Caffè Rosso
17 Wigan Ln, Wigan WN1 1XR, UK
Phone: 01942 581609
“Very nice little cafe on Wigan Lane, we both had toasties. Cheese, ham and tomato, and a bacon melt. Good, quality thick bread with a good amount of filling. The toastie comes with slaw, salad and crisps, I think they were about £12. Lovely, friendly staff and it got busy very quickly! We didn't book but others had, so I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment. I'm definitely returning soon!”

“Always eat here every week and love the food and the service we received. The below 1 star comment is rubbish they did want to pay for the food (just wanting a free meal) they were threatening towards staff (I was there!) I ate the same food and it was cooked to perfection and there nothing wrong with the food quality as they both came out the same time. How can people do this to a lovely local small business? I would wholly recommend!!! Food is well priced delicious and all home made. I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and some of the delicious homemade cakes and the only feeling I have received is fullness and content. Trish, Nigel and the team do a fantastic job and go above and beyond for their customers and team.”

“Great service, a really lovely team working hard in ever changing circumstances. The coffee here is second to none and they bake their own artisan bread, which was so delicious and really made the breakfast. I was pleased to see the egg yolk was a lovely orange colour, which says to me they use excellent quality ingredients. I've been to too many places and been served pale yellow eggs and it puts me off as you know they are just the cheapest bulk buy eggs and probably not ethical or sustainable. Will be coming back here a lot in the future, really glad my colleague recommended it.”

Ezra & Gil

“Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .”

“This is my first time having an afternoon tea. I love the theme, the food was delicious, freshly made and the scones was lovely, warm and not dry.
