Coming here during weekday afternoon there’s no queue at all, got the chance to visit their biggest branch before but this time wanted to try different branch. The vibes always lively yet warm and cozy. Coming here twice both ordered Turkish eggs, it was creamy, fulfilling and ✨the sauce✨ still amazing. Coffee both bold and strong, the drink also has various options depending on your preferences. If you’re in Manchester looking for a outstanding food and delicious coffee you should check this one out

I ordered French toast and a bloody Mary! The French toast was absolutely amazing and very filling. The bloody Mary was perfect level of spiciness. quaint interior. well decorated. clean facility and really kind staff. The food and drinks were made promptly (fresh, not frozen)

Came for breakfast for the first time on Sunday and it was so good we had to go again on Monday! Food is absolutely delicious and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Also one of the best chai lattes I have ever had

Visited on Christmas Eve and had a lovely evening! Our waiters Amelia and Liam were absolutely wonderful and made the whole evening really enjoyable, always making sure we had enough to drink and were happy with our meals- absolutely 5* service. A lovely place in Manchester for an occasion.

We enjoyed the private dining experience with Marco as our waiter. We had canapés to start, followed by the three course menu. The food was delicious. There was a nice choice of drinks so our guests all had options they liked. Special thanks to Marco who really went above and beyond to look after our guests & us. Marco is a real asset to the Browns Team.

Absolutely superb place - set in an old historic bank with plenty of marble lining the walls, this is an iconic location for a meal or simply a drink. The service was second to none. We had a friendly bar tender, Oscar, who just made things easy for us. We had the 2 courses for £18.95 menu; effortlessly delicious. Highly recommend

Food was amazing. Had the valentines menu. Well worth the money. Staff was amazing. Heidi kept us topped with drinks. Didn’t have to wait at all really for any part of the evening. Live pianist was a great touch. Stunning building and unique architecture. We’ll work the splash for the experience of this place.

Such a lovely atmosphere and cute vibe. I bring my mom to enjoy the afternoon tea and it was perfect. I loved the scone so much. It was fluffy and perfectly match with cream and jam. I also loved the brunch and rest of the cake and tea as well. Definitely recommend🥰

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve the best hot chocolates and probably one of the best brownies within Manchester! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

I recently visited Sugar Junction with a friend, and we had an absolutely delightful experience! 🥰 Lavender Latte ☕️ This was a highlight of my order. The latte had a beautifully subtle floral aroma without being overpowering. The balance of sweetness and lavender notes was spot on, and the creaminess of the milk made it incredibly comforting. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for something unique yet satisfying. Scone with Cream and Jam 🥯 The scone was fresh and had a perfectly crumbly texture that paired excellently with the thick, rich clotted cream and fruity jam. Each bite felt like a little bit of heaven. Ambiance & Service ✨ The cafe itself has such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Sugar Junction delivered delicious drinks, heavenly scones, and a relaxing ambience on every front. I visited Fig + Sparrow based on the numerous 5* reviews on Google. I came on a Friday at 1pm, and it wasn’t too busy. Perhaps 50% of the place was full. There is a good amount of seating available, and when I arrived, there was a small but delicious-looking selection of pastries and bakes on the counter. There is always a wide variety of drinks available on the menu, and a bar at the back which serves savoury food. I asked the lady if the counter items were baked fresh and if they were vegetarian (halal in my case), and she said they were baked fresh, and suitable for vegetarians and halal foodies! The staff were very inviting. The lady explained what each item was, and she even gave me her personal recommendation. 10/10 for such caring staff :) I ordered a Cinnamon Bun and Latte to eat in. Those buns looked too good to overlook. Also, exceptional presentation of all the bakery items. The Cinnamon Bun was delicious! It was sticky, not too sweet, and full of cinnamon and brown sugar flavour. The Latte was also yummy, and had a lovely pattern on top. Overall, I am very happy I visited Fig + Sparrow, and I will definitely bring my friends next time. This place is too good not to share with others! I would highly recommended this place to those who like coffee shops, and just want to sit and chill :D

I very much enjoyed a Fruit Burst tea from here- served steaming hot. There were several exciting-sounding hot chocolates on the menu that I need to go back and try!

Great cafe in the heart of Piccadilly. I went there to treat myself to a nice cup of coffee and Oreo vegan cake and was really happy. The waitress took time to answer my questions before placing my order and my meal came right on time. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy and they have sitting area close to the windows for people watching while enjoying a meal.

The man serving us was extremely friendly and happy to go through the options of what was available. The pistachio french toast was amazing, and really good value for money! The drinks were delicious and presented in a gorgeous way, absolutely would go back and recommend to friends!

A convenient brunch spot, located right next to St. Peter’s Square—perfect if you’re short on time. The restaurant doesn’t particularly stand out in terms of design or atmosphere, but the staff were very friendly and kind. The food was decent and enjoyable; we ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the English Breakfast.

The mocha was a good size and had little marshmallows with cream on top. The brownie was pleasant to have along with it. Has a lot of seating and tasty drinks ☕😋

A good place for studying, with your laptop and access to WiFi. The staff are friendly. The food options are limited and the French toast with bacon wasn’t up to taste, felt bland and heavy. wish there was something more like soft savoury buns or cinnamon rolls, for snacking during studying. But great atmosphere for quiet learning.

Fast service, friendly staff. We had the ECB Breakfast: full English with a Middle Eastern twist. I also recommend the 0% martini cocktail…a lovely preprandial palate-cleanser.

What a pleasant Wednesday night dinner. We had no wait and the service and food was excellent and on time. We were told the dishes are smaller and for sharing. Although the sizes were much bigger than the Spanish tapas style. The 3 of us shared 3 meat dishes, sea bream and sumac chicken and lamb chops. We shared 3 veggie dishes, the courgette, leeks and cauliflower. Also, the two desserts they offered were delicious.

When we came in it was one of the kitchen staff that needed to ring the bell for the waiters to see and welcome/ seat us. Though the restaurant was nearly empty. They very put us on a small round table. Very uncomfortable. On the other hand food is really good. Tasty and fresh! Really recommend sumac chicken and the humus! Take a bit more care of your customers as you have great scene, fantastic food.

I recently visited Evelyn’s in Manchester and enjoyed their vegan zattar mushrooms. The dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a solid option for vegan diners. However, I was a bit disappointed that the vegan version is priced the same as the regular option, even though it doesn’t include the egg. Adjusting the price to reflect the reduced ingredients would be a fair improvement. That said, Evelyn’s is a lovely spot to catch up with a friend, especially in the colder months when its warm and cozy atmosphere is particularly inviting. Despite the pricing quibble, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The mocha was nice and creamy and tasted like it was made with rich dark chocolate. I also got the latte with honeycomb syrup which was something different with a distinct taste. The place was busy but had a nice cosy atmosphere, but the best thing was the gooey espresso caramel brownie which is probably the best brownie I've ever had 🍫😋

First, let me start with something unusual, which is a barista school. There is a coffee roaster. I expected the coffee to be like any other specialty coffee, but it wasn't anything like that except for the professionalism of the coffee art. The taste of carrot cake is slightly devoid of cinnamon flavor. Service is slow, with only two baristas working the cashier and making coffee. The cafe's atmosphere is terrific and carefully designed to create a unique experience. The prices are great as I got two flat whites and a carrot 🥕 cake for only £10. I recommend visiting the professional cafe. My review is subject to the time and place I came at, which was 10 am on a Saturday. What I don't like, you might like, unlike me, so I invite you to try the cafe.

My husband and I took part in the Beginner Barista Course this afternoon with Dale and had an amazing time. Dale was so enthusiastic and patient with us all, answering all our questions and re showing us techniques. 3hrs absolutely flew by and we learnt loads - absolutely recommend. Top tip - don’t drink any coffee before because there’s plenty to taste during the course!

Had a fantastic morning at the Latte Art training course in the Barista School. The teaching was amazing and it was so fun to see the coffees getting better and better as the morning went on

This is NOT a bookshop (thus four stars). However, it is an exceptional cafe and study space! The atmosphere is perfectly cosy and charming, with some intriguing nooks (and an indoor fountain). Staff are very friendly, and there are a couple of nice vegan cakes available. An excellent hideaway in the city centre. (A few books and it would be perfect!)

Chapter One Books is a charming and relaxing café with a serene atmosphere and a beautifully curated aesthetic, making it a perfect spot for students and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. The design is thoughtfully executed, exuding elegance and warmth. While the food can be a bit pricey, it feels justified given the quality and experience. One standout feature is the enchanting water fountain, which adds a soothing touch to the ambiance. Personally, I think incorporating more water features—like additional fountains or subtle water elements—could elevate the space even further, enhancing its tranquil and refreshing vibe.

An absolute gem to coexist with your people in! If you’re wanting to work away, catch up, converse and coexist in a charming setting, this is the place in Manchester to do that. Quirky and cosy, but big enough to find your own corner in it. The coffee was delightful. And, with what’s available to you, it’s very easy to see yourself being here all day and night. Even if it looks like the toilet is judging you for using it, haha A place to be out in public but remain at home, hidden and private. You can go here many different times and have a different experience of it, depending on the mood you are in.

Amazing place. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is very delicious, and so are the dessert. The coffee is fantastic too. The Spanish latte from here is the best I’ve had in Manchester, both hot and cold!
