every Sunday 😍 Support local! ❤️

Nothing is to much trouble at the castle. I am a regular with my family. The breakfasts are lovely with a nice range. You can have a healthy Day or a naughty day with lots of choice. Really enjoying going here nice calm atmosphere. Lovely staff as well.

Super friendly and welcoming, extensive and good value menu, delicious food. Wheelchair ramp is available (only had pram today but other child is a wheelchair user), had decaff coffee and oat milk which is fab. Only thing id change would be to add vegan options and nice caked (though there are waffles and pancakes with loads of topping options). Definitely be back again highly recommend.

Cozy local café with a wide range of inclusive food options. We had a Veganzilla breakfast each (pictured) and the presence of a ‘large’ vegan cooked breakfast option, let alone a range of options, was a very pleasant and rare surprise when you’re used to just one in most places. Pleasant decor and atmosphere, child and dog friendly, just an all-round nice local coffee spot!

Arrived in Stockport just in time for lunch on Friday. Needed a gluten and egg free option and the chef went all out to cater for me. Hash brown, avocado, halloumi, roasted red peppers with seeds and sweet chili sauce, yum! Loved it so much, went back Saturday for more lunch. Added bacon tonthe dish and it was delish!

What a fabulous local cafe. The staff are incredible warm and welcoming, will happily adapt food to meet dietary needs too. Just had a delicious vegan brekkie.

My grandaughter and I had the afternoon tea today and it was excellent. Good selection of freshly made sandwiches with a salad garnish and home made coleslaw followed by scones jam and cream and a slice of lemon drizzle cake with a pot of tea. 👍

Nice good decoration little cafe. Nearby the stepping hill hospital. Food is fresh and delicious. Price is reasonable.Good decoration. It has a garden. Also available for garden parties. Not have entrance for wheelchair. I have day special salmon with mashed avocado. Highly recommend.

I really like the atmosphere, good hot chocolate and nice interior. This is a calm and good place to study or chill with friends . The food drinks and cakes are worthwhile. If you are up for a fresh place and beautiful cozy architecture then this is a must try . Also the staff was very warm and welcoming 😍♥️ will defo be visiting again .

Had a lovely full English here yesterday. It was delicious. Lovely setting despite the rain. Good tea and coffee too. Really enjoyable and all the staff were friendly and kind. Wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend

This is a lovely little cafe on Pepper Road Industrial Estate and you can takeaway. I had a mango and berry smoothie and a sweet chilli and cheese panini. Both were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

I stopped here today to have a quick lunch whilst working, avocado bagel. It was superb! Staff couldn’t be helpful enough explaining the other vegan options on the menu for me. I also love the fact they don’t charge any extra for milk alternatives, making it feel so inclusive for all dietary preferences. Will definitely be back!

Lovely small cafe on pepper road, located in the vicinity of different corporate offices. You can order coffee, croissants, cakes, and even salad there. Perfect place for a brunch break to have chitchat with friends and colleagues. Highly recommended.

What can I say, this is the best Italian Restaraunt we have ever been to. Both the service and food was impeccable and seriously underrated. Jinyu was absolutely amazing, such an attentive and delightful waitress and she made a lovely evening even better. The carbonara was the first authentic Italian that we’ve had after spending years looking for one. If you have a passion for Italian food made with love and served by kind people, you will struggle to do better in Exeter. 5*s and we will definitely be returning.

Had an excellent French omelette with a Greek salad for lunch (yes I know it’s Italian but just what I needed!). Very good

Great breakfast, good price's, attentive friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Dog friendly too. Car park at rear. 100% would definitely recommend. The coffeee is great too.

Me and my daughter had the most delicious veggie breakfast here on Sunday. It was so good, perfect scrambled eggs, and lovely friendly staff. It was really near their closing time which we hadn’t realized when we went in but we were made to feel so welcome and there was a lovely atmosphere. There were obviously some older customers that were regulars and the owner was taking the time to listen to them and it was lovely to see!

This is my fav spot of all time ❤️ A heartfelt warm all day breakfast to start my day! We always enjoy the generous portion of food here. The cakes brighten up my day too. Must try different pie and brownies, dont miss it🍰

We had 2 Bakehouse breakfasts with coffee this morning at The Bakehouse. Food was excellent along with the coffee. Staff were very helpful and chatty. Definitely going to go back. Also took some homemade Victoria sponge and carrot cake home to enjoy later..Very nice it was too..

Overall my visit here was great, lovely coffee and cake along with very friendly service. The only disappointment was being presented with my bill exactly 2 hours after arriving and being asked to settle up and leave. I fully understand this rule when the cafe is busy but in my case it was due to close in 20 mins and was pretty empty so thought this was a little unnecessary.

We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!
