A lovely jubbly pub. Nothing 'Hooky' about this bar, apart from you need to be millionaires to drink there!
We recently held my husband's wake here. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The buffet food was lovely. Thank you for making this difficult occasion easier to organise.
I booked a table for 8 people, the service was friendly and efficient, all my guests were served together, not the case in other restaurants. Food was good quality, and enjoyed by all. We’ll done The Chequers
Great experience from booking to leaving... Staff very friendly when booking... Got there, very polite and friendly staff, superb Sunday roast and desserts, good prices. On top of that, lovely pub, huge garden. Can't wait to come back.
Lovely food again today at the pub. Christmas eve was busy and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend you try the steak 🥩👍👍
